Stopped here with some friends from church around 1:30 on Sunday, and it was PACKED! I got the Sausage and Carmelized onion pizza for about $14, and it was a good size! I was not able to finish it all myself, I ate maybe half of the pizza and im a 125 lb 27 year old girl. Do with that what you will. It was really good, the "traditional" crust was THIN and the onions were soooo sweet (I guess I'm not a fan of the carmelization, just raw) but besides that it was good! It was so packed but the cashier saw a table just big enough to fit all of us leaving, and offered to send someone to bus it. They were incredibly short staffed, so she ran over after ringing up her last customer and cleared and wiped down the table for us. She was working a double and explaining that the other coworker called out, so she was kind of alone for the day. But she had an AMAZING attitude and was super friendly and helpful despite carrying a heavy load. Disgusting pizza We both got the 3.14 pie day cheese to try a new pizza place. Neither of us could get more than half down. It was very nasty. I feel sick. Something tasted like anchovies and the dough tasted like it had too much yeast. I could see more sauce than cheese. I came hungry and that's how I'm leaving. I visit this location a few times a month, usually ordering online and picking up a kids' Mac & Cheese meal for my daughter. Today, I noticed I had reward points expiring and enough for a free entrée, so I placed our order through the app as usual without any issues. When I arrived, there were dirty dishes left on the patio tables, which had attracted birds. Inside the restaurant, no employees were visible at first aside from the cook, who greeted me from behind the counter when I mentioned I was there for a to-go pickup. After waiting a few minutes, another employee approached to assist me, and shortly after, a third employee came out of the restroom and handed me my order. I noticed that a side of cheese sauce was missing and mentioned it. I was told that because I had included it in the order notes, it did not guarantee it would be provided and that I would need to be charged separately for it. This was surprising, as I place this same order--including the side of cheese sauce--regularly and have never been told this before. As I left, I again pointed out the dirty dishes tables, as birds were still actively picking at the leftover food. Sauce is one of my son's favorite spots and we've grown to like it too. The people at the register are always friendly. Our go-to pizza is the Mozzarella, Fontina and Basil - simple but delicious. My husband had the Spicy Chicken Sausage and Hatch Green Chili Mac n Cheese and liked that too. The two suggestions I have for Sauce to work on are: 1) They always bring my family's entrees out at different times. Sometimes the last person is waiting up to ten minutes for theirs. It makes for awkward dining. 2) This location is small and crowded, and we're happy that they are popular. But there are always several tables that haven't been cleared off and cleaned. They need to do a better job of turning over tables. Other than that, we've had a good experience dining here. read more

Went last night. Ordered a pizza and the chicken, broccoli and cheese pasta. We sat around for over 35 mins waiting for these two dishes to be done. I finally went up to the counter & our food had been ready what looked to be a while ago. They finally give it to us & we get home. The pizza was burnt and cold. After getting an adjustment at The Joint, I stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered the mozzarella, fontina, and basil pizza on a thin-crust, which was good. I also had their iced tea, which was also really good and refreshing. The workers were a little on the gruff side and I noticed multiple tables were left dirty for a long time. When I arrived for my adjustment at The Joint, there was a dirty table outside and it was left in that condition for over an hour. Sauce is one of my favorites! I think they have great customer service, all their employees are always so well put together and friendly! I order a salad that isn't on the menu anymore... And I know who the new employees are that take my order when I go in, because they always look at me with a blank stare for a moment! But they always find someone to help them learn how to enter it! I love that they give local brewing companies a chance here, they have the IPA Jungle Jack tropical hazy they are from Chandler! If you like tropical flavor this is a beer you should try! We came here for my sisters birthday dinner. It was everyone's first time, aside from my parents. We all explored the menu and then went to order. The guy at the register was not super friendly. We had asked how big the pizzas were and if they could feed 2 people. He said he didn't know and it was just a regular pizza. So we never got an answer on that. We ended up just ordering a few pizzas to serve our table. For anyone curious, the pizzas are 12in and can be shared if you don't eat too much or get something small too. My cousin ordered his own meal at the counter and the guy mentioned they had no change after taking the money into the register. So my cousin awkwardly said to keep it as a tip because he couldn't get anything back. We got table numbers and waited for our food to be brought. The lady who brought our food was not very friendly either. She never smiled just kinda rushed on asking who's food it was. We mistakenly said it wasn't anyones when it was my cousins separate order. He went to the counter to get it back were he was handed his food with attitude. The service had a sudden change after that and when the lady came back with our other orders she seemed nicer. The food itself was okay, I got a panini which was pretty good. However, my chips were too hard for me to enjoy and the meatball I got was chewy and weird textured. The pizzas seemed to be decent. Everyone ate and said it was okay but they would rather have gone somewhere else like MOD. Overall the experience was okay and a bit disappointing. The staff was not knowledgeable with the questions we had and they started off with attitude or just sour moods, which I can understand in a busy setting but it is a turn off. Disappointed in the ingredients used as pizza toppings. Pepperoni was paper thin, flavorless, see thru like lace. Red peppers were thick side cut chunks and had the consistency of thawed veggies. One too thin another too chunky & not aesthetically placed. If corporate is ordering low quality food the independent managers should document the change against the poor sales. Haven't been to Sauce in a while and was craving pizza. i ordered the rosemary potato pizza, beet and arugula salad, a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup for hubby & I. The pizza is one of my favorites but it has significantly less potato that it used to. Still tons of good flavor though and the olive tapenade is the perfect salty addition. The salad is always fantastic, the apples are crisp, the avocado fresh, and the dressing is nice and light. Hubby loved the grilled cheese, super gooey and the bread was crisp. Only negative was his chicken noodle soup ended up some other kind of soup, which is fine, mistakes happen, but whatever he got was overly salty and not very good. Having heard about Sauce for years now, even seeing Yelp Perks being offered at Sauce, I've always wanted to pop in. After getting the good ol' snap, crackle, pop at The Joint Chiropractic next door, we decided to grab some takeout from Sauce. The two of us ordered the Sunday soup ($5), Prosciutto & Fig pizza ($13.75 - white pizza with black mission figs, goat cheese & arugula), and a Spicy Chicken Sausage & Cheese Sauce pasta ($10.50 - with hatch green chile). I call it "Sunday Soup" because while the menu showed that it was supposed to be chicken noodle soup, it had no meat and lots of delicious vegetables like potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms. I'm not sure what it was but it was hot and tasty --- just what I wanted on a rainy Sunday afternoon! It reminded me of minestrone but with corkscrew pasta! The Prosciutto & Fig pizza was lovely and the Spicy Chicken Sausage & Cheese Sauce pasta was amazing. It had good heat with the hatch green chile. So good! I'd definitely get the pizza and pasta again. I can see why this place is so loved. I can't comment much on the service since we got takeout but the bags were definitely packed with all the essentials you would need to enjoy a good meal at home. Two thumbs up! read more

I complained and they told me with was because others had a pizza and I had a salad and those are two different "food lines". I have made 2 visits within a week, and the experience was night and day different. I used to love sauce, but then the noodles changed, the sausage changed, I just ended up holding off from visiting... years later (this week) I went back hoping to love it! I ordered a mikes hot honey pepperoni pizza and a kids Mac, Mac n cheese was dry and the pizza was not crispy. I told my mom how disappointed I was, who invited me back for a better experience because she loved it there! Our return visit was amazing!!! My favorite part was the ricotta appetizer with mikes hot honey, yum!!! It is sweet with a kick, so great for a dessert too. The Mac n cheese was creamy and flavorful. The sausage and caramelized onion was crispy and so yummy. And to add to the prosciutto and fig we topped with balsamic glaze, yum! Everything was great, I'll certainly return. Instacart delivered the wrong order charged me full price, i was unable to resolve. Then I called the establishment and was told they would redeliver the correct order for delivery fee only since instacart wasn't able to refund. So I felt ok about that until I checked my bank account and paid the same amount 2xs $48 so. No matter how nummy 2 chicken Cesar pizzas shouldn't cost almost $100. Food was fabulous when the right order arrived. But it wasn't worth the money I paid. I'll never ever order from here again. I would have called to try to resolve the order issue but I can't afford another $48. So nope not me. If I were you I'd order there and eat there. The food is good eat there for sure. If I were you and you do order delivery just expect not to get what you ordered. I had to order over my daughter is gluten intolerant so she couldn't eat what they brought us. Ordered delivery via Grubhub. I ordered and paid for protein on both salads. There was no protein to be found in my delivered meal. The manager with whom I spoke did not seem very concerned about the error in my order. I contacted Grubhub about the error and both salads were refunded to me. Thank you Grubhub! My boyfriend and I are regulars at sauce. We come here about 1-2 times a week. It is one of the very few places I can eat out at because of stomach issues. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management or what the problem is with the staff/kitchen but the last couple weeks have not been it. I always get the chicken pesto pasta, Poor quality with some of the food and when I had returned it for the first time ever when I received a different plate I was told by the server that "management said we will not be making that for you anymore". He should've came out and told me himself as to why since I've been getting it for months now. The portions have also been noticeably different the last couple times. read more

A group of 10 of us came in for dinner on Friday, 2/23/24. The minute we walked in the door we could tell the workers were all annoyed by the way they looked at us. There were only 4 or so tables being used and we were warned before ordering that all salads would take 30 plus minutes and all pizzas would take 45 minutes. We were okay with it and the kid at the register was even more annoyed we were okay with it. The manager (we assumed because she was dressed different from everyone else) was so rude when she brought us our food. Her tone was so unwelcoming and gave attitude when we had to ask for silverware. She gave us plastic forks because they didn't have any clean ones. While I was waiting by the register to ask about our forgotten bruschetta a group of teenagers came through the door and one of the employees said, "are you serious?!" They literally didn't want people coming in. It was a Friday night at 7pm! if I was the owner of the restaurant I would be so pissed that they were telling people salads would take 30 minutes just to try and get people to walk away. If you don't like your job GO GET A DIFFERENT ONE!! read more
