This must be where all the village people go, and for good reason. The service is excellent here and the food is even better. The food here for the most part is American traditional, the first time I stopped in I ordered waffles, bacon, and eggs "fried" and got a free slice of rhubarb pie. The 2nd time "in the same week" I ordered their chicken fried steak & eggs it's comes with hash browns and I substituted pancakes for biscuits and gravy!! They serve massive amounts of food so make sure you're hungry. Everything I ordered was just fantastic!

Always a nostalgic restaurant as my family took me, and became a local high school spot when the one in Apache Junction was open. Nothing like breakfast any time of the day and finish it with their delicious pie! The service this recent visit was great, and loved they allowed a beverage to go.

Our server, Michael was really nice and friendly. The service was fast, and the order was exactly what we ordered. We have been here a few times, and the customer service is always great.

Food is okay. Prices are reasonable. Nothing to get excited about here. Service is similar to any other restaurant. Nothing exceptional.

Well, I was craving Menudo and we were in east Mesa, so I convinced my family to come for lunch at…read morethis location. Only to be reminded by my kid that menudo is only on the weekend. Sooo annoying. Staffs were friendly and the decor is nice like the west Mesa location. Well tried something new, ordered birria ramen, taquitos, and chilaquiles pastor. Menu was little confusing because I thought it was extra for eggs on the birria but I guess its included. Never tried birria ramen so I was little skeptical. Well well, too my surprise, ramen birria was pretty tasty. Ramen quaily was little better than I expected, nice and chewy. Broth was tasty but definitely was not spicy. Dish also came with I guess tacos with melted cheese? Ate one and it was tasty. Eggs cooked perfect to my order. Taquitos was tasty but nothing special. Chilaquiles was tasty but pastor was little bit on the blend side but still tasty. I really like this place, can't go wrong with their food. I'm just bummed it was not the weekend. Guess I'll have to try again on the weekend.

The vibe is modern Latin Fusion, light and bright. Modern contemporary wall pattern designs Art and logos are notable throughout. Table to ceiling windows let in a tremendous amount of natural light. Some say music sets the mood; well it surprised me today. It was almost like the couple fighting over which radio station to listen to. When it's playing I enjoy the Rumba Rhythms and similar beats but today was all over the place. Service 3/5 I'm being a bit generous with the 3. We were greeted quickly by the hostess who seated us immediately upon entering. The Resturant was after the "lunch rush" and appeared to be at about half capacity. Dispute this our server stopped occasionally hardly breaking stride to get an order twice because he couldn't stop long enough to get the orders properly. Same for refills. Food 5/5 I really looked forward to this revisit. Last time we had table neighbors who both got this delicious concoction of Latin inspired bowl with Birria taco, meat and Roman noodles. That was top of mind for this visit and included 3 skillet fried jalapeños. The food was amazing. The Birria bowl was built around some papas fetas, Birria broth with the roman well cooked in the broth. The bowl was topped with three Birria and cheese tacos which I removed to a side plate to enjoy separately. The bowl in also accompanied by fresh diced Onions and Cilantro. The dish and the fried jalapeños were fantastic. I definitely would have this again. Get your Fusion confusion on my Friends- SYOY!

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.
