This review is long overdue. I got my dress hemmed back in December for my piano showcase, and Charm did such an amazing job! My dress was very open from the top/back and showed some sideboob action, so she was able to put in a fabric that matched perfectly and it looked so amazing! So I bought a vintage dress online for a classical voice performance. When I got the dress the waist was WAY SMALLER then what was advertised. I couldn't zip it up and I freaked out thinking I just wasted my money. I went to Babe and worked with Charm to if she could fix my dress. SHE IS A MIRACLE WORKER. She managed to bring out the waist 3 inches and she even worked on the bust to help it fit better. She basically took the whole top apart and put it back together to fit me! Tons of work, but the final price was fair (and cheap!) She was so kind, funny, and caring. I really enjoyed working with her and you can tell that she loves her job! Her pricing was so fair! When she started working on the dress and saw that it needed more work then expected, she called me and discussed the new price (which was still really cheap). So sweet and I appreciated the heads up! I also had 3 dresses dry cleaned and they all looked (and smelled) wonderful. I would highly recommend getting your alterations and dry cleaning done here. Charm is AMAZING, the staff are very nice, the pricing is cheap, and their work is impeccable. I will be retuning for all of my dress needs! Parking is ample but can get a little crowded with all the stores in the plaza Service: The owner was really friendly and the turnaround time was about 2 days Price: The quote seemed pretty fairly priced, even cheaper than expected (~$11) Product & Result: Came here based on the high 4-5 star reviews to get a dress and suit jacket cleaned. I asked them to remove a stain on the jacket. To my dismay, the stain was not removed and somehow the cleaning process caused the wire inside the front of the dress to poke holes in that part. I should've warned them about the wire, but I was pretty sad that the stain was still in the sleeve. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. read more

My husband and I had such a great experience here. We had a wedding to go to and last minute I had to have a dress altered. Not only did she fix the things I pointed out to her but she also let me know that she would need to fix it in other places or else it wouldn't look good. Some places don't do that for you. They just fix what you tell them and then you are stuck with something that still doesn't fit right. She really took her time in making sure that it fit right and that I was happy with what she was going to do. My dress came out fantastic and it fit perfect! Okay, so I rarely do reviews. I called Rose's Alterations after I received a dress I ordered online. I ordered it to wear to a wedding on Saturday April 28th. When the dress arrived I tried it on only to find out they sent me one size smaller than I had ordered. I absolutely LOVED the dress so I called her right away Thursday right before closing. She told me to come in Friday at 9 am and they would see what they could do. So first thing Friday morning at 9 a.m. I went into the shop to have them look at my dress. Long story short they did a phenomenal job on my dress and they had it ready for me Saturday at noon for me to pick up. I am so thankful to them for not only the turn around time but the workmanship that was involved in my request. WORST Dry Cleaner ever. Lost my dress shirt, called me a liar and yelled at me for asking what happened to my shirt. If you do not want to lose your clothes AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I am going to dispute the charges but it won't even cover a fraction of what my shirt cost!!! read more

I have never had or used Yelp before but after this experience, I felt obligated to say something- hence the reason I am typing this frantically at noon before prom. I got a prom dress that needed alterations- a tighter torso and shorter bottom- and decided to head to Babe's. She measured me and whatnot and told us that the dress would be available by Thursday- 2 days before prom. Thursday comes and she calls me saying that it will be ready by Friday. I was pretty lenient because it did seem like a hard job and I did not want to rush her. However, I was not able to pick it up on Friday and the last option was picking it up on the morning before prom. I show up, try on the dress and there are a number of things noticeably wrong with it. The most careless mistake I saw were safety pins in the straps. I do not see how there can still be safety pins in the dress after being given extra time to alter it. That proved her lack of observance and attention to detail- a very important detail too. The most prominent mistake I saw was that the dress was too long in the front and too short in the back. It was choppy and uneven- like a kindergartner cutting their bangs for the first time. We waited thirty minutes for her to finish fixing it. Thirty minutes that could have been spent doing my make up or hair was spent waiting for her to finish my dress. After this, she felt bad for us and gave us $10 measly dollars out of the $45 that we paid. I am now left with a dress that is worse than it was originally and too short for me to wear any heels with. read more

I am so excited to write this review but can't think of words generous enough to express my satisfaction and enthusiasm towards Babes Cleaners. On October 18th I brought Charm Le, the tailor, a picture of a mermaid dress and some fabric I picked out at Joanne's down the street and less then two weeks later she turned it into a BEAUTIFUL costume for my five year old daughter. The look on her face when she saw it was priceless. Charm did such a wonderful job I can't tell you how many compliments we got on the dress the entire day. When I was young, my grandma made me a homemade costume and it was something I always remembered and I have a feeling my daughter will always remember this one as well.
