Ladies were very kind, but the place was absolutely slammed and a bit chaotic...the shop is very small. I think there is a suit shop next door that kept sending their customers over and jumping in front of the line with absolutely no regard for those of us that were waiting. Additionally...while I was waiting, a gal came in to pick up a bunch of the clothes that needed to be worked on and she left with them. I think I would prefer to go with a shop that does it in-house, but we'll see what happens. The lady at the front was so rude when I went to pick up my pants. I had handed the gentleman my ticket to find my order and asked if I was all set, not sure if I had paid or not. He said yes and I turned toward the door. The lady at the reception area shouted at me that I hadn't paid. She had not even acknowledged me when I walked in the door. I immediately stopped and returned to pay handing her my card. She then repeated that I had not yet paid multiple times and that they only accepted cash. This wasn't an issue as I wasn't claiming I paid, nor did I push back when the said they only accepted cash, or say anything that would warrant her response. After posting on my local buzz page that I needed to find a new alterations pro, I got tons of referrals to this tiny shop. All the employees were attentive and friendly. I just needed a pair of pants hemmed and belt loops on another pair of pants reinforced. Total price was $18 which I thought was reasonable. If I was being super picky, my complaint would be that it's pretty dark inside & cramped...but I'll definitely be coming back. From the second I walked in they were courteous, friendly and professional. I just needed my jeans hemmed. I didn't even ask how much it would be, and didn't expect any rush on the service. I came in to get two pairs of jeans hemmed and I essentially left with one of the pairs looking and feeling extremely awkward. As shown in the pictures, one of the legs is awkwardly cut and sewn back together making the seem run down the front of my leg. This makes them extremely uncomfortable and unwearable. After noticing this I went back in the next day hoping for a fix or refund only to be told numerous times that it's normal and unavoidable yet my other pair of pants were perfectly fine. I tried understanding why the other pair of pants and one of the legs on this pair was done fine but Diane repeated said it was unavoidable and normal. I'm not a sewing expert but I would have handled the situation better by explaining exactly how it's unavoidable or simply stating a mistake was made. I essentially paid $22 to lose a pair of jeans. The other pair of pants were fine. Just disappointed with losing a pair of jeans. Won't be coming back again. read more

I went in asking for a blazer to be altered: taken in with a slit in the back. The woman gave me all kinds of mixed suggestions ("oh do you want a button") before ultimately telling me she couldn't do the alteration because of "how the blazer was made." So I stood there in the middle of her shop, with the blazer on, as she tried to pin the darn thing, as people were waiting to be helped only to decide she "couldn't" to do the job. Seemed like a cop out to me. It's a tailor shop, I'm sure they've altered more complicated pieces of clothing than a blazer. Also there was no sense of "sorry we can't help you," or "let me tell you of a better suited tailor shop." No sense of help, service or courtesy at all. I don't often leave a business feeling offended; but that happened in this case unfortunately. read more
