I recently dropped off 5 pairs of pants for hemming on Saturday with a Tuesday pick up. I stopped by on Wednesday and they weren't ready. I came back this morning (Thursday) and they are missing 1 pair and asked me to come back later. Luckily I'm not on a time crunch for these pants but I'm annoyed that I've returned TWICE and they still aren't ready. I couldn't even call the number to ask beforehand because their voicemail is full and no one picked up. This place has definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm not too knowledgeable about alterations and I haven't got a lot of my clothes altered. Maybe just a handful. This would be the first time I got my jeans altered. When I got them back, I noticed their attention to detail. If you take a look at this picture, they didn't just cut roll and so the jeans. It looks like they cut the bottom part of the jeans, cut the jeans size and then sewed back the original bottom part of the pants. Not sure if this is standard practice or not, but this is what they do. I think it's amazing. I'm really impressed by the quality of work and the price. We asked when the suit would be ready by and he said in 2 days, but since we needed the dress shirt for the next day we said never mind to the shirt. If I can give this place 10 stars I would! My wife and I were looking for a Dry Cleaning service since moving to the area so decided to give A&B Cleaners a try since they had good reviews on Yelp. Walking in for the first time, I was greeted instantly by one of the most friendliest, attentive guys I have ever met (George the owner). He had so much energy and good vibes from the start. He walked us through their standard pricing and processing time which was all very straight forward. What stood out was the following: I needed to use a button up shirt I had brought in for an event the same weekend and since it wouldn't be ready by then I opted to not get it cleaned/wear it as is. Hearing this, George said "Let me take care of it!". He took the shirt to the back and was able to do a quick clean/iron free of charge just so that I could use the shirt for the weekend event. Now that is great service! When it comes to first impressions, this sets the standard! He didn't have to but he used his own time and effort to make it happen. Also When I went to pick up my clothes the day after the expected date for It to be ready. There were huge stains still on my clothes. Nobody cared to even look or check It before giving It to me. I had taken two casual jackets to have zippers repaired. I was told that it could be done in a couple of days, The jackets were repaired and they did a good job. George and team assured me that the stains would be gone and that my blazers would be ready next day as I needed. Also to note the first time I came here they charged me $15 dollars which I was reluctant to pay. That time they lost my jeans and made me come back 5 hours after the pickup time to pick it up . The jeans came back shorter than it was when we first marked it for both times It also came with a bunch of threads on it from probably other hemmed items. For my 10th year wedding anniversary I decided to redo my wedding photos in my wedding dress in New York. As careful as I was, after wearing it for half a day all over Manhattan and Brooklyn, the bottom of my dress was pretty dirty so it was on my immediate to do list to get it cleaned. First of all, there are very few cleaners down in Orange County that do wedding dress cleaning and preservation. I narrowed it down to a couple of places I found, and all I wanted was to get a quote over the phone to see how much it would be to clean the dress. Since I had it previously preserved, I still had the boxes. I called A&B first and explained to the owner what I needed, and he quoted me $185 since I don't need a new box. I called another place and was told it could be a few hundred to a couple of thousand, but that I had to bring in my dress before she would quote me. Needles to say, I decided to go with A&B and I cannot be happier. Drop off was easy, and the day I went to pick it up the dress wasn't boxed yet so they showed me the dress and it was perfect.
