How have I not reviewed this place before! My husband and I come to St. Augustine every year and…read morethis is one of our must stop breakfast spots. This trip was no different. We came here on Labor Day and were greeted with a line out the door. We were not surprised as it typically is this busy on a holiday weekend (when we come), but the line moves fast and the parking moves even faster. It's a cute, beachy, dog friendly donut shop that has outdoor seating. I typically wait in line while my husband scopes out outdoor seating for us and our pups. I ordered two coffees this time. One was a regular coffee and the other was a snickerdoodle for my husband. He loved his so much that he ended up getting a refill even before I sat down with our food. Mine was delicious too! I ordered the Boston cream, Zebra, and Strawberry chocolate donuts. They were cooked to perfection and the Boston cream was delicious. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. This took a little bit of time to make, but I knew that going in based on how busy it was. Highly recommend this too if you're not a donut person because the sandwich was delicious. We will be back!

The variety of donuts is amazing and if can't find something you like then it doesn't exist. I had the caramel frost donut which had some salt in the frosting. The donut was airy and the frosting was decadent. My wife had the Boston Crème and said it was fantastic! It's walk-up counter service only and the folks here are friendly and get you your order very quickly with a smile. This establishment was recommended by the folks at Beachcomber's located on A Street. So locals helping locals! Cool to see & hear! Sorry, no pics as we ate them as soon as we got back to our room!

So I've been told get here early or don't even bother and that's exactly what we did and I must say these are definitely some of the best donuts in the state as they are hot fresh and just classic but definitely with their own unique style. So the blueberry cake donut was definitely my favorite as it was super flavorful with blueberry donut goodness as well as a yummy icing on top to set the vibe to the donut goodness one could totally get again and again! The jelly donut was awesome like it's up there with one of the best ones I've ever had as the flavors were totally there and just a perfect doughnut from start to finish. So we are suckers for apple fritters and we totally had to get one to try and I must say while it was good it wasn't my favorite as these I'm very picky with as I love them flat and really crispy and not everyone does them this way so I can't knock them for their own style and besides it was definitely good for what it was just not the go to one for me! There straight up is only a window in the door a true hole in the wall where you pick what you want from the window with a nice lady helping us she was very quick to get the line down! If you plan on using a card to pay they to charge you a fee so just plan accordingly or bring cash to avoid it! Overall if you live in the area you should totally come here if your traveling takes you through Ocala you should come here and if your just looking for good donuts yes you should come here so get the grease sponge recipe ready for whoever comes next!

I was told that Tas-T-O's donuts was a must and they weren't wrong. This is an old-school donut joint doing it retro-style which is the best way! I made sure to be there right after opening at Saturday 6:15am and there were already cars pulling up. I was told get there super early or be shut out. I can see why, as these donuts are the real deal! Made fresh overnight and put on display shelves in the front window. You order from the front door window and also point to the ones you want and how many. I got a box of a dozen and it was less than $20, a variety of donuts, apple fritters, and glazed bow ties. Along with a tasty large cup of coffee for around $3. All I'll say is "WOW"!!!! The donuts are delicious, soft, moist, fluffy, and so fresh tasting. No wonder they sell out fast, as most days they are open 5 or 6am until noon, and many times they close early once they sell out. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can see the kitchen in full view with all it's equipment and racks through the windows. Oh, and the service is terrific. The girl working this overnight to morning shift making the donuts was very kind and nice to chat with. Even though she had to be tired she was cheerful with a smile as we discussed the business and answered my questions about the business and area. Fantastic donuts, variety, price, and customer service. So glad I made it over to this donut heaven.

Everything inside was white and there was plenty of seating. There was a line when we arrived but they moved through it pretty quickly. Definitely a spot I'd recommend stopping by after dinner if you're craving something sweet. There were so many things I wanted to try, so I'll definitely be back!

Specifically had the raspberry and chocolate croissants and was very happy with both. Raspberry croissant was super flaky with a nice cream and jelly inside. Little messy to eat, but delicious and not too sweet. The chocolate croissant was also very good and both pastries were large. Price for both was a little steep but given size, quality, and being at WEC it really wasn't bad. Coffee was also pretty good with the price surprisingly reasonable be given its location. Place was fairly busy but the line moved quickly so it wasn't an issue. If you're looking for a nice pastry and coffee I would definitely repeat if you're at or near WEC.
