Came in here a second time service is top notch very friendly, but prices are nuts! I recall now why I have steered clear since my first visit. I came in on 4/3 and ordered the following: 1 Warm croissant with ham and cheese 1 Amond croissant 1 Simply Orange Juice 1 French Orange Juice 1 Cappuccino Once my total came I was quoted $31 sounded crazy for the little I ordered but nonetheless I swiped my debit card and went on with my day. Later that evening I was checking my bank transactions, and low and behold I was charged $43.46 for my order. No way! I was not a fan. I reached out to the website email and explained the issue. I got a polite "I'm sorry you were quoted wrong" & a copy of the transaction. I also noticed a $5.67 tip that I am sure I never opted for as I never leave tips with a card payment it's usually always cash. I'm been here twice, and they do have fabulous authentic Parisian pastries. The first time on my birthday when off without a hitch, but the last time I stopped by was a different experience. I got my sandwich to go, and after taking off I realized I was given the wrong item. I circled back around to resolve the issue, and while my problem was fixed, the sandwich I took on a joy ride ended up back in the display! It certainly shouldn't have (I had picked it up in order to discover it was the incorrect order), and I'd certainly hate to be the customer on the tail end of that. Seating inside was already 3/4 full. Two small bistro tables outside. BAD: Ran out early of baguettes and quiche. There is demand for their products. Not cheap, $4 for a large croissant. It blows Costco's for 12 for a much lower price out of the water. So nothing bad except we wanted to try more. UGLY: No ugly here. Not cheap, you are paying for high quality, specialized, yummy food. I have dined at this eatery several times when visiting Saint Augustine. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are always so delicious and so is the coffee! There are a couple of tables to sit outside and several to eat inside. They have quiches, croissant sandwiches, unusual, pastries, torts, you name it! It's been a minute since I last visited Les Petits Pleasures and we (me & my family) decided to stop in for a coffee break on our way to the beach. We arrived about half and hour before they were about to close so the dessert selection was a little scarce, but still had some nice selections. I decided on the Merveilleux au Chocolat (crispy meringue cookies with chocolate cream in between and on the outside then rolled in dark chocolate shavings) to share and to eat with our coffee beverages. They also had a Merveilleux au Praline which I will definitely try next time. I ordered a breve latte as I do when I go to any coffee shop and two caramel lattes for my mom and sister. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly care much for my breve latte. This is a very rare occurrence for me not to like an espresso made with heaving whipping cream. It could just be that I didn't enjoy the flavor profile of the coffee grounds/beans they use here, but my mom and sister liked theirs so there's that. I guess I'm a coffee snob. Overall, the staff was friendly and the service was good. They have sufficient seating and tables to enjoy a quick bite and beverage. The inside was clean and the decor was adorably French. I ordered a dozen gingerbread men 2 years ago for Christmas. I needed to go to Ocala for my sister. All she wanted was gingerbread. I arrived and a young girl gave them to me. A woman , also an employee jerked them out of my hands and said they are not yours. I left and I cried all to Palatka. The owner did call and said they were yours . Come get them. Although I planned on 2 little pastries to go, I filled a box and then had a delicious ham& cheese croissant with a side salad for lunch. Everything was delicious! (Saving 3 pastries for Franco-philes). The bakery is in the process of "renovation" so the wine shelves were empty. no wine for Joyeux quatorze juillet. There was a 3% "service charge" added plus a 3% cc fee. Perhaps the first was for the pastry box? This might help me to stick with "2 lil pastries" in the future! read more

Petits Pleasures is truly a misnomer. The Pleasures found here are trés grande! Our first stop was on a Sunday morning and I'm glad we arrived early. It's identified in the little strip mall as "FRENCH BAKERY", seems accurate. Staff was very pleasant and the decor is as expected for a French Bakery. The best part, of course, are the display cases filled with delectable patisseries, surely something for everyone. It was a daunting task, but I selected the Almond Chocolate croissant, accompanied by Café au Lait. We took a seat and the food came out to the table shortly, coffees took a bit longer. The Coffee was fine, but the Croissant... oh my! Filled with some almost flavored cream, incredible flaky outside and then the chocolate! Oh, that chocolate! I'm not a huge fan of Chocolate pastries, sometimes they use the chocolate to hide an inferior pastry product, but not here. It brought it to a whole new level! By the time we left, the place was full (there are limited tables to dine in) and there was a lengthy line at the counter. We also brought a few items back for others: Pain Chocolate and the Cinnamon Roll. Both got excellent reviews.
