My bill is $353.71, plus $144 directly to the lab--a grand total of $496.71. Again, look up the average cash-pay rate in Arizona; it will not say $500! Why is it so high here? Thanks for asking. Well at this darling practice, a standard pelvic exam is NOT considered part of a women's wellness exam! Unbelievable and unacceptable! Then ask twice on June 2nd because they are not directly answering you. June 3rd they give you some BS and don't send you an itemized bill so you ask for a manager. June 8th ask for an itemized bill and manager again. June 15th as for a supervisor and itemized bill again. June 16th they say "Can you your email address." And you ask them to send you your itemized bill through the secure patient portal. June 18th you send them "Because you has repeatedly refused to provide the legally required itemized statement for the $784.09 gross charge and have evaded all requests to speak with a supervisor, I have officially filed a formal consumer complaint against this facility with the Arizona Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division." Then FINALLY on June 24th 2026 you get this breakdown. It was just that easy! So anyway, do not go here. They use deceptive billing practices. I asked if there were a way to fill it online because my writing hand was injured -- could barely grip a pen and it was painful to do so. I can hunt and peck type on my phone. There was "a way but it would take too long." And just looked at me, no turning toward her PC. I thought, Huh. Well, crap. Sorry to be so much trouble. (Nobody in line, only a couple people waiting in all. I said, "It hurts to write." She said "Sorry" like she didn't mean it. And that was it. I was dismissed. I scrawled the info. Here ya go, sweetheart. (No, I just thought it, didn't say it.) Moving on, the X-ray tech didn't exchange a pleasant word, ask any questions. Nope. All about getting the job done. I was seen by Liani, she seemed nice and tried to change my original Treats follow up from 3 months to six month. I wanted to follow Dr.Davidson treatment plan, she agreed. I called to make follow and was told I had a six month appt and rude reception would not listen . i ask to speak with office mgr and the call was disconnected I called back several time and when they picked my call it was disconnected. I filed a complaint with insurance and waiting to hear back. Needless to say Palm Valley Avondale is unprofessional and staff don't give a damn.
