When we were finally brought in, we were very clear that we did not want to know the genders and asked for them to be sealed in envelopes so a family member could tell us later at our gender reveal. Unfortunately, when our family member opened the envelopes before the reveal, there were no genders included at all. The envelopes only contained ultrasound images that did not show the gender of either twin. Because of this, we had to return to the office and ask them directly for the genders, completely ruining the experience we had planned. While the staff member we dealt with afterward was polite, the overall process was disorganized, unprofessional, and not worth the price. For something this meaningful, I expected far better.

When I contacted billing for help, they refused to verify my insurance. I was also told that the intake staff is responsible for confirming coverage and discussing any potential patient responsibility before services are provided. That conversation never happened. To make matters worse, Ikesha disconnected my call when she appeared unable to address my concerns. The entire experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and unacceptable. Patients deserve transparency regarding insurance coverage and possible costs before receiving care--not a surprise bill afterward and no meaningful assistance from billing. How ironic that some of the staff who in some cases were not born when I first started seeing Dr. Magdy now turned the atmosphere into something uncomfortable and unrecognizable.
