For a woman with my medical history, it is typical for the cervix to tighten and harden shut. Dr. Oswald had to continually get new tools to get mine open which caused such extreme pain I almost collapsed in my car as I was leaving. I was able to get back inside and collapsed into a chair. They put me in a wheelchair and I was taken to the back where I got ill and was given a shot for pain. I will never use this facility again and I'm glad I didn't try to drive home, I would not have made it.

Fortunately, we found alternative treatment options that gave the care my daughter needed. Dr. Lydia Washer had incorrect information about basic disease processes and did not want to ask for a second opinion. When she had no explanation for my daughter's concerning symptoms, I began to ask her questions. At that point Dr. Washer was completely unprofessional. She began to cry and say she had had a really hard day. She then abruptly walked out of the room and discharged us minutes later without answering my questions or giving any explanation for very concerning symptoms. Had we left and not sought alternative care there could have been a very different outcome. I WOULD NOT TRUST ACHNW WITH THE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!! I have heard too many stories like my own.

It seemed to be a newer experience to have someone with my medical history and gender identity, but there were no moments where I felt disrespected. If anything, the team here was eager to make me comfortable and heard -- with the registration member checking to get me the appropriate paperwork. Even the mammogram was a good experience, with the technician getting as much relevant information as possible for the doctor. The waiting room itself is big and plush as well. So it contribued to my eczema which like destroyed my fingers. I was handed a duplex printed paper which was like an "if/then/else process" with variability and not my specific products throughout, and it did contains chemical names, not my specific products. I have requested this each visit and am sure that I am not the only person who asks for more than just the verbal instructions given during the exam. It is reasonable to be specific to my treatment and not a guessing game left up to my interpretation. Instead of addressing my specific questions, and clearly listing the steps morning and night with the specific products for my personal treatment, I have to try to figure out what the heck and when to use what! I notice this hesitation to write down anything with many offices now and feel that it is a drop in service for whatever reason (liability-related?, laziness?), but it frustrates me unnecessarily. Additionally, when I call to make an appointment for my preferred location, I am met with pushback because of where I may have been seen the previous time, which I occasionally accommodate for scheduling reasons. Once they put down a preferred location and if I correct them that, yes, I did see them at the Lowell location, but I prefer the Fayetteville, there is an snark. I'll just add that I try to be pleasant, but due to this ongoing resistance, I am going to find a different practice.

I have had a problem with my left ear for over a month. Went to my doctor a few times to figure out…read morewhat was going on. So I got a referral to come here to get a CT scan on my ear. The lady I talked with and the one who did my scan her name was Kim. So what was nice is I came in to check in thinking I was going to need to fill out a bunch of paperwork but it was simple. The lady who checked me in asked me a few questions and I was off to get this test. Kim she was the sweetest lady she was very helpful with getting me ready and letting me know what to expect. The test only took about 10 minutes to do. Kim made sure that I was very comfortable and made sure I had warm blankets on me the whole time. After the test I gave her a big hug and told her I was very appreciative of her helping me go through this time. So Thankyou Kim
