I knew exactly what I wanted for flights, times, airports, airplanes, etc. I'm only giving them 2 stars because they responded to me immediately. They just returned my email with flights, no introduction, no "hi, my name is", nothing. They just kept emailing one flight after another with zero attempt at any pleasantries or interaction. Each flight was crazy expensive or not what I asked for. I asked twice that they call me and provided my number, yet they continued to just email flights. Then, they just stopped all together. Lazy, cold, unprofessional, and ignorant. I found them on Google, that's how businesses are found by new potential customers. Let them cater to their regulars, obviously they don't care to earn new customers.

We explained this to Judy going in...Long story short, terrible experience. Cluster f@ck from the get go...from her spelling my aunts name wrong on plane ticket, to being seating about 10 rows apart on the plane. When we received our trip documents in the mail we immediately called Judy who assured us she would fix the screw up with the plane seating, which she failed to do. Additionally she promised she would upgrade our room because of the screw up. She didn't come through on this either. I went along with using a travel agent against my better judgement. Lesson learned! I should've booked directly myself, the way I always do. Avoid her at all costs!

I sent in a request and someone answered within the same day asking what my budget was. I was ecstatic. I wrote a reply back and immediately got an e-mail saying "You are talking about ($ amount) -- sorry, we are unable to help." I wrote back, asking if I could have a quote and what the average price was for the itinerary I needed. No response. I left a phone message. Still no response. So I went to a travel agency down the street from my house. Not only did I get the plane ticket I wanted at about the same price I was asking for, they were soooo much more accomodating. I'm even sending postcards to my travel agent. :D

Metro tours did a great job! We worked with the owner/manager, Peter Metropolis. He personally travels to Greece every year to check in on the hotels that they recommend. If they don't do any upgrading every two years they remove them from their list of hotels. We didn't worry about a thing while we were traveling. There was always someone at the airport to pick us up and bring us to our hotel. We felt like movie stars.... we didn't carry our bags once! All of our hotels were perfect, with the exception of one in Rhodes. When we were planning our trip, Peter had warned us that this hotel may not be our style. He ended up being right. However, all we had to do was go to the local travel agency that worked with Metro Tours and they moved us to a beautiful resort that was more expensive and all-inclusive for no extra cost (they even covered our cancellation fees at the first hotel). Like I said, we never worried about a thing. They took care of everything for us! Peter also managed to get us 24 hours in London on our way back from Greece at no extra cost. Ahhhh.... the life of traveling!! Planning a trip to Greece?! We recommend Metro Tours to everyone!

I reached out with several destinations,…read moreflexible dates, and what I thought was a somewhat generous budget ($1500/person) and got a response simply saying "we will not be able to assist you". I wish they had told me why! Are the destinations more expensive than my budget? Are the dates unavailable? I referenced "my partner" - do they not work with same-sex couples? I also said I was open to other destinations - did they not care to look into other destinations for the dates I provided? I would have been happy to increase our budget or look into other destinations - but I guess they didn't care about offering me other options. It just seems so weird that they wouldn't want to work with me. For a company with such good reviews I'm disappointed that they don't want my business. I hope others have a better experience!
