I knew exactly what I wanted for flights, times, airports, airplanes, etc. I'm only giving them 2 stars because they responded to me immediately. They just returned my email with flights, no introduction, no "hi, my name is", nothing. They just kept emailing one flight after another with zero attempt at any pleasantries or interaction. Each flight was crazy expensive or not what I asked for. I asked twice that they call me and provided my number, yet they continued to just email flights. Then, they just stopped all together. Lazy, cold, unprofessional, and ignorant. I found them on Google, that's how businesses are found by new potential customers. Let them cater to their regulars, obviously they don't care to earn new customers.

They arranged the flights...and, although I would have preferred less connection time on the return trip (it was 5 hours in Philadelphia), all flights were on a major airline (American) and on time...from my home airport of Manchester, NH to my destination of Edinburgh...and then from London back to Manchester NH when I returned home. The hotels were mostly Holiday Inn Express (which were satisfactory and clean, with adequate breakfasts) throughout Scotland and England, until we got to London, when we stayed at a lovely, more upscale hotel (the Danubius Regent's Park where the breakfasts were exceptional). On most days, there were excursions/guided tours of one sort or another...as well as opportunities to prebook additional tours/excursions, which I did. The drive along Coastal Scotland was wonderful, as was the tour at Windsor Castle and the high tea at Jane Austen's house in Bath. In addition to all breakfasts, several dinners were included in the tour price. I'd taken a Road Scholar trip to Costa Rica last year where ALL meals were included each day...and I felt that having to be with the group for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day was a bit much and a bit restricting...which is why I opted for the EF Tour which allowed for more free time...and personal choices. The bus travel from city to city was extremely comfortable...and both our fearless leader, Kurt Hoffmann...and the various bus drivers, including the wonderfully patient Allen, always made sure to schedule rest stops along the way. And speaking of Kurt...his constant attention to detail, upbeat personality, and knowledgeable grasp of the areas we traveled through...all helped contribute to the high level of satisfaction and enjoyment each day. I believe he made each person on the tour feel their needs and wants were important to him...and he was always ready to listen and make things happen to ensure smiles on the faces of everyone in the group. I confirmed with him multiple times during our phone call that my trip was paid for. A month later, I still hadn't received my refund. I called and was again told the amount of money I would be refunded; then a week later, I got less than half of what I was owed. They shorted me over $1,100!!! I was told I still owed on my trip, which was not true. I do NOT recommend using this company. And with all the tour groups out there to choose from, I'd think they'd want to do better. Not to get your business, but to keep it. I will never use this travel company again.

This is a team of experienced travel professionals, a close knit team that works across New York City, DC and Boston +. The Boston team actually is from the area and knows Boston and the area extremely well. I have worked with CIRE for well over 5 years in the corporate setting and occasionally sneak in a private setting as well. On all fronts, I know my corporate team is well taken care of. Eric and his team go above and beyond to ensure smooth travels. They are security blanket when I need it and the relationship CIRE has with a lot of hotels and airlines has saved us a pretty penny many times. Although we did our usual travel research, working with Melissa at CIRE made it one of our most enjoyed and memorable vacations. She attended to every last detail and began planning and guiding us months before our departure. Melissa's intake call lasted almost an hour - making sure she knew all our previous travel destinations, and documented our likes and dislikes to ensure she guided us appropriately. After the initial call, she began emailing suggestions, options and recommendations. Whatever questions we had, Melissa responded almost immediately. She gave us excellent hotel/resort recommendations at various price-points, arranged somewhat complicated flights as we planned on visiting more than one island, and scheduled highly-rated tours at each island. She also handled a somewhat unusual request in finding and booking the best companies on the islands to provide my husband with mobility scooters. When realizing we had somewhat overbooked our tours due to health issues, she immediately pivoted and took care of the cancellation - no effort on our part whatsoever. Once in the final stages, Melissa scheduled a call to review all the arrangements, as well as contact information should we need "off-hour" assistance and provided an app that included every detail of our travel. In addition, she sent us comprehensive lists of all recommended restaurants, broken down both by area and dining levels and flavors. Next trip - CIRE Travel will arrange!!!

Travel agent aka Salesperson promised me everything would be exactly as I requested. Then handed it off to another person and then somebody else in Thailand. Tours didn't happen, lots went wrong. When my credit card company questioned them, they said it was due to weather. A complete lie. It was very upsetting from the beginning to the end.

Cutting to the chase, I would never use them again. Everything was fine with Ecuador and the Galapagos. However, the trip to Bolivia was a certified nightmare. The travel agent had us getting into the hotel after midnight and leaving for the excursion early the next morning. We only had two or three hours to sleep and we are all completely sleep deprived. It was insanity. The tour guide was more interested in stopping to eat then showing us the sites that we had traveled to see. At lunch, he casually said that the sites might be closed now. Then, at Easter Island they assign you a national Park guide who is obviously in a rush to show you the sites as quickly as possible, and take the rest of the day off. We let AUDLEY know and they did absolutely nothing. So yes, the sites were fine, but we constantly had to battle a poorly planned itinerary and lazy guides where we received no support from the travel agent. We are traveling again to Egypt in May and I will avoid AUDLEY at all costs. They are unstable, unresponsive, and sloppy.

I contacted her by text and she immediately went to work to identify and provide me with the guide's mobile number and also, provide the guide with my number. Long story short...we connected with the guide and were able to enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour over general admission.
