    Crab cakes at Bacchus Lounge
    Olivia A.

I love Bacchus Lounge ... it's a great place to sit back and have a cocktail. It's been awhile since I had done more than have just a drink there, so last night I decided to get some food. We started off with the chips and guac, which was amazing, so I highly recommend. Then I got a house salad and some crab cakes. If I am going to a restaurant, I usually try to steer away from just eating a salad, since I can make that for myself at home. But Bacchus has white french dressing, which I am OBSESSED with, and it is very hard to find it at any other restaurant, or even in the stores. So it was a must for me. The crab cakes were also delicious. They had a little bit of a kick to them, but I can't really handle anything spicy, so I'm sure any normal person would be OK with them.

Burger with a fried green tomato and an egg

Bacchus Lounge is the perfect place to go for a casual but amazing meal. I love to go here after a long day at work when I don't feel like cooking but crave something really tasty. Their pizzas are fantastic and so are the wings...and the burgers...and the Cajun food. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Although the menu is quite eclectic, Bacchus specializes in New Orleans-style flavors. The interior is casual - with a bar, wooden tables and a few TVs, and it is attached to the more upscale Russo's restaurant. On our last visit, I got the Sazerac, a classic New Orleans drink, and the gumbo ya ya complete with Crystals hot sauce, which you don't typically see in Ohio restaurants. My husband got the burger, and he said it had a really unique and flavorful seasoning. He added a fried green tomato and an egg for an extra southern touch.

Just moving to the area and stopped in for a light dinner. Gumbo starter and then perch and sweet potato fries were perfect. I will be back!

Disappointed. I know Russo's has usually good food, so I naturally thought this would be an extension of that, but it is not.

Excellent Po Boys! Chef made us oyster ones on request. Sat outside and had a great lunch.

Always a favorite when we are in the area. Stopped in for a couple Long Islands, Boneless wings with the Tiger Sauce and a Pizza!

Met a friend here. Her suggestion to come here for dinner. This was hard to score. A lot of good…read morebut a few bad. It was crowded on a Tuesday. They have a taco Tuesday thing but it's not a discount it's 3 tacos and you can mix and match from what they make. Which is not really a special in my opinion. The place has a nice patio and inside can fit an about 10 tables of various sizes. And the bar has seating. Cute place. I see it can get crowded on a Friday night or Saturday night. We got the green bean app for the table. They are cooked perfectly with teriyaki glaze and some tempura but not a lot. They have a sauce that has a bit of a kick but not bad. These are good and good to share. Good portion. I ordered the steak and gruyere sandwich and chips. Sandwich was good. Not big but very flavorful and good. Would have liked a bigger banquette for the sandwich. Ok amount of meat. It was good. The chip side was very crunch and good amount. But to me the chips were a bit greasy tasting. Needed more salt and a bit of flavor. It was a ok meal. The friend that suggested the restaurant got the Ohio burger. It was huge. She cut it into 4's and only ate half. It was big! She also got the chips. Again chips were ok just a bit oily tasting and need salt. The dining area is loud. Lots of people in close proximity talking. It's hard to hear and sound is bouncing. That was a bit of a bummer to try and talk over all the noise. Server was good very attentive and helped with suggestions. Bill for 3 sandwiches, including a burger, a water, coke and cider with green beans appetizer was $81. Not including tip.

Went around 6:30 on a Thursday night and were seated right away. The space is small but still cozy…read moreand not too loud. The servers are super friendly and ensure you are taken care of. The food was served perfect temperatures, flavorful and good portions! Highly recommend this place for a date, girls night it, or even family dinner.

Darby's on Fifty-Nine - Love the wood floors and high ceilings. The panels really helped keep noise down when it became full.
