Meatball hotdog with cheese from dog menu
    Danielle F.

I'll start by saying I didn't do my homework well enough and didn't realize dogs had to be leashed in the fenced in area. We drove 40 minutes so we could have lunch and our dog could hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather we had today. We could have went to a dog friendly patio closer to home had we known she was going to be sitting at the table. (We were the only ones there for the first 5 minutes, so I did let her sniff around) [[HIGHLIGHT]]The fenced in area is very nice and extremely clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was ok, just standard burgers and fries. Hate Craft 62 Cola, it's disgustingly sweet. Millie had her own little meatball hotdog, which of course she enjoyed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it was a beautiful day and it was nice to have lunch on the patio, just wish our dog was able to roam.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As I thought that was the purpose of it being fenced in.

Single and double classic cheeseburgers, fries , onion rings with side of onion ring sauce and beer cheese for dipping

Juicy and well seasoned burgers, fries and onion rings - toppings were all fresh , fries and onion rings crispy - we ordered a side of beer cheese for fries which was creamy and flavorful with right portion size for fries . Service was friendly and fast . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was clean and cutely decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall really good experience - would recommend and will be back

Salt potatoes, burger, fried pickles, coney dog

Ordered online. The server was friendly and my order came out relatively quickly. The Salt potatoes and beer cheese were as advertised; however, the cheese was a bit congealed. I added a little sea salt to step it up. The burger was m'eh. I was kind of disappointed that they charged for the basic toppings: lettuce, tomato, and onions. The coney dog was decent. A nice beef dog with what tasted like canned chili. The fried pickles were a total miss. They looked like fries and tasted like fries. Since they were skinny spears, the batter to pickle ratio was off and there was virtually no pop of pickle flavor. Two stars might be generous.

    Chicken tenders

Service was simple because we ate at the patio. So the QR code to order and pick up at window with text when ready was simple and convenient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was really great! 5 stars for the patio! The turn was great for my kid to roll around on. We played some connect 4. And the umbrella for shade was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was all elevated but just short of a 5 star for us. Tenders were big and nice crunch to them. Breading was a little think for me. Fish sandwich had a little too much sauce that made my sandwich moist and lose the crisp on the fish and got really messy. However the taste was really good. The mushrooms were ok. The sauce we got bang bang. Which was great. The ranch seemed house made and had a dill finish. Was good surprise with chicken and mushrooms.

My dog and I had a great time at Doodle Drive-In during a road trip to Cuyahoga/Cincinnati. First we ordered from a carhop, who provided a menu to review before coming back to take our order. They have a portion of the menu specifically for dogs to order from! And the entire menu is a la carte. Our order came out pretty quickly but there weren't many people there at the same time. My dog enjoyed the Chow Chow: unseasoned meatballs on a bun with shredded cheese. I ordered the hangover burger which was large and good. The beef bacon was something I had never tried before and enjoyed. The potatoes on the burger was a bit much, but I had also ordered tater tots so that might have been too many potatoes for me. I loved that they had cream soda on tap - it was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was their ranch: it had a heavy dill taste. After we received our food we parked in front of the dog park area and went in to eat. The pet grass was clean and in great shape. There were so many tables and most had umbrellas you could raise to provide shade. There were a few other dogs and owners also enjoying the nice day and eating but plenty of space for all. Definitely recommend as a place to visit with your pup! They also have some cute dog and larger sized murals on their building.

I went when it was called Retro Dog or whatever and liked it better then. This new iteration was just ok for me. Seemed popular with the locals as it was a steady stream of people coming in. They appear to have live music Saturday evenings. The place was clean inside where we chose to eat, rather than in our cars. The workers were nice. My patty melt was decent enough, but the wife and boy did not like their food at all. The fries were honestly the best part of all of it. The salt potatoes and bier cheese tasted good at the time, but later on the cheese did not agree with me. I won't be back, partly because I live almost 40 minutes south of here..but also because I can spend $41 somewhere else and have a better meal.

The fish sandwich, with two filets--very filling and tasty!

My wife and I love this place! The food has been excellent and the service has been great--people are always cheery and friendly. We take advantage of ordering through the Toast app, which is really convenient for us during super busy work days. We've always found the portion sizes to be generous and the food hot at pickup time. We've come to enjoy the LGBT (lettuce, guacamole, bacon, and tomato) on sourdough as a favorite. The burgers have been tasty and juicy, and the fish sandwich is also a favorite of mine. The owners have done a wonderful job with the property and making it a welcoming business for all (including dogs).

I'm so glad we finally got here. We really liked Retro-Dog and were sad when it closed. But, Doodles has made us really happy. The food is amazing. Burgers are gourmet and HUGE!!! The chili and chili dogs did not disappoint either. Salt and pepper fries on the side were golden and perfect. My son and his friends said the root beer floats and shakes were top notch! The wife agrees with them. Another cool thing, every table has colored pencils and paper. They frame and hang customer art. So, I drew them a Corgi.

Italian beef and fries. SOOOOO tender and the bread is fluffy and soft..

Great atmosphere and food! Joined with a small group of 8 including kids, and what a great find! Mind you, it's winter so the outdoor space and drive-in may be great in summer but this is a review of dine-in at the restaurant. First off it's sit where you like and order at the counter. I tried the seasonal gingersnap shake, matzo ball soup (because where can you find it!!!) and a house salad. Others got burgers, fries, Italian beef special. Kids had chicken tenders/nugg and sliders/fries. Another of our group had chili and cornbread. Food was prompt, but it wasn't busy. Overall great flavors! We ate until we were full not stuffed.i enjoyed the large matzo ball soup which wasn't really big by any means. The small salad made me rethink not ordering enough, but I capped it off with the Gingersnap cookie shake which WOW cookie pieces in ever sip! Recommend!!! Loved that they had dog treats menu! Cute place! Will be back again when we are in town!

Everything we've had has been great here!! You can tell everything is made with great quality food & fresh. It's nice to be able to eat in the car with the pups or on the patio. The pups love their treats too!! For getting fresh food the wait is never long either.

Doodle Drive-In is a new concept, at least in Cuyahoga Falls. We parked in a regular spot, meaning not car-service parking. We ordered at the window and took our dogs up to the gated eating area. It was about to rain and we had the place to ourselves! We still had to keep our dogs on their leashes, but that's to be expected. The picnic area was very clean!!! As far as the food, we got fried pickles to share and I got a cheeseburger. I don't remember what kind it was but it bigger and better than I expected! It's worth a return trip even if I don't have the dogs.

It's less than a 10 minute drive from downtown Akron but it's off the beaten path. All locals (except me) in here. When I went (10AM Friday) the place was almost full, and I was dining alone, so I sat at the counter, happily next to the kitchen. To look at the kitchen was like looking inside a bee hive, bustling with activity but barely a sound. I could just make out what was being calmly stated "2 Silver Dollar, Salmon, Country Fried, 2 Over Easy..." It was fun to watch, but what was important was the output. It took just over 6 minutes from the time I order until it was sitting in front of me, and everything was perfect! The waitresses were so efficient. I saw my order hit the window and in about 12 seconds it was delivered. They were so customer focused, they were (jokingly) fighting over refilling my tea. When I was done and paid for I waited outside for Uber to pick me up (3 min). I looked back on what I'd just experienced, and snapped a picture of the two parking lots of cars for Fred's Diner. I counted and there were 32 cars at Fred's. OK maybe 10 were staff so 22 cars for customers, let's say on average there were 2 customers per car (remember I walked here so no car for me). By my calculation, Fred's was feeding 44 people every 30 minutes or so. No wonder they're only open 4 days a week and only for breakfast - lunch. I calculate they might serve 3200 meals in those 4 days, and then take 3 days off to get ready for the next week. I love this place. Wish I lived here so I could come more often.

I can honestly say The Blue Door has earned a place among the very best meals I've ever had. What amazed me most wasn't just that every dish was delicious--it was that every single plate had its own identity. Nothing tasted repetitive or safe. Each course was thoughtfully composed with bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and combinations I never would have imagined working together... yet they absolutely did. Beyond the food, every plate looked like a work of art. You could tell the kitchen artists take immense pride in presentation without sacrificing flavor. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed, and every recommendation was spot on. If someone asked me where to experience one of the best dining experiences in Ohio, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I'd tell them to drive to The Blue Door in Cuyahoga Falls. This wasn't just dinner. It was an experience.

It looked like it could have been good if it hadn't have sat out so long before it was brought to the table. Potatoes were cold. Toast was cold. Quiche was cold. There were two of us, and the total for breakfast plus two coffees and tip was more than $70. Portions are huge. Ambiance was nice. Sad it didn't knock it out of the park.
