The owner was there both times we went. The music was fun 90s and early 2000's. The wine was great and it was self pour which always makes service fast!!

Happy to see a locally owned place with a great selection of wine! It's a choose-your-pour wine bar where you get a glass, a card and pick how much pour you want from the wine. So fun! It was the perfect night cap for our anniversary date night. We met the owners and they were pleasant and friendly. Their tiramisu was homemade and quite delicious! Thank you for a lovely evening. We will be back!

Really enjoyed our visit. Bacchus is one of those places where you get a scan card and then you self serve from their wines which are set up in these machines that can dispense a 3oz 6oz or 9oz pours. Prices all very clear on the machines for the various sizes. Boards above give good descriptions on the wines including all the flavor notes. Makes it easy to test out a few before selecting a full glass. We tried the deviled eggs and the Brie. Both were really good and obviously complement the wine. Looks like they have other good food options as well that would all be good to help elevate the wine tasting. Staff were super friendly as well. Only negatives: parking is kind of a pain especially with all the people from the Stillery kind of drunkenly/obnoxiously wandering around. And while they are open till 10pm on Friday/Saturday it pretty much emptied out completely by 8:45pm and it feels weird continuing to hang out if you're the last people left. So while they never intentionally made us feel like we needed to leave it also made us rush out faster than we had planned. 100% coming back, just maybe earlier in the day/evening.

Great wines, fun events, and the food has been surprisingly delicious. Meatballs and the olive tapenade are our favorite. Love that they're open for lunch too. Have to get here more often.

Nice wine selections, delicious bites, and friendly/helpful staff. They offer several wine tasting flights (3-2 oz. pours for $19), as well as by the glass or bottle. There are also several non-alcoholic options, as I was unable to imbibe on this visit. WINE & FOOD: My wife tried three different tasting flights, the Diamond (white wines), the Ruby (red wines), and the Amber (dessert wines). My mother-in-law had a glass of the Moscato D'Asti from Piedmonte, Italy ($13), and I had a non-alcoholic Copenhagen Sparkling Tea ($14) and a Diet Coke ($4). We also tried their Spinach & Artichoke Dip ($15) and the Italian Meatballs ($19) and finished it off with the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake ($13). Everything was delicious and all selections were perfect for the wine flights we paired them with. Bottle prices were reasonable, and we left with all three of the dessert wines, and a bottle of the Arneis. NOTE: I heard that the Turquoise Wine Bar Glendale has recently been awarded Wine Spectator's 2026 "Award of Excellence". Whether you live in the Phoenix area or are visiting from out of town, I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Parking can be a challenge, especially during peak hours. If the main lot is full, you can usually find additional parking in the nearby Costco lot and walk over. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great experience. The wine tasting area is much smaller than the Avondale location, which has a much larger and more spacious setup. During our visit, we learned about the bonus bottle program and received helpful wine recommendations and tasting tips, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. If you're looking for a quieter visit, I recommend going during the week when it's less crowded. My only suggestions would be to expand the wine tasting area and improve the parking situation. Otherwise, it's a great place to enjoy a tasting and learn more about wine!

I had several questions about the cocktails, and he was so helpful in guiding me toward the Hemingway's Muse -- which was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, perfectly balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For dinner, I went with his recommendation of the steak box tots and OMG... so good! The steak was cooked perfectly, and the box tots were these amazing little mashed potato bites with a crispy outside. Absolute perfection. I rarely order dessert, but at this point I trusted his recommendations, so I tried the ricotta lemon stack. Again -- superb. It was definitely more lemon-forward than I expected, but the presentation was beautiful and the flavors were delightful. Even the bathroom was impressive -- such thoughtful little touches, including flossers! The service, food, drinks, and attention to detail made the whole experience feel special. I highly recommend this quaint little spot and already can't wait to go back!

This was my second time here and if I were basing my review on just the first experience, I would…read moregive the establishment 4 stars, but this visit there was a disappointment in a dish and it was handled very poorly by the manager. I will start by saying it's a shame because this place has real potential! The crafted cocktails are the highlight as they are beautiful, original, and tasty. The food is good for the most part, but some items are overpriced. An example is the bisque cheesecake at $15 as it was on the small side, round about the size of a flan. It was presented nicely w berries, but not worth $15. I am from CA and not even there! The main issue I had was with the ricotta, pesto and tomato jam jar. This was more like pesto, with Ricotta. The Ricotta being listed first by any culinary standard should be the main feature. But the tapered dish had a small amount of ricotta at the bottom, about a fourth, then half the jar full of pesto, then top fourth of tomatoes.(see picture). I couldn't even dig down to get the ricotta and the huge amount of pesto was overpowering. I politely brought this to the waitresses attention by kindly saying I wanted to give some feedback and explained the expectation and that there was very little ricotta and hard to get to it. She handed me a spoon and a plate and I tried in front of her to get to it and said that's not working. She did say she would give the feedback to "them", but did not offer to replace it or fix it. Perhaps offering to bring more ricotta? For the rest of the evening she did not address the situation and I only ate two small bites and sent the entire dish back. At the end of the meal when I saw this was added to my bill, which I should add was $84 plus tip, over $100, w ricotta being $18 for just me not including the other two at the table, I asked if anything could be done about the ricotta dish that I did not eat. She said she would ask, but came back and said her manager said no because this was just my preference!! I felt sorry for the waitress. If the wait staff is not empowered to resolve these issues on their own then the manager should have come to the table! I said okay, paid the bill and left. They lost a repeat customer!! **Contrary to what management stated below, no accommodation was offered or made besides handing me a spoon and a plate. Also, the promise to discuss w mgmt was not followed up on until I received the bill and reminded the waitress which felt like avoidance, 1.5 hours after I sent the dish back. Perhaps there is a communication breakdown or misunderstanding, but my issue was the excessive amount of pesto (a sauce) and small amount of ricotta. Management prefers to argue and defend (without the facts) vs find a solution and humbly accept feedback. I am a manager myself in the luxury market...and customer feedback is at the heart of growth.

Both pizzas were interesting. The Lichfield Park pizza has pesto sauce and corn on it, as well as cheese, so you might get a slice of that after your "guests" scarf their first helping. You better grab a slice of the Brooklyn pizza right away, though, because it's a traditional-looking pizza with pepperoni and sausage. You won't get a second shot at a slice. You'll get to finish the rest of the "adult" strawberry & bacon salad, though, with spinach instead of lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, and bacon bits. It doesn't come with ranch or even ranch-colored dressing, so they might not risk trying a pinkish salad dressing as a dip for their pizza crust. It's a very good salad and helped my vacation digestion, since I'm not used to the 110° August heat. Papa Paul's Pizza is less than a mile away from my room at the Wigwam. Going there would even be walkable in the summer heat if the fences around the Wigwam had pedestrian gates. As it is, both driveway gates on that corner of the Wigwam are slotted through the perimeter fence far from the place where Papa Pauls and the resort are just across the street from each other. I'm too delicate for a 0.9-mile walk in that much sun. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to rehydrate, though, while I waited for the pizzas to come out of the oven.

Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.
