Was at Bacchus a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Welcoming environments - both inside and on the patio. I appreciated the coordination and customer touch-points the owners - Jack and Kat - handled all night long. Just the two of them. It was impressive. The place wasn't overcrowded, however the traffic was consistent, and the live music kept the patio patrons engaged and dancing. Impressive variation of wines, reasonably-priced appealing menu items, and overall ambiance were thoroughly enjoyed. Great for couples or groups. To cap it all, Kat and Jack displayed genuine down-to-earth personas and that, was a joy to experience! I recommend Bacchus in Goodyear AZ! read more

What a wonderful find! The owners were both here and very chatty, warm, customer focused and informative. The wine selection exceeded my expectations. Beautiful whites and reds. We had the warm Brie with honey which delighted our tastebuds. Finishing the night with a spectacular tiramisu - fine restaurant quality. I do not rave about businesses unless I genuinely mean it. My girlfriend turned 60 this month, and we hosted her celebratory brunch at Bacchus from 11:30-1:30. Twenty women were kept very happy! The food was wonderful, and the bottomless wine and champagne were a huge hit. Our party was held on the patio, which provided a fantastic atmosphere for our get-together--relaxed, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating. The inside is super cute and they have a spacious patio. We were a larger group so we were on the patio- it did get quite warm out there as there's no fan or misters. The wine dispensers are super easy to use, but can add up (ordering a bottle is a better deal). The food menu has some bites/sharing apps, but def not a dinner spot. The staff were friendly, but busy and took a while for them to service our table. read more

I have wanted to check this place out since they opened and I am so glad I finally got the chance. We were wondering how it all worked but the owner did a great job of asking us what types of wine we like to drink and don't like and how the machines work to issue your wine with a card. Happy to see a locally owned place with a great selection of wine! It's a choose-your-pour wine bar where you get a glass, a card and pick how much pour you want from the wine. So fun! This was so much more than we expected. Jack gave us a tour and had great stories about the amazing art pieces. The decor is beautiful. Love the wine barrel tables and his Grandmothers old fashion Hamm Radio. The wine was incredible and it was fun to be able to self dispense. You pay by the ounce so you can try several before you decide. It can get expensive but it was a great experience. read more

Really enjoyed our visit. Bacchus is one of those places where you get a scan card and then you self serve from their wines which are set up in these machines that can dispense a 3oz 6oz or 9oz pours. Prices all very clear on the machines for the various sizes. Boards above give good descriptions on the wines including all the flavor notes. Makes it easy to test out a few before selecting a full glass. We tried the deviled eggs and the Brie. Both were really good and obviously complement the wine. Looks like they have other good food options as well that would all be good to help elevate the wine tasting. Staff were super friendly as well. Only negatives: parking is kind of a pain especially with all the people from the Stillery kind of drunkenly/obnoxiously wandering around. And while they are open till 10pm on Friday/Saturday it pretty much emptied out completely by 8:45pm and it feels weird continuing to hang out if you're the last people left. So while they never intentionally made us feel like we needed to leave it also made us rush out faster than we had planned. 100% coming back, just maybe earlier in the day/evening. read more

The owners, Jack and Kat, carefully select 24 outstanding wines which are constantly rotated out, for a new batch of wonderful wines, so you are never bored with the same ones. What sets this wine bar ABOVE most of the others, is that you can select a 1 ounce or 3 ounce pour( in addition to a full pour), so you can sample many different wines in one visit. In addition, the small plate food from deviled eggs, to meatballs, cheesecake,etc, are all very tasty. The service is top-notch, with server Shay, leading the way. There is plenty of parking right outside, and also a well- lighted parking garage right across the street. Everyone working here is just so nice and helpful, it is a total pleasure to keep coming back again and again. For a long time the west valley has been a cultural wasteland. Over the last couple of years it has come alive. One of the real surprises had been Bacchus Wine Bar. My wife and I visit often because, well, frankly the owners are the best. Bacchus offers wine to taste or by the glass with its state of the art dispensing system. Love the concept...self serve wine tasting! You give them your credit card when you arrive and they give you a card to scan at the wine dispensers, and the machine dispenses three sizes, a "taste", a small pour and a large pour. It's brilliant. When you are finished you settle up and go. Simple. The variety of wines is awesome and constantly changing and evolving. The owners are engaging, super knowledgeable and very friendly! The food is very good, especially liked the deviled eggs and charcuterie board, and my wife enjoyed the assorted chocolates for dessert. The decor is very nicely done. Especially cool are the old Zinfandel vines that the owner has hung on the walls, they are beautiful. Bar seating is comfortable and plentiful. We will be back and will spread the word to our friends. This is the kind of "mom and pop" local business that I love to support! read more

We've visited Bacchus a few times now and have had a great experience every time. The wine and food are very good and we love being able to sample various wines before committing to a glass. The concept really works for us and we like the decor and ambiance. We also found buying wine by the bottle to take home to be competively priced.
