Our waiter was attentive, but my wife asked for the bottle of wine we ordered to be chilled before it was brought out. When it arrived, it was delivered in an ice bucket which I initially thought was cool, but the reason it was in an ice bucket was because it was not pre-chilled as requested. The food was excellent as always, but we were both disappointed by the very small menu. We had been there only a few weeks ago and the menu was two pages with many more selections. There were at least 3 burger options on the old menu, and was surprised to only see the Wagyu burger on the new one (the most expensive of the 3 btw). I really liked the one I ordered previously and wanted to order again, but it was not on the newer single page menu. My wife also found her favorite salad (a one with beets missing). Need to up their game.

Love the quaint space perfect for inside and outside dining and relaxing with a cocktail. The…read moreservice is spectacular, very attentive no matter if you are seated at the bar or tables (inside or outside.) The variety of wine is great. Plenty of beer options too. If you really need a cool down, we recommend the wine slushies. We loved the strawberry sangria slushy but the frase (rose') slushy was good too. The shareable food options and specials were great. We enjoyed a charcuterie board and a flatbread. Others had sandwiches. No disappointment. We are excited we found a neighborhood space we can frequent and meet up with friends, new and old. Love, love, love Sip at the Ranch

Everyone else chooses the barstools and hightop tables or the patio. We were only outside once, when my ankle was broken and it was tough to get around. But, I digress. Maybe the cozying adds to the delight of our foodie experience at Sip. We don't drink but they make a lovely Shirley Temple that compliments all that chef-made goodness. Her menu is always shifting and we love the creativity. One of the mainstays, though, is the meatball appetizer. The beef is tender and flavorful and the homemade marinara as complimented by a perfect cheese pull. We'll get that and one other item - a charcuterie board, bread and/or veggies and a dip, or some other interesting app. Sometimes we get a salad, but order dressing on the side because we like it light. As lovely as Sip is, I don't know if people are impractical or enamored enough to drive a half hour up a mountain to enjoy that tiny establishment. So, it feels like a happy place to be around locals. Estrella is growing but not so much that we've ever felt crowded out at Sip. It's homey and warm and a relaxing place to feel at home, on our special couch. Please don't sit at our couch. lol

She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

3/21/26 We returned and it is as good as we remember. The…read moreservice was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night. The ONLY thing we would give a 3 star was the prosciutto wrapped pears. The pears were closer to an apple with a crunch and had almost no pear flavor. Everything else was an absolute 5 star, the charred carrots and steak skewers being our favorites. But the bread was amazing too! Definitely, a must go!

We called just to be sure and were told the only place they had for our party of six was on their couches. We took it and when we got to the restaurant, I was worried about my elderly parents eating over a coffee table and expressed my concerns with the owner who was hosting at the time. She so kindly managed to move some reservations around, (they were full), in order to seat us at a table. That meant the world to me, and for my parents!! The old fashioned cocktails were incredible and the food--oh my goodness!!! Our party of six shared about 5-6 options and each one was absolutely fabulous!!! We all were plenty full and greatly enjoyed our evening there! They also had a one man live music performer, I didn't catch his name but he was a perfect choice for the venue and ambience! We will definitely be back often, and are so thrilled to have a place to go for a dressy and romantic, yet laid back, evening!! Can't wait to try more food options--it all sounded amazing!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!
