You have about two feet of room between the field and the wall, so that during games you play off the walls. The locker rooms are clean and have lockers, showers, toilets and some room to change, though they are extremely hot. There are more rooms at CATS, like a ballet room and kitchen, but they're not accessible during volley nights. I would actually give the gym itself 3 stars since it doesn't allow for competitive play, but the atmosphere and the great people sure deserve 5 stars...which brings it to a solid 4-star volleyball place.

It was all of our favorite show we had ever seen. Zero complaints. The theatre is tight and on the third balcony you have to do a lot of body maneuvering throughout the show to see all of the stage. That is typical for the top balcony. My complaint is the three women ushers on that balcony on that date were the worst theatre ushers I have ever seen. They were rude to everyone they spoke with. When patrons would ask them a question, after they walked away they would talk loudly about the patron and mock them while laughing with each other. Where we were sitting we got to hear this over and over. Then the show starts and they keep talking. They talked through the ENTIRE show. After the show, I told them they were literally the rudest ushers I had ever met. I waited two days to make sure I felt strongly enough to make this complaint public. I looked for an email for the palace or Lost Boys management. They should secretly watch these women to see if they continue this bad behavior or if they made a change for the better.

The staging was carefully considered, and each scene highlighted nostalgic moments from the film. If you've seen the movie, you'll be sure to love this show, especially the music. The atmosphere was charged with excitement with theater goers, who had more than likely seen this show multiple times. The audience enthusiastically supported the actors, and the actors thrived on the love shown. It feels good to celebrate artists who have accomplished something great! The production was stellar and I might have to go see it again! Some things to consider: the seating in the balcony can be a bit iffy depending on how tall the person is in front of you. I am on the shorter side, so my knees touching the seat in front of me wasn't an issue. That being said, I would recommend spending the extra money to sit within the first three rows of the MEZZ C F for better unobstructed views, or for the majority of the show, you'll end up having to lean forward. When exiting the balcony, several flights of stairs weren't expected. If you have high heels, body aches, or issues with being in closed spaces, choose seating on the main floor to bypass the congestion. Lastly, there were times when I wanted to see more of some things and less of others, but one thing I appreciated was how it all came together. Hearing members of the audience stating that they couldn't wait to go home and watch the movie again was definitely a heartwarming moment. If you haven't seen it, you should!

I saw this show many years ago, and I recently got to visit again, this time bringing my family along. I couldn't wait for my kids to see it. It was my son's first Broadway show and he was absolutely mesmerized. I made sure to get Orchestra aisle seats so we could see the animals making their way down to the stage for the Circle of Life and for other parts of the show. We were sitting right where the enormous elephant comes down and it was incredible to see. Speaking of the Circle of Life, it gets me SO emotional every time! I grew up loving The Lion King and this show just does it so much justice. The production value is to die for. The lighting, the scenery, the way they play with perspective. It's just all so amazing. And the singing? And the acting? I can just go on and on. I also love how they added "They Live in You" into this production, along with "Shadowland" and "Endless Night." It is so touching and moving. It's a great show to take your children to. I know it can be pricey, and there never really is a good deal per se, but if you are able to swing it and get tickets, you won't be sorry you did.

We received a run down on how the machine works, learned how to thread the machine and how to fill the bobbins. Then we made a denim tote bag. This was super easy and really fast. After lunch break is the 2nd project. If you don't have your fabric, the school can sell you fabric directly inside for $16 a yard. I bought my fabric elsewhere and brought it in. I honestly recommend doing this instead of buying it from them. Because you have to wash your fabric like how you wash your laundry regularly since it shrinks naturally. We picked our patterns and I made a skirt since a skirt is faster than pants. They recommended not to make pockets or else I'll run out of time. But I HAD to add pockets. Women's clothing have little or no pockets regularly. The instructors are extremely helpful and friendly. and they immediately notice if someone is struggling or stuck. This really impressed me. For example, when I was threading the bobbin, the spool of thread was running out. The teacher was immediately behind me with a brand new spool of the same color so I can swap it out when it was finished. That was a great eye for detail! Overall, highly recommend. Just bring in your own 3 yards of cotton fabric, already washed and dried, for the 2nd project!
