While traveling to Washington State, we stopped in Rogue River, Oregon, to fuel up and grab a bite to eat. We decided to try Baci's Pizza, and we're so glad we did! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it absolutely blew us away. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It was one of those meals that exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant had a charming, welcoming atmosphere. One of the coolest things was seeing the kitchen staff and servers genuinely enjoying themselves while working. You could tell they take pride in what they do and truly enjoy being there, which made the experience even better. If you're passing through Rogue River or live in the area, we highly recommend stopping by Baci's Pizza. Great food, great people, and a great experience. Called for pizza, expected it to be scolding hot when I got home and it was not even hot. There's no sauce to speak of. The dough is not cooked. We have to put it back in the oven and add some sauce to it to make it edible. Very sad, I was expecting much more from these people. read more

We love Baci's for their fresh pizzas! Located in Rogue River, they are handy for use when we're craving a delicious pie. Was a fan for years.. last 3 pizza I have order this year have been terrible. Pepperoni with mushrooms..not a hard one to make. Kept going back thinking maybe it was just a fluke. But this pizza took the prize for total lack of a good product. The preparers obviously do not care or take pride in serving a quality product. We had the fettuccini Alfredo, and it was amusement park quality. We waited for over 30 minutes for that wasn't fully cooked and barely seasoned. The proportions were huge so i guess that was good and the take home containers are nice. The store feels like a regular pizza place with the small arcade. Stayed in Rogue River , Oregon last night at the Best Western across the river. They recommended a few restaurants so we went the Pizza route. Had a large veggie pizza and it was absolutely fabulous. Crust was well done, somewhat thin yet fully cooked, and the mix of toppings was generous but not over the top. We asked for a few extras (ranch dip, marinara, etc) and their hospitality felt like family. If you stay anywhere near this place or are passing through, it is worth the stop. read more

Better off with Stoffers. the cab wine was warm and served in a small white wine glass. The meal was served after ordering in about 45 minutes. My lasagna was barely warm. My wife had a salad from the bar and she repeatedly had to remind them to refill the lettuce as they were out -- took awhile. She had spinach ravioli and again not fresh made -- bad again. We recently moved to Rogue River and we have eaten here 2 times in 2 days. The first night we called at 8:45 and asked if we could still get a pizza since they close at 9:00 they said yes! So we went in and there were 3 employees one on break and 2 cooking. I love the pizza. Yes it took 40 mins for two mini pizzas. The service was ok. But the place was disgusting. We had to sit at a table that still had dishes on it. I'm not kidding when I tell you that every table had leftovers on it. I wasn't goin to complain but now my husband and I are having as what someone explained in a previous post "digestive issues" it's the only thing we had to eat today. I did notice there was no handwashing in between the grabbing of the phone and the cashier back to the pizza making. I can't blame only the workers. But the staff definitely needs a leader on duty. I want to come back of course but something needs changed. I hope no one elses experience is the same. I'm also aware that there was a party in the back room. But wheres the staff??? We stopped in on 3/11/18, a sunday eve. At first look the place did not have a clean table and there was a line of a couple people to order before us. There were at least 4 people working. When it was our turn to order we were warned that it would be 40 min wait for food. We decided to have a beer and a glass of wine while we wait. Only one person was able to serve alcohol so they said it might be a moment. When we turned to find a table all tables were being bussed and cleaned. Our drinks came immediately. The line to order food kept growing and the people working we're were a well tuned /oiled machine. I wanted to get another glass of wine and even though the line had grown, I went to the counter, set down the empty glass with a $20 asked for another glass when they could bring it. The change came back immediately with the glass of wine to follow. The pizza was at our table exactly 40 min later even though the line never let up. It was done perfectly!!!!!!! My husband is a chef and I am a waitress and have both worked in the restaurant business over 30 yrs. We are both extremely impressed with the professional approach, friendliness, and quality of food even though under extreme pressure. We have been coming to this little town of Rogue River for close to 20 years now and we always eat at Baci's. SOOO grateful Al and his wife chose to purchase it and keep it going. We ordered a Calzone from baci's on 6/8/19 And after driving home we opened up the foil and found our "Dinner" was about 2/3 cooked! Raw dough and it was missing all signs of cheese. I drove the 5 miles back and returned it, I told them the dough was raw and there was no cheese. The manager(?) told me that there was cheese but it distributes during cooking, I challenged her opinion so she dug down to the cheese less bottom as I listened to her babble. I had to point out that what she called cheese was again, raw dough. I let them off pretty easy and just asked for my money back and ordered a pizza from Abby's which was great! We arrived at our hotel in this cute town and looked for somewhere to eat and get a beer. The hotel suggested Bee Gees so went there. We sat for 10 minutes after they said 'I'll bring you menus " and continued to walk by our table 3 times with no further acknowledgment. There were 4 tables in the restaurant. Sooo we left and googled wine. Baci's came up and low and behold they were right next door. We are so glad Bee Gees ignored us because we had the best time with the young staff that served us. Amber was amazing and smiling while interacting with the other customers. I being in the business was impressed at her kindness. All the other staff was very friendly too but I didn't get their names. The food was really good! My sub sandwich was huge and I bought it back to my room for a midnight snack. My husband had the meatballs and pasta and ate the whole thing! The ambiance was a casual pizza joint with 3 TVs so we could watch football which was already on. Cold beer and a small wine selection which is normal for a pizza joint. We will definitely go back and enjoy the fun service and great food at Baci's! After visiting Ken's Artisan Pizza in Portland, OR, I have become rather a snob about great pizza. Baci's is not great pizza. It is not my style at all. Doughy crusts, gobs of ingredients, and a very acidy base sauce. We ordered a Mediterranean Pizza, which sounded good. Fresh Spinach, Garlic, Chicken, ricotta, sundried tomatoes, and cheese on top. Now this sounded much better than it tasted. I would have liked the combination in moderation, but it was piled high. Some folks think this makes good pizza. I think it is like serving a casserole on a crust. The dough is very ordinary. So starting with so so base, and piling on a heap of stuff might make your kids happy, but this is not "adult" pizza.
