Fantastic breakfast burrito and smoothie. Despite seeming understaffed they provided fast service. I was impressed.

If 10 stars was a option it would be 10! Great spot for breakfast! Never misses! Can get very busy so make sure to go early. Food is amazing, me and my husband always make sure to stop when in killington. Besides the food, the actual reason for this review, Alex runs the show! We went on a very busy Friday, she was the only one working besides the cooks, and what a treat she is! She is a one women show. She does everything you can imagine.. all with a smile and such kindness! We were lucky enough to sit next to TWO of her regular parties. We got to talking, the larger table which was a family said they used to make their rounds to all the local breakfast spots and since they met Alex they come here every time they eat out.The children love her, she remembers them and their food. While talking to this family the group of older folks speaks up about how she always remembers their orders/drinks. The older folks said they used to go to another restaurant down the road and they too now only come here!! They said this Friday was mild busy compared to others but they all raved about her! We came the following Saturday. This time she had helpers, we sat relatively quick and we're met with the usual coffee, water, and smile. My biggest note from this day is all the staff were busy, including little miss Alex, but when I tell you everyone of the staff were going to her for one thing or another I mean all staff!! Normally I would expect frustration or a waitress so busy to blow them off.. she made time for each and every one of them and helped them! While still doing everything she was doing. It's very rare to see someone hold their composure in situations as such. She was kind and helpful to all! Staff and customers! Went back again today.. as we are leaving she is carrying this moms bag to her car because she had her hands full with a baby in a car seat and a running kiddo. Long story not so short this place has the best food but make sure to ask for Alex! Your experience will be great regardless but she's a sunshine in this dark world. Great breakfast spot. Everything is fresh and homemade. Last time we were here there were 6 of us (all adults). We had pumpkin pancakes, eggs with bacon and home fries, chocolate chip pancakes, and order of amaretto French toast and a fruit yogurt parfait. We all raved about how delicious our meals were. We sat outside since we're not from here and the Mountain View's were beautiful and it's fall.. we got French toast which was amazing and an omelette special that had bacon, apple, cheddar and a drizzle of maple syrup. Meh. Not sure what the good reviews are about. It's an ok greasy spoon but nothing really to jump up and down about. Packaged land o lakes butter, processed syrup (I can get real syrup for more $), environmental disastrous half n half little creamers and the pancakes are meh average. It's a fine diner like joint but not the kick arse VT pancake house I wish it was. No local ingredients, in 2015??? Come on. Prices are on point for what you get but I'd pay more for higher grade local ingredients and another server to manage the AM rush. Also the always have this one overly hyper loud waiter who always seems to be on the verge of a heart attack. He's nice enough but the overbearing one man show is a little stressful to take on first thing in the AM. It took him 20 mins to bring us water which he brought us in two trips, I guess he has an issue with using a tray? Ps the peanut butter pancakes are gross. Definitely don't get them. read more

Mediocre at best. Our party had two separate egg dishes. Lots of food with each dish but lacked any originality. The potatoes were under cooked and huge for a home fry side. Friendly staff and fast. I'd stick with the pancakes, they looked great from our neighbors table. read more

This place was great! My friend and I wanted both awesome food and a drink. We got incredible cranberry and blueberry French toast, a sausage, gravy, biscuit on special, mimosas, special coffees, etc. ALL FANTASTIC. Satisfying but nothing that blew me away. Major pros: -Cute atmosphere with that log cabin feel you probably want if you're in vt -Several unusual items on the menu... One of my brunch pet peeves is how many restaurants offer the exact same 10 dishes (egg sandwich, Benedict, pancakes, bla bla bla). This place had at least 3 or 4 creative and unusual choices, both savory and sweet. - Fast friendly service Not 5 stars because I found it a tad overpriced and the flavor was just ok, nothing to write home about. read more

A place for everyone!! Friendly staff, bar or table seating and an amazing menu. My favorite item on the menu is the Amaretto French Toast with warm maple syrup. You will be seated with a smile and serviced in a timely fashion. This is a hot spot but they do a great job getting you in and out as quickly or as slowly as you want! My experience has been nothing but stellar! Great breakfast sandwiches, omelets, popovers, and did I mention the Amaretto French Toast?? And the staff!!! One would think that Dan is the owner, but he's not. I have never seen someone take such Pride in their job. I hope the owners appreciate all he does! read more

We decided to come here for breakfast on New Years Eve, and I'm so glad we did! We arrived around 7:30 and had our choice of seating. Coffee and water was prompt, and our waiter gave us the full rundown for specials as we were sitting down. The ambiance was really cool - combo of diner and winter lodge, and we also really liked whatever music playlist was on (country/pop). Our food came out fast, huge portions for a good price, especially considering it's a ski town and prices tend to be inflated. If we ever go back to Killington, we would definitely come back here again. read more

Absolutely LOVED the breakfast here. The server was incredibly nice (and apparently owns bulldogs, so how could one go wrong), kept the coffee full and had our plates out quickly! Average place. We tried country omelette and portobello omelette. Pros - quantity. A standard omelet plate consists of 3 eggs omelette with chosen stuffing, home potato fries and two slices of buttered bread. Very filling. Cons - taste. Lack of seasoning. You can't taste anything as such. Very rare in Vermont considering the fresh and quality ingredients. Very disappointing. Service needs improvement too. read more

Walked in and was immediately greeted and they took care of all 11 of us easily! Dan was amazing, he made the BEST Bloody Mary we have ever had, and we've had a lot of them in our experience. BCC was our savior earlier today after we had a bad experience at Drewski's. Got here around noon after calling ahead down the road and our table was ready for us by the time we got there. Hot coffee was served promptly with a big bowl of creamers (which they kindly refilled for us after we proceeded to use them all). Our service continued to be spectacular throughout the rest of our meal. Super reasonable prices; a side of meat was only $2.75 - good thing since we ordered them all! My brother said it was the best bacon he ever had. However, the corned beef hash was just okay. Definitely opt in for the VT hot sauce sampler, totally worth it! The maple hot sauce was the crowd favorite. The portion sizes are huge! I was only able to eat half of my awesome Asiago scramble and brought the rest along for the road trip home. read more

Party of 7, all our meals came out at different times. Cold raw sausage and raw pancakes; empty coffee cup for 10 minutes before being offered a re fill. No butter or syrup offered for pancakes, had to walk up to the counter and get it ourselves. read more

Yea, that hit the spot. Seven boys went in, seven men came out. A truly humbling experience.

Well it started off ok. We were offered a seat at the bar with a 6 yo or wait for a table about 15 min. Not the worst thing. There was a group ahead of us so we actually opted for the bar. Why not. We were met by a pleasant bus and then the drink girl came by. So far so good. We watched in awe as a very young man was leading the one man kitchen. Very impressive. He couldn't have been more than 20!! Then the 15 minute wait to see a waitress. We were ignored until about the 12 min mark when one waitress said she would be back after dropping off the order she had. We watched her drop then go table to table for whatever else anyone needed. Still ignoring us. Finally a different waitress came at the 15 min mark and apologized for the wait and took out order. Now we wait. As we wait it appears the first waitress is more obsessed with her tickets than getting food ordered and out. One plate has sat in the window for 5 minutes now. Maybe they saw me writing but they seemed to step up their game a little. And I do mean little. The food came out. And to be honest it's not the chefs fault. He needs help. He works his ass off. But here goes. The waffle was very dry. Crumbly. Over cooked. The pancakes where small and also over cooked. Nice flavor though. My poached eggs were, you guessed it. Over done. My wife's omelet was average at best. So here's my thought. The chef can't do it all. He needs some help. And I bet the food would be awesome. Because you can tell he cares. Anyway for the rest of the day we felt like lead balloons so we won't be going back. read more
