    Pumpkin pancakes with cream cheese

Got seated immediately on a Sunday morning around 10am during ski season. The restaurant was quite busy and it look awhile for our server to take orders and even more time for our food to come out. Once we received it, the meal was delicious! If you're a coffee person they really only serve pot coffee, just fyi Main critique is the longer than normal wait times to get orders in and receive food.

I'm sad ! We were soooooo beyond excited to return to this place after visiting last year. I was actually staying at the hotel directly behind it ! I ordered the same thing as last year and I had been counting down the days to trying it again. Unfortunately it didn't come close to being as good. I will say that part of the service was great. It seems like they were understaffed again. The kitchen was definitely backed up and the food was sub par. The flavors were there but the preparation was just off. Bummer !! Sorry guys !

Overall good eats, large portions, and fair prices. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Our boys split the pancakes with strawberries (comes with two) and I ordered a side of bacon. They polished it off, a 6 and 8 year old. So not too much food. We tried two of the daily specials: the popover and sausage gravy dishes. Both were a lot of food that we could not finish. Husband liked his popover breakfast. The habanero maple jam it cam with sounded good. The popover looked a little over-baked, but I did not try it. My sausage gravy was just ok, and the fam agreed that I make it better in my own kitchen. The biscuit looked over-baked and was very salty. I knew since I am not down south, the sausage gravy may miss the mark, but I figured why not try it and be pleasantly surprised. This is a popular and busy little joint.

I ordered the poached eggs with corned beef hash. My eggs were perfect. The hash was crazy spicy hot and not what I expected. I didn't like it but my husband enjoyed it. He had an omelette with hash browns. The service was good with multiple refills of coffee and iced tea. The restaurant was rustic and clean. I would recommend coming here.

This was the PERFECT breakfast after a long weekend on the slopes. Hit up this spot early in the morning with about a 5 minute wait. The food was delicious and came out super quick. 10/10 recommend and hope to visit again soon!

I love this place! I have been here multiple times and have always have had a great customer experience. I recommend trying the Mascarpone strawberry French toast, it is my favorite! Cute little place, and in a great location in the Killington area. Prices are good too. 10/10 recommend!

If you're here for a snowboarding trip with your friends and you wanna eat breakfast before you shred some snow, GET YA BREAKFAST FROM HERE! WHY?! 1. Affordable (NOT OVERPRICED) 2. Great service 3. Gooooooood food 4. Ima say it again ITS AFFORDABLE All the restaurants I've been to here in Killington have been overpriced IMO. Not this place! My friends and I are planning to go back to eat there tomorrow morning again! Big daddy omelette (4/5) the steak was a little bit chewy but you know it's steak. The omelette had flavor and it was HUGE!! It was a big ole portion. Can't complain about that. Belgian Waffles w/ strawberries and whipped cream (4/5) okay this wasn't the best Belgian waffle that I ever had but it wasn't badddd. The strawberries were really really fresh! We actually ordered ours with marscapone instead of whipped cream! Corned beef hash (5/5) really good! Lots of flavor! Good source of carbs and protein! Really good meal before going out to snowboard/ski. Service (5/5) our waitress was PHENOMENAL. She got everything that we asked for while serving multiple tables! She was quick. Super nice. I truly loved her. Hot chocolate (4/5) it wasn't super chocolatey like Godiva hot chocolate but it was pretty decent! If you're craving it, get it!

LOVED the Banana Bread French Toast. I got five large pieces of banana bread dipped in egg and covered in cream cheese. It honestly didn't even need the cream cheese, the bread was so good on its own. It was also great the next day cold. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes also came with a generous serving and equally as delicious. The Johnny was their form of Eggs Benedict. The ham was bigger than the English muffin that it was on. They also serve Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Irish Coffee for those looking to boozy brunch.

Family of 5 visiting on vacation...return visitors…read more All of the breakfast food was very well prepared and had great taste. The Sugar & Spice pancakes are always a must have for my son. I had an omelet off of the Specials menu with Pineapple, ham and mozzarella...Basically a Hawaiian Pizza but in an omelet. Very good, if you like Hawaiian Pizza. The home fries didn't have much color to them but we're actually cooked through and tasted good With a nice texture. The only draw back was our server, while efficient, had like in the way of people skills. Every interaction was as short as possible. Not bad, just not good. Lots of items to shop for if you are a tourist.

We finally decided to try out S&S and I found it good, but not worth the 5 stars everyone gives it pancakes = well cooked, round, pretty standard. don't get 4 pancakes unless you want be in a pancake induced coma. also, they put a literal small ice cream scoop size of butter on the pancakes. Only IHOP does that and it's way too much butter. If you are eating all of that butter, you might need an extra dose of lipitor. Toast = kind of boring S&S pancakes = kind of tasted like pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Home fries = those were good I was there with two 16-year olds who both thought the food was "mid". I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean". They sell a lot of baseball hats and t-shirts.

The sugar house coffee was a standout. Rich, smooth, and exactly what you want on a cold Vermont morning.
