Had heard great things so decided to give it a try. The beers were adequate but nothing show stopping. We had the Bongwater IPA and the Hopping Fruits sour. You could tell what each was supposed to be but it was very much an IPA flavored IPA and a sour flavored sour even though it advertised more flavor. We ordered the sliders and chicken wrap and the food was good but felt it was a little expensive on the food side for what you get. It cost us $70 for two beers and two sandwiches so it was not what we expected to spend at that kind of venue.

Always a great meal at Back River Brewery... Great smoked meats and chicken Not to mention fantastic brewed beer too! We try something new every time & great views watching the container ships coming around the island to the Savannah River

Hidden gem on the main beach drag! The food was great, the beers incredible and the service was amazing. It's a cozy and intimate atmosphere with a handful of tables around the bar the frames the window looking out towards the Atlantic. It has great beer. Seriously, they've surpassed most all of the other Savannah breweries in my opinion and I go there usually twice a year to visit family. Highly recommend this place, you will enjoy it!

I went here with my brother for a late lunch. It was a little confusing getting to the brewery being that when you enter the building, there's another restaurant on the first floor and to get to the brewery you have to go up the stairs. When entering the brewery, you could definitely tell that it's a dive bar, which is neither here nor there. We were greeted promptly and the bartender/waitress was very attentive and checked on us quite a bit. My brother got beer and I got the rum punch to drink and we split an order of the brisket quesadillas. My drink was pretty strong and good. I don't know if I exactly like the Boba tea bubbles on my drink, but it definitely made for an interesting presentation. The brisket quesadillas were really good they were flavorful and a little spicy which I enjoyed. Overall, I liked the food and my drink, and the service was good.

We stopped in here for some food and so I could try the beer. They did have lemonade for the kids, and not surprisingly for the area, there were several families there on the Wednesday night we ate there. My kids are pretzel bites, which they were happy with. My wife had the veggie quesadilla and I had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. I was impressed with the quality of the food here. It seemed like a very small business (one guy serving beer and one guy making all of the food) and it's location was deceiving in terms of the food quality one might expect. They are very lucky to have this chef. I did try two of the beers and both were pretty good. I would say if you want to try some craft beer on Tybee Island, this is your place. Literally, the only brewery there, which is surprising. But it's a good option. Regarding the food, I wouldn't go there if I was looking for a nice sit down restaurant to eat. But if you happen to be looking for craft beer they also have good food!

Best view at the entrance to Tybee! Good tunes and good beer. Go up the stairs and order the beer cheese pretzel first. You NEED to try the Coconut Cannonball, it's like dessert in a beer tap. I could smell the smoker cooking food on the menu so we came back the next day when we were hungry. You will not regret it. They even have USB charger at the bar tables and an outdoor area.

My wife and I were in Savannah for a long weekend vacation and took a shuttle out to the beach town of Tybee Island. We found that there was one brewery on the island, so I had to try it. It is upstairs over a Mexican restaurant and some locals were smoking on the outside railing. We entered and there are about 8 beers on tap. I ordered a fruity wheat to start, that was really good and an IPA after that. The lady manning the bar was super nice and I bought a couple of stickers to add to my collection. We hung around for about 20 minutes and enjoyed my beer. Cool little place to have a couple of beers on a warm day. They have food as well, but we did not order any. Tybee is a fun little beach town that remined me a little bit of Key West.

They have top-notch customer service from the most kind-hearted staff and the most welcoming and safe spaces to enjoy their food, drinks, and to socialize with friends or strangers. Check out the Taproom and one of there living room vibe spaces. Grab a burger from Crispi. Slide open a window and walk out onto one of the balcony areas. My favorites are their slushes! What grown up kids doesn't like a slushie + alcohol? Two Tides regularly host street parties with vendors and a DJ. I always make sure to be a Slush Fest. I'm pretty sure throwing amazing gatherings and serving drinks is part of their brand commitment. That might be a stretch but community certainly at the heart of this company and it is noticeable! Give them a visit. Order a flight of their brews. Take some cans home. You won't regret it!!!

They have the Slush Festival which is my favorite and also the Sour Fest definitely worth checking out. Everything was delicious! The wings are smoked, which gives them such a good flavor, and both sauces were amazing. The cornbread was soft, moist, and full of flavor. So good! My husband had the Texas Philly with grilled chicken and mac & cheese. The chicken was tender and juicy, and that mac & cheese had some kind of Parmesan crust on top that made it even better. I had the BBQ with coleslaw and dirty rice. The BBQ and dirty rice were delicious and had a lot of flavor. The coleslaw was just okay for me, though. I probably wouldn't order it again. And I HAVE to talk about the Margarita Flight! It was AMAZING! The drinks were bigger than the average margarita flight, and every flavor tasted soooo good. Definitely worth ordering! We sat outside, and they had music playing and fans to keep the area comfortable. It was such a nice atmosphere, and the food and drinks made it even better. Overall, great food, amazing drinks, a nice atmosphere, and a really enjoyable experience! We would definitely come back!

Him and his sidekick Ryan ("Matt Ryan" LOL). Good vibes and a GREAT beer selection too!! I would definitely visit here again when in town. Highly recommend! The business has a small parking lot it shares with other businesses, there is also a small gravel lot beside it that you can park at. If you go at a busy time, parking can be a chore. Upon arrival, the business was busy with both inside and outside seating filled but we were seated immediately at a table with both bench and chair seating that shared the bench with other tables. There is also bar seating and you can sit at a high top that borders the brew stations. It took a few minutes for us to meet our server who took our drink orders. Soda for her and non-alcoholic IPA for me. It took our server a while to bring our drinks and she forgot my IPA so she had to go find it. Once we had our beverages, we ordered our food. We started with the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates - the dates are served on tooth picks and looked great but the blue cheese overpowered the flavor of everything else. My wife ordered the special of the day (not on everyday menu) which was shrimp tacos with a black bean pineapple salsa and house made chips and fries. I opted for the house burger with cheddar cooked medium and chips and fries. It took a long time for our food to come out and after observing our server chatting it with a table of her friends who were behind us, I am pretty sure she may have forgot to order it in a timely manner. When our food came it was auctioned off to us by another team member (no server to be found). My wife's tacos were overstuffed and fell apart. I tried one and the fried shrimp tasted really fishy to me, not like fried shrimp is supposed to taste. My burger was okay but nothing special. Really wanted to like this place but it did not live up to our expectations.
