Yeah this is bad, like really bad. The prices are garbage, I was charged $100 for two earlobe piercings (just one on each side to keep it even mind you) which I think is bullshit, and the "free" jewelry. Of course they advertised they'd be giving us a free ear piercing and I was on board, until at the last moment I realized these jokers were absolute con artists. Literally. It's unprofessional to bulk up the price on something just because you see the opportunity to get some money out of vulnerable girls such as me and my friend at the time. I'm not stupid for paying this much for a piercing since I was jail locked into paying this price after the piercing was done. This place should be ashamed of themselves for overcharging their services because it's unprofessional and should be reported. Though the guys are nice, you slowly find out that they just want your money which of course is how a business should be run. Another fact, I was told if I left a good review I'd get free jewelry and I was like ok fine! I realized this is malpractice and dishonesty to anyone who wants to go here cause I'd be lying to get free stuff which I did, But I'm changing it now after realizing I've been swindled. Don't recommend you go to this place, go to anywhere else in white plains because this company doesn't deserve most people's money for the service they give. Praying that my piercing doesn't get swollen if I don't take care of it with the also overpriced cleaning kit of $40 that they brought down to $10 and I still wouldn't buy it. Worst place ever! I came here to get an 8 gauge earring, worst mistake of my life. They tried to sell me two 6G earrings for $46(I ended up only buying one for $32.50). When I came back, and they swore up and down that had sold me a 8G and pressured me into paying another $15 to put the gauges in. I knew the had gave a 6G because he had to force in my ear. My earlobes were hurting for the whole day. These people are unprofessional and they have no idea what they are doing. If my earlobes blowout, they WILL be the first to blame. read more

Worse place ever!! I got my tragus done here. Let's just say horrible experience!! I bled a lot and your not suppose to. Today I went to addicted to ink in white plans and they are amazing! The lady who helped me told me from the start my tragus was so far back and was at an angel that was going to cause it for a longer healing process and they put the wrong jewelry in my ear! They didn't know English and on top of that the second I went in just going to look the guy the only one who knew English was forcing me to buy something! And let me not mention the prices! They are over charged and very rough they force you to buy extra. My tragus was 100$ for ONE and I spent 60$ on my tragus and helix together at addicted to ink. Don't even waste your time. They were quick to charge me, however, failed to tell me that the piercer, also the manager, was at a tattoo convention in Westchester and had me standing around for more than an hour. So I went to this place this past weekend because it was my first time at the Palisades Mall and I've been wanting to get my tragus pierced for like a week. I read the reviews about this place and since they were bad, I didn't think of even approaching the place. But, I decided to see for myself and went here anyways. First of all the place seemed sketchy and I got a bad vibe from it and from the employees. But I specifically went there to ask questions about the tragus piercings. The piercer Tony I think was his name approached me and my husband asking what I wanted and I asked him about the tragus and he said it was $35 for each ear plus $15 for the piercing. But then he said he'll give me a 15% discount for everything and it'll all come out from $80-89. He said the discount was just for that day. We came back and I decided to get the piercing there anyways despite how sketchy they all looked. The guy in the front desk or whatever was explaining to me the cleaning process and what I needed and showed us 3 bottles and at the end my husband ask how much and he says $30 each! I was like WHAT??!!! The biggest rip off of my life! Everything would've come out to almost $200 and that wasn't going to happen so we said no we can't afford that and that we're gonna go somewhere else to do that and the guy insisted about 3 times until he changed the price and said $30 for everything, which is a much more reasonable price. So in total everything came out to $120, which is much better than almost $200. I give this place 3 stars for a rating because even though the place and the people seemed sketchy and they wanted to rip us off, the piercer was nice and did a good job and everything was clean and in new packages and the healing process for my tragus's has been pretty good. The guy was nice enough but I wanted a hoop and was told no so I was given a stud. The price is insanity and ended up being $130. So for not getting what I wanted that was disheartening. The ring was too big and almost fell out a bunch of times so I went to a local place where I live and my stud was switched out for a hoop. While I was waiting another girl was getting her nose done and she got a hoop and I heard her check out and it was $35. I wanted to scream because it became clear how ripped off i was. Things here are over priced. I did get a nose piercing and I am glad I looked at the reviews before and saw that someone mentioned they give you cleaning products for the piercing as well but they charge- (which I assume they won't tell you until after the job is done ) after I asked what the total would be which came out to almost 120$ for a nose piercing- I decided to go somewhere else. Unfortunately I was there with friends and she was getting a tattoo (which I felt was over priced for just an outline) the piercer (Anthony) kept egging me on to get my piercing and kept "dropping the price" claiming it was a deal. After he agreed to do the whole piercing with jewelry for just 35$ I got it done. Then he went into the process of the cleaning products after I told him I didn't want or need them- I go up to the register and they try to charge me 50 for the piercing and the spray! I ended up leaving with only paying 40$. Point is- it's frustrating and shows how over priced they are because they can "drop the price" and it's very unprofessional of them to constantly pressure their customers to change heir mind.. read more

Nice job on my piercing. Other than that this place sucks. I was ripped off it's way overpriced. I didn't want to buy the extra things to take care of my piercing. It's usually just antibacterial soap mainly or I could've gone somewhere else to get it cheaper. I went here this march to get my bely button pierced. the guy said it'd be $45 for the piercing. Once everything was and done he swiped my mothers credit card and said okay and that will come out to $102. more than double what he had told me. Also whoever pierced my stomach used barley any skin it has not healed (it is now October) and finally rejected. there was less than a centimeter of skin left holding my piercing together. The skin is also dead as it turned black. Overall go somewhere else. anywhere else do it yourself this place is BEYOND unprofessional. read more

Welp. Had to take one of my nipple piercings out because he didn't put the needle in straight... One side was almost coming out of the center of my nipple (no joke). Please get some training for your piercers.. Especially because it cost me $100 in the first place. Also he didn't even tell me he was about to pierce it.. The guy that did my nose piercing was okay, but a rip off doesn't even begin to describe what happened. I told them I just wanted to get my nose pierced, then they go offering three different types of antiseptics ( 2 of which you really don't need, unless you have an infection on the piercing) of which each must cost $50 each. Tack on the price of the nose ring and I nearly paid 200 bucks altogether. they gave me and my friend a "free" ring, but let's be honest, in reality I bought my girl a new nose ring with all the money I spent. Piercing process was easy and dude was a pleasure, however the prices are inexcusable. They haggle with you like crazy. Went back to get it switched out for a ring a month later with a different guy and they made my boyfriend cough up another $20 for a cheap stainless steel type of ring (he didn't explain anything about the type of ring or the size), when they specifically told me they'd do it for free. he took out my stud and put it on the counter and put the other one in, then when I forgot to grab it before I left, he tries to charge me for another stud. I ask why I can't just have the old one back and he says "it's just not good for your skin.".... last time I checked, I don't have to buy a new nose ring every time I decide I want to change it out. So I demanded to have it back and then he finally gives in and lets me have a "free" one, of which I haven't used because the hoop gave me keloids galore. Then I ask how much for the sea salt spray (remembering that I'd just run out) and the dude tries to sell it to me for 30 bucks, to which I laughed in his face telling him that I could just get it on Amazon for 5 bucks. He knocks the price down to 15 and i just buy it. I'll never go there again and I suggest you don't either, and if you do and you get a guy with a hefty accent, as for the spanish guy, he was cool. read more

Sleazy, Unprofessional. They pressure you (even after repeated "no's") to pay $20 for three different products that retail for about $1.95. After they let us pay for piercing, they us the piercer wouldn't be there for a half hour.(this after the piercer present declared he wouldn't --couldn't?--do a septum piercing.) Piercer was not there a half hour later; they told us to come back later. When we did, the sullen guy didn't even introduce himself. A tip cup mounted on the wall in the piercing room says "tips make it hurt less." Case closed. If the embarrassment of entering a corny prefab "rock n roll" boutique in a mall isn't enough to prevent you from trying this place (I was taking a teen because the reassuringly professional Body Ink in Nyack has closed) the bad customer relations will. read more

Who would get a tattoo in the mall anyway? This honestly seems like a poser shop. It's a "rock n roll" boutique playing nicki minaj. I think they intentionally hire people that look like they be in the cast of the jersey shore to appeal to teenagers. Back to the tattoo issue, they have nice looking stencils, but too bad they have so many complaints about their tattoo artist being amateur at best. This is more of a pop boutique. First of all, can I say I'd give this place zero stars if I could. My experience in this store was literally the worst 40 minutes of my young life. My best friend and I went in so that she could possibly get her nose pierced. POSSIBLY being the most important word of the sentence. We went in simply asking for pricing and never got a straight answer. First they had her fill out a paper and then they would give her a price. Then they had her give them her ID so they could give her a price. And THEN they brought her into a tiny room and had her sit in the chair as the man (Anthony) put on gloves and unwrapped a new nose ring, mind you, we simply asked for a price. They told us $51 and change. After going back and forth, my friend agreed to get the piercing but only after being badgered by the employees. Once the piercing was completed, I'm not going to lie, it looks pretty darn good, but that's all her. Afterwards, when we went to pay, the register then said $54.18 but then my pal Anthony nearly doubled the price to $90 which of course we did not agree on. They then told us "what a deal" we are getting and how they are really cutting corners for us. They then dropped the price to $75 out of the kindness of their hearts. At this point, my poor best friend is literally standing there wringing her hands and basically shaking in her boots and they will not comply. They then have the audacity to sarcastically ask "how much are you willing to pay for this" to which I reply the $54.18 (which is STILL more than we initially agreed on). They then pressured us to add $10 more to get Tea Tree oil and that we would not find a better price elsewhere. Listen, I work at a drugstore and I can send you to isle 2 to get a vile of Tea Tree Oil for $5. Finally I straight up told them No, we are paying $54.18 to which the lady behind the counter angrily told us to swipe the card and sign and threw our "awesome deal" of cleaning products on the counter for us. Don't tell me "oh the money doesn't matter, just add this or that to your purchase". Sir. I know what I can and can't afford. If you're not going to read this whole review, just know: they will try their very best to scam you and will be pissed when you don't let them. And furthermore, if your customer is visibly That uncomfortable then you're doing something wrong, and if you can't tell that you're making someone upset and uncomfortable to that extent: you're doing something wrong, and you suck. -4/10 read more

I made the mistake of getting two piercings here and I have to agree with the previous reviews -- the staff is incompetent and extremely unprofessional. For my first piercing, the piercer didn't even listen to me and put in a stud that I did not ask for or want. I had to go back a year later to change it and the same guy who pierced it spent 20 minutes trying to pry out the stud that he put in. I also got my tragus pierced and when it still wasn't comfortable months later, I went to another piercing place to get it removed...it turns out he pierced me with an eyebrow bar. On top of the complete lack of competence among the staff, people are rude and unprofessional. And I think it's weird that haggling is completely acceptable in an actual store. read more

I went in on July 1, 2017 to simply ASK how much getting my helix piercing done would be and a Spanish guy was quick to charge me $60 which includes the earring. I had also asked at a place in Fordham and was told it would be $35 with the earring included. I laughed and said okay thank you and then started to walk away and he quickly asked me well how much did you want it for? and i told him that another piercing place had charged me 30. He said fine fine 30 flat and i was like okay thank you. (I was with my parents and they were already fishy about the place). Another woman asked me to fill out the form and when i was done the piercer was very polite and leaded me into the room. He got the diamond stud which Im not sure is real or not? but pierced it and was quickly done with. When he was explaining the process of cleaning and taking care of the piercing, he said that I had to use the hand soap and then just move it around to disinfect it, I hadn't known whether or not that was true so I chose to believe him and he had said that he would give me the free soap and I was thankful and when we walked out he asked me oh did you pay already? (As he went in the back to get the soap) and since i had i told him yes thank you! and started to walk out of the store after he gave it to me but he had asked me oh would you like the cleaning solution as well? and showed me the bottle of H2Ocean. I REGRET NOT DOING MY RESEARCH BECAUSE THE TALL SLIM GUY CHARGED ME $30 FOR A 4oz BOTTLE WHEN THEY RETAIL FOR $12 ON THE ACTUAL WEBSITE!! Startled I had to borrow money from my mom since i only had $10 and wasn't expecting it to be as high as it was, but he had told me to move my piercing around and that in a month I would be able to change my earring. WHICH I LATER FOUND OUT IS NOT TRUE!! A MONTH IS WAYYY TOO SOON TO BE CHANGING ANY PIERCING!! In total I paid ended up paying either way $60 and only walked out with a cheap stud, overpriced sea salt, tea tree oil (which I think was complimentary?), and the free hand-soap he had so generously given me. Today marks day 4 of the healing process and already I am dealing with redness, irritation, A LOT OF PAIN, and so much anger because I am only NOW finding that I am not the only one. OVERALL PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE BECAUSE I PROMISE YOU IT IS NOTTTT WORTH IT!!! read more
