    Back to Action!

Always a pleasure & look forward to coming here every week... love that I leave here feeling so much lighter & relaxed!

    Stephany G.

Words cannot describe the amazing feeling we felt leaving Dr. Ryan practice. He is not only super cool & Dr. Raymond very attentive. Listened to all the complaints I had it was therapeutic to talk about it. But just amazing work. I can't believe I would have gone out of state for a chiro. When we have this gem of a place here in Tustin, Ca. The adjustment was amazing! Thank you for the relieve & patience. Me and my sister felt amazing. A little sore, feel amazing. Can't wait to go back signed up for 10 more adjustments. We are taking the entire family.

    A H.

Not sure about trusting your body to a chiropractor? Well fear no more! Dr. Ryan is the best! I have been going to chiropractors since I was born and when you find a good one you hang on to him! No worries of losing him to retirement like my last one because Dr. Ryan is young and healthy! His office is welcoming and modern with a healing vibe throughout. Dr Ryan helped me through a major back injury from a car accident in 2016. As an athlete you need to be at your best and with Dr Ryan I am back to action!

The bags are the best for leg recovery. Thank you Dr. Ryan!!

Among the injuries I sustained, the most significant were skull base fractures and fractures of my orbit, which led the emergency doctors to diagnose me with traumatic optic neuropathy. After consultations with maxillofacial specialists and ophthalmologists, I was told I was legally blind, 20/230, and that this was now my life. Devastated, I reached out to Dr. Lin who was highly referred by a longtime family friend. She felt he and his team should see me and offer other opinions. While Western medicine may refer to Dr. Lin as a "physical therapist," I don't think that language fully defines what he does. At our first meeting, he was gentle, attentive, and deeply aware of my condition. His method is difficult for me to fully articulate, but it was unlike anything the physicians I had seen before had provided. Dr. Lin created a treatment plan in collaboration with his in-house acupuncturist, Dr. Park, and the two of them treated me in concert. I visited them about once a month. Dr. Park performed acupuncture targeting specific hemispheres they agreed would be beneficial, while Dr. Lin used manual techniques, pressing, pulling, and adjusting different parts of my face and body. One moment stands out clearly in my memory. As Dr. Park had acupuncture needles placed in the points she selected, Dr. Lin pressed a section of my face under my eye with significant pressure. The instant he released, my nasal passage cleared dramatically. I had been so focused on my vision that I ignored other parts of my body that also needed attention. This is what impressed me most: their understanding of the interconnectedness of the human body, and the way each system affects the next. Even though I came in focused on a single issue, they recognized that other problems could be developing or stagnating and that treating one area would likely set off a domino effect. They addressed everything collectively rather than isolating one symptom. Dr. Park also gave me homework: changes to my diet, foods to avoid, preferred cooking methods, and even the temperature of liquids I should consume. Detailed instructions that had never been offered nor had I considered. Western medicine had only offered me chemical treatments or surgeries to remove or implant. Dr. Lin was one of the few who was relieved I had not had a surgery and was not taking medication. In my most desperate moment, when the reality of vision loss was fresh and overwhelming, they helped keep hope alive. I am happy to say that I have since improved to 20/40 vision. Slowly, every day I feel a little better. I am not claiming that Dr. Park and Dr. Lin performed miracles. What I do believe is that the treatment they provided stimulated something meaningful in my recovery. Maybe I would have healed to this extent without them, maybe not. But I wholeheartedly feel that their treatment encouraged my body to heal itself. I am four months removed from the incident, I have my vision back and I feel great. Recovery is not complete, but I am in a place now that my Ophthalmologist told me never to expect. Thank you to both Dr. Lin and Dr. Park. I could not be more grateful.

I've seen her for prenatal massages, postpartum massages, craniosacral massage, and now monthly I go to her with whatever I feel needs attention. She has been life changing in all of these seasons and massage types! Her knowledge of the body is extensive and she truly listens to the body and knows what it needs! I'll walk in there with shoulder pain and leave with such a relief because she found the trigger point in a completely different part of my body (I wouldn't have even known!). She is also a wonderful person to chat with, but will totally respect your silence if you choose to relax during! The office staff is very sweet and responsive over text - so convenient to not have to call! The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Whether you just want a feel good massage, or you truly have body trauma that needs work - trust me and go see Emily!! I've sent my whole family to her & they all rave about her as well - especially my very picky gym go-er brother who is never pleased with his massages! The nurses in the stroke and cardiovascular unit there were exceptional--compassionate, attentive, and truly wonderful in every sense. Through a coworker, I learned that a family member of hers was already receiving acute physical therapy at Encompass, and she spoke so highly of the professionalism and the facility that I shared it with my siblings. Not sure if manifestation did its magic, but the very next day, Gina, the liaison, reached out to me to confirm our interest in moving forward with the referral. She was warm, thorough, and deeply reassuring, guiding us with clarity and kindness. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the environment: calm, organized, and thoughtfully designed, with each patient given the dignity of a private room. Gina had advised my mother to bring comfortable clothing and activewear, preparing her for the intensity of acute rehabilitation. The nursing staff met every expectation with grace and care. A heartfelt thank-you to Nurses Lupe, Daisy--whom my mother called her "my friend," a name they shared for each other--JP, Tiffany, May, and all the others whose names I may not have learned, but whose presence we felt deeply. The food and cleaning service crew were wonderful in maintaining a clean environment everyday and nutritious meals! My mom loved the food & it definitely provided her more insights on the importance of eating a variety of foods! I wasn't able to attend most occupational therapy sessions since they were held early in the morning before visiting hours at 8am, but I did have the chance to meet Peter and Cassidy. They were grounded, kind, and made my mother feel safe and at ease during her first shower in a week--a moment she described with profound gratitude, calling it "the best shower of my life." And finally, to our main case manager, Nhã Vũ and the physical therapy team Matt Lê, Kevin Lê, and the therapist with the earring who was described as "Kevin's student," (sorry I wasn't there to catch your name) ,Tâm & Christine- each of you left an enduring mark on her recovery. Even those I did not meet were spoken of repeatedly with admiration and warmth. My mother often recalls how one of you said you would care for her as you would your own mother and you did exactly that. There is something powerful in how she continues to remember these sessions. During home PT, she will sometimes pause mid-exercise, laugh to herself, and recount a story or moment from Encompass. Those memories have become part of her healing. We are especially grateful for the diversity within Encompass, and for the Vietnamese physical therapists who played such an important role in her comfort and motivation. Being able to communicate fully and be understood, I believe, made a meaningful difference in her recovery trajectory. She is not yet fully recovered, but she is undeniably on a strong path forward--built on a foundation of skilled care, encouragement, and human connection. On behalf of Cô Phương Lê and my siblings, we extend our deepest gratitude to the entire Encompass team. The level of care you provided was not only professional, but profoundly human.

When my father had a stroke, he was not placed in a good facility, so we were understandably hesitant. However, this center has exceeded all of our expectations. It is clean, well maintained, and the staff is incredibly patient and kind. I truly could not be happier with the care my mom is receiving. Her nurse, Ayelet, is absolutely amazing. She is caring, respectful, and highly knowledgeable. She treats my mother with genuine compassion, and it shows in everything she does. Our family feels confident and grateful for the decision to have my mom at this rehabilitation center.
