Our floors that were guaranteed to last 10-15 years lasted about 2 years. There is whitening in some areas, more shine in some areas and not in others, bubbles and waves where the finish was not applied smoothly and wood pulling away from the wall and showing past the 1/4 round that we needed to install after floors were refinished. The company does not back their employees or their product. I would not recommend them for floor refinishing.

The company came recommended they were prompt, got the bid and started very quickly. I knew the…read moreprice would be higher then expected because of the prep work, which was extensive as our home is older. The back of the house and one side that had T11 was done exactly as it was to be done. The front and side that had lap siding which was where the majority of prep was done we knew would be not as nice, but I expected it to be completed and was not. The workers worked very hard and is why I hate not leaving a great review, which is what I intended. The day they finished I had to leave and did not fully inspect and I should have. It was a busy weekend as well, so I did not notice and issue until three days later. The Gable on one side is painted the other is not. It just the base. In the front and side 4 windows did not have trim. I had already paid, and again my mistake for not doing a full walk around. The did only two in the front not 4, I had to paint the other two myself with the paint that was left. I am not sure what happened. They painted one, skipped one painted another and skipped the next one, the front after realizing it was really bad. That is a stagged paint skip paint skip. ??? The other side where the Gable is, was not painted also has no trim around the windows, ( see pics)and I can not paint those now until its cooler. The Gable is not possible with what I have to do it. Very disappointed, they bid higher then anyone else, but due to solid referral. I thought would be worth the extra. The windows are all the same design and frame, so skipping them made no sense. The one star is only because the gable issue and 4 window trims. Of which two I completed myself. The gable is not specifically listed in the contract, yet it was prepped and base painted, just not the same color trimmed as the one on the other end of the house, which is trim colored??? I speculate a break down of inspecting their work. They had left during the job to do larger jobs, then mine which was fine. But now I feel like my house was a after thought, even though the whole house was to have the exterior painted. I also have lived in the area long enough to know, that it does no good to complain about services once paid. I am embarrassed to even tell the guy that referred us, who was from a major business in the county. But we also paid allot to have the work completed and it was not ,and that is why the one star. Had all the work been done this would have been a 5 star review. But I feel I did not get what I paid for. We knew it would not be perfect, but were expecting completed and they missed too much to rate them higher. Lesson learned inspect before paying anyone. It is quite sad the companies today, paying these prices. One would expect it to be finish.

My kitchen counters were avocado green tile with a maroon border, circa 1952. And the Grout had been "touched up" with some kind of maroon paint. They were beyond ugly. So on the advice of my realtor I contacted Ken for a quote. The estimate was way less than it would have cost to replace the countertops with granite or quartz. He also refinished the kitchen sink, one bathroom sink and a shower. The whole process took about two days because it has to be done on stages. The results are amazing. An incredible transformation. There was apparently a low spot in the floor of the tub that had caused water to collect and cause the rust. Paul evaluated it and said that they could probably level it out before putting on the finish to correct the problem. It turned out looking great! I had concerns about slipping on the new surface since I previously used a vinyl mat with suction cups which you cannot use on a reglazed tub. The woman at the office ( sorry, I forgot her name) was very helpful. I went in and could try out the various options with bare feet to see what worked. I got the mat that they sold plus had grab bars installed by Phil when he did the reglazing. Overall a good experience and a reasonable price.

Paul is a lying, unreliable, caustic individual. One star is an over statement…read more November 2023 for $500 he refinished the bathtub for my rental. While less than professional he came across as reliable. Shame on me for not checking references. Paul quoted me a one-year warranty. Even though I repeatedly requested warranty and care instructions he never provided any documents. Fast forward to November 2024 my renter moved out. Upon cleaning the house, I discovered that the finish was peeling. I contacted Paul. He stalled me for weeks with really weak excuses why he could not meet with me at the house to inspect his work. When he finally showed up his determination was that the renter abused the tub. He could not describe the form of abuse. As a side note the renter was an extremely maticulas housekeeper. He left the house spotless. Paul offered to refinish the tub for $400. When I declined. Negotiating with him became ugly. I refused to let him refinish a second time for any amount including free. I demanded a $400 refund. This set him off on a really ugly rant. When I asked him to leave while escorting him out the door and to his pickup he swore a vulgar string of curse words. To top that off he verbally threatened me. "I KNOW WHERE LIVE AND I KNOW WHERE YOU WORK". Which he repeated 5 times on his walk to his pickup. I informed him that I would be filing a small claim and report him to the Contractors Board. Later that day Paul texted me asking if he paid me the $400 would I not file a claim and not report to the Contractors Board. I accepted on the condition that he had five business days to have a cashier's check or money order in my possession. I have never received the $400 and I have never heard from him. Litigation is pending.
