This place was 5 stars back in 2022 when they were fully staffed and had people working who actually care. I thought going back would be good after my accident. I was wrong. They are short staffed and can't deal with your pain and problems one on one. They set a care plan for me that included massages and TPI and then go i got none of it. I went in for care wanting to get massaged. Because they were low staffed I scheduled one MONTHS in advanced. They ended up discharging my case without any proper treatment or approval. Front desk is zero help. Front desk personnel need to get their backs and attitudes adjusted. Believe the one star reviews. read more

Got a massage scheduled and my masseuse was Jaqueline and she is fantastic. One of the best massage I ever had. Her pressure was just perfect and extremely relaxing. I almost fell into asleep for a few minutes. Atmosphere is calming inside the room. Front desk staff are friendly. What we were told on the phone versus when we got there, they could not figure out the reason for the pain. It's a basic PT clinic with a lot of options like massage, acupuncture etc. but not all work for you if you are limited on getting a proper diagnosis. They take cash pay of $55 for a consult which includes x-rays as using insurance is more costly with a high deductible plan. Overall, a one stop shop for your pain but unfortunately it didn't work for us. read more

Really disappointed, I was so excited to visit this place; hopeful to finally find a place that could help the aches, pains & flexibility, all in one location! I was sorely disappointed! The 1st strike: met a sales rep at the Desert Ridge Dog expo, he had all the handouts & was pleasant. He was there representing the Desert Ridge location (important note, because they have multiple locations), the first question I asked (really only treatment I wanted) was "do you have a roller bed"? He replied "YES"! Which turned out to be a lie.. Different services are offered at different locations.. Before I knew it was a lie, I got excited to visit, so the following Monday I went in for a visit (super excited). The front desk receptionists are all very pleasant, Samantha was my consultant, well spoken, friendly & listened attentively. Of course, I asked "you have a roller bed"? Samantha replied "No, but other locations do". Being very let down, I told her I was lied too, but interested to move on.. 2nd strike: the Doctor... Very professional, but on the 2nd visit, after taking x-rays & the consult on the 1st visit, we were going to discuss the results. They display your x-ray on a large tv & go through each detail, leaving room for any questions, so far so good... right? Well.... the only real issues I had with this appointment, was they had mentioned "we'll go over financing at the end" I am not going in for surgery, or buying the place! The doctor spoke in a salesman rhythm, constantly searching for how to pitch the services tine & time again, with a pause "um", "uuummmm" peppered throughout the discussion. If you've every say through a timeshare pitch or bought a car, you know.. He even had the 4 squares of "treatment" (implied costs) written down on paper in front of me! Then enter the "closer"! Back Fit didn't take my insurance so they signed me up on a membership plan that was to include any balance not covered by insurance. I should have never trusted this offer because more than a year later they sent me a pass due bill for over $1000. The entire process of signing over the insurance checks was super sketchy to begin with. I also was also told to ignore their inaccurate billing statements. If you are paying privately out of pocket this place is just as good as the next. However I would not do any insurance related business with them as the entire billing process is suspect, inaccurate and broken. I am not sure if it's incompetent or fraudulent but BackFit is not a patient first place to do business with. read more

I'm so thankful to have found Dr. Ronald Vigneau at BackFit Health + Spine. The complicated medical history following me as a patient didn't deter him from taking me on & into his care. He has been gentle with me & was empathetic while delicately presenting me with the most recent imaging results and the changes that have happened in my spine. I'm shocked they are at 4.7 stars. I met a Backfit doctor at a golf event and it checked all the boxes - they took insurance and would be able to handle my relatively easy back pain. When I went in and met with the team, it's like a car dealership ... down to the 4 square presentation. Nothing says you are about to get fleeced like a sales pitch straight out of the Earnhardt's sales manual! There are so many things wrong with this business. After I met with the practitioner (who was a chiro) and explained what I needed from them, I was told to wait for the insurance person. She explained that Backfit was not going through my insurance because not everything they do is covered by insurance. Instead, I needed to put down $200 and then pay $25 per visit and have 2-3 visits per week for 16 weeks - and here I am thinking I need to go in a few times (once a week) over the next few weeks (like 3 maybe 4) and get hit for my $50 copay so be out of pocket $150 - $200 max. What was the reason for the $200 down payment? Good question - it's in case there is anything in my treatment that is not covered like hardware or a special orthotic (I can't' recall the specifics, just something else that I would not ever need nor spend $200 to resolve the issue I have with my back). So the total cost was going to be $1000 to $1400 after all of my visits. What exactly they were going to do each visit? I had to come back the next day to sit down once again with the practitioner. I complied, returned, and was told each session would "maybe/kinda" be massage or a chiro adjustment or perhaps trigger point injection - all that to say the practitioner was not very specific on what would happen or why I needed to be seen so often for that long. I am in great shape, I work out and stretch just about every day, there is no way I needed to spend this amount of money. But their sales process is get evaluated by the practitioner then turn you over to the insurance/money person just like the car salesperson handing you off to the finance department and don't provide enough answers to prevent you from getting fleeced. Since telling them there is no way I need this or want this (which was at least 6 months ago) I have started receiving unsolicited text messages from them. At first I thought about sharing my experience but instead I replied to unsubscribe me and I moved on with my life. I just received another one. You can't try to rip people off and then continuing spamming them without retribution. I know that people go in with real problems and get help and I have no doubt they "maybe/kinda" would've fixed my problem but it wasn't worth $1000. By the way, I went to Devin at DV8 Wellness Co (DV8WellnessCo.com), he's a stretch guy, and in 2 amazing sessions, I found out my back isn't the problem, my hips are; since then the stretches he's gave me along with the hip-specific work I do on my own has completely fixed my "lower back" pain. read more

At this point I am almost at the end of my program review, I purchased 30 sessions to get my knees and lower back into a better state. The team of Chiropractors have been awesome as well as the Physical Therapist. I had surgery in the middle of my program and everyone was very accommodating during my recovery and my slow return to my normal routine. I really missed my sessions during my surgery recovery period and I am glad to be back to business as usual. In a networking meeting, Dr Justin said he helps people avoid surgery. . . After years of flair ups, the carpal tunnel had become chronic and painful. I was loosing sleep to wrist and elbow pain. I couldn't trust my wrist tendons to pick up a book or cup of water without a sharp pain shooting up my forearm. I was fighting numbness and nerve pain every day. CBD creams and ibuprofen would help, but only for a few hours at a time So . . . I'm 4 weeks into a 6 month treatment plan prescribed by Dr Justin. I'm already thrilled! I go in 2x per week. If I'm in pain or discomfort when I arrive, that is addressed immediately. It might be a hands on treatment or TEMS unit and ice or any number of tools they have to address pain. I can tell my comfort matters to the entire team. Then I'm learning stretches that help loosen up tendons. My favorite thing is the combo of the spinal decompression and a neck adjustment. Not only is my wrist/arm pain a little less intense, but my upper back, shoulders and neck are also loosing up! I'm waking up refreshed instead of stiff! Not a fan. My evaluation was great. The xrays helped show where the injury was .. a MRI was recommended and I expected the doctor's report to reflect the conversation referring me back to my primary for an MRI Nope. The report never mentioned anything about my injury (I am relatively healthy and had an injury that resulted in a possible need for surgery). And there was no mention of referring me back to my PCP to consider a MRI. Chiropractic care can be contraindicative for certain injuries so taking chances without all the right data is walking a line. In addition, a poor report on an evaluation can damage a person chances to efficiently get to the right specialists as it delays testing as insurance fights covering MRIs without reason. I also wasted money and chances care on my body when it was not fully appropriate. I will never go back there as I expect professional reports that match patient/doctors conversations and actually help the patient .. not reports that state 18 adjustments will help when all the appropriate data has not been collected. read more
