Would not recommend this location. I'm a young male with no back issues or any pain, but I like to go to the chiropractor every 6-10 months just to get realigned. Went in for realignment and they basically did nothing and said I would need to come back multiple times a week if I wanted a full treatment. And they were pressuring me and almost forcing me to come back for more visits even tho I had no pain. They are just scamming trying to get more money from me. They are not doctors, basically just salesmen at this point. I will not be going back. read more

Visited there cause I tweaked my lower back. The chiropractor spent about three minutes with me. He didn't evaluate if it was muscular or or disc issue. He might've made my back even worse. I went to a real doctor and found out it was a disc issue. I recommend avoiding this place. read more

I unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I need pretty regular adjustments from a history of sports injuries. My notes are detailed and I remind them every visit "No traction" and they typically acknowledge it. Unfortunately this is the third time the same doctor acknowledged it and then did it anyways. I even told her the reason why is because it always gives me vertigo. So here I am awake at 1am on a work night spinning with vertigo because she once again couldn't remember not to pull on the patients neck. If it works for other people, great - it doesn't work for me, it's in my notes, she acknowledged it and still it happened again. Very disappointed read more

Definitely will never be back & I rarely ever write a bad review. I hurried in to get an adjustment and since I've been to other joint's, knew that as long as there wasn't a wait I'd be in & out before closing (which I was). When I walked in, it was clear that I was an inconvenience as the receptionist seemed immediately annoyed. The chiropractor was very rude and not personal at all. I realize everyone has tough days but i left feeling so uncomfortable & awkward because it almost felt as I wasn't the paying customer & was not at all wanted to be there. I will be canceling. They close at 5pm I was there at 458pm because I initially drove to one that's closed. Turning away a paying customer (a monthly charge customer) is unacceptable in my book. As I leave he asks if it's ok. Yes you can choose to do whatever you want. And I can choose to do whatever I want to and that's to cancel. Bye team Joint. Love the Joint! Was super apprehensive about going to a chain chiropractor to start, but from the first visit they blew me out of the water! The chiropractors are true professionals with years of experience, and really know how to help their clients! They take their time to explain things to you as they go, but don't waste your time with waiting. I started coming here after my first child was born and they have been a lifesaver! If you think about how bad your posture is while breastfeeding and caring for a newborn, chiropractic care makes sense. The chiropractors at the joint really helped me recovery from child birth and enjoy the time I had to spend with my little one. Can not recommend this place enough! If you have any apprehensions just give them a try for a month and you will feel the difference. read more

9/13/22: I've been a Joint Chiropractic member in CA for several years. One of the things I love about my membership is the ability to use it in any state. I was on a road trip from CA to TX and this was the only Joint I'd be able to go to before arriving in TX, so I had to get my crack in! First impressions are everything! When I called prior to my visit, Kai (front desk) was so sweet & friendly. When I arrived, there was no wait, I was immediately greeted and saw Dr. Wagner. For not being my regular chiropractor, I have to say, he did a great and thorough job of adjusting me. Another great thing about my membership is that they can look up my notes from prior visits. This location is actually the nicest looking one I've ever been to. Barn/farmhouse doors, nice pictures on the wall and nice bathroom too! I actually wish this was in Texas, as it would've instantly become my new "home location". It's in a great shopping center, so if I'm ever in Scottsdale again, I'll definitely come here for an adjustment. Thanks for a fantastic 5 star experience! read more

One of my first jobs ever was working for a chiropractor. I'm a chiro snob and proud of it. Came across Dr. Ali at the Joint Chiropractor and he's exactly the chiropractor I've been looking for. He has a great personality and he listens to you, your needs and what you're looking for when you come in for an adjustment. If Dr. Ali isn't working on a particular day, I have no problem waiting until he's back at the office. Hands down one of the best chiropractors in Scottsdale. If you're in need of a Chiropractor, go see Dr. Ali! #1 fan! Oh, Ann, who works the front desk is BOMB.COM! She's so nice, always smiling and is a true asset to this location. Would not recommend. Was encouraged to visit due to low cost, but you get what you pay for. Adjustment felt rushed and left feeling worse. Appointment was at 5:30 PM and when I phoned the next day advising I was still in pain and whether they could offer any kind of readjustment or follow up, I was advised I had to pay full price for another appointment. I was informed if I had been in pain I needed to return the same day, even though they were an hour from closing when I left and I'd phoned well within 24 hours later. Poor experience. read more

Just recently started going to the joint on my sisters recommendation. Although I've been going to a chiropractor my entire life, I was having difficulty making appointments due to the hours I work. This place is open 7 days a week and the staff very friendly. Dr Ali has been helping me get back on track and my pain is slowly subsiding. I use to love this location. The doctors there were awesome, friendly and knew what they were doing. There was an online check-in app and most importantly, they were open during stated business hours. Now corporate has taken over, the talented doctors have left, no check-in app which I guess wouldn't matter as they can't stay open due to no doctors. Don't bother trying to this location. They are other Joint locations around town, go see them. read more

Your Chiropractors are absolutely wonderful. Your admin support staff not so much. I came in and was going to continue to come in. I got my first adjustment and felt wonderful!!! A week or too passed and I found out that I can submit this to my Medical Insurance Carrier for a 75% reimbursement. Here's what I experienced: I sent an email thru your website to get the proper procedure codes so that I can submit for reimbursement. I specifically told her my name and DOB. She sent me TWICE - the letter with the procedure codes with my Name Spelled Wrong and I had to correct her again about my DOB. On top of all of that. Your admin person submitted to my insurance carrier that this was for High Blood Pressure. This is a huge ERROR and needs to be corrected ASAP. I do not have High Blood Pressure and it should not be noted in any Treatment Notes. Because of the sloppy work of your Admin, I am not comfortable ever returning and will tell people I know not to go to The Joint. I work in Healthcare so I reach a lot of potential clients. read more

Wow. Dropping my rating from a 5 to a 2 because one of the docs was wearing his mask below both his nose and mouth while adjusting patients in their small shared adjustment room. It was the big, muscle-bound dude, who gives gruff, awful adjustments BTW. Their best doctor is no longer there anyway. This location used to be very good, however, since corporate has taken over, it has gone downhill. Not sure how corporate taking over a branch that was running great suddenly has trouble, but it's a shame what has happened. All of the chiropractors have left and now this location can't even open when they say they will be open. I've showed up 3 times now only to either have the doors locked during times they should be open or for the woman at the front desk to tell me there is no chiro on duty that day. I'm sure they will want us to give the new chiro's a chance, however, it's quite hard when they aren't even open much of the time. Not sure why there wasn't a plan in place before they took over, but the ball was certainly fumbled as they say. read more

Went into The Joint on Sunday, could not even walk and racked with pain. There was a new Dr there, his name is Dr Jason, he is huge can't miss him. I told him he looked like he could pick me up and shake the bones back into place, we laughed! Nice young man, and he took the time to stretch my legs as well and teach my husband what to do. Still sore Sunday, and hurting Monday morning (not as bad), by the afternoon I was 100% better. Jason I think you are wonderful, and my fibromyalgia and I thank you from the bottom of my feet to the top of my head, bless you! The Folks at the Joint have provided friendly, competent care for me through surgeries, heart failure, being in a wheel chair. Over the last 2 years I have worked out of the wheel chair, recovered into a Walker, then a Cane, and as of October 2017 I have been walking free!!! Dr. Tom's compassion, sense of humor and skill consistently has me improve over time! The App rocks, allows us to streamline our time for what's important. In and OUT! Getting what needs to be "fixed" fixed. Great care at the speed of the modern age. Occasionally you may need to wait 10-15 minutes, but I am almost always in and out in only the time it takes to give me the care I need. I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had... ever. I came here at the recommendation of my husband and told the lady at the front, who was super sweet, that I had never been before. She tells me they'll do a consult and an examination and then talk to me about treatment. So I met with the doctor who just glimpsed over my paperwork - I really don't think he read any of it at all and asked what was going on. I told him and he asked if I ever had an MRI - I said no. And I also say at least twice that I've never been to a chiropractor before. I asked if it's painful and he said 'no, not at all.' So he tells me to lay down and he starts pressing on my spine asking if it hurts. I assume at this point this is the 'examination' part. Next thing I know - he cracks my back. The pain was beyond excruciating and absolutely unexpected - it was so painful it took my breath away and I was struggling to catch my breath. He told me to breathe (gee, thanks) and I thought he was just trying to help me calm down when he does it again. Everything was a blur after that. I was sweating profusely, I felt like I was going to pass out, and I was doing everything not to cry. I paid the front desk and got out of there and sobbed all the way home. I was shaking so bad from the experience that I asked my husband to drive me home. I've been in excruciating pain since then. I can barely move, I have pain shooting down my spine into both my legs, and I'm 100 x's worse than I was before I went. It was such a traumatic experience for me that every time I think about it I begin sobbing again. I have an appointment with a spine specialist next week who's going to take an MRI because she's worried he caused a herniated disc or damaged a nerve. She also said any decent chiropractor will take x-rays before treatment. The doctor was an assh**e, to put it mildly. I wish I could give this place negative stars. read more

This place is awesome!!, was going to a private chiro back in the day, it was much much more expensive. My recommendation is seeing Dr. Ali, he's my favorite there. I have seen all of them and they are all great, I just vibe better with Ali. The manager upfront is a super nice lady too by the way. I have never had a bad adjustment and this place is always busy. I decided to pop in on Sunday as I had tweaked my back and was having troubles moving at all. Came in bought a package deal and sat down. I watched 3 people come in, sit down and then go back. I heard one mention checking in online. Peer around the office and there is a little sign on the desk mentioning they have an app. As I had been waiting for 25 minutes already (and there was already a person waiting when I got there) I decided to see what it thought the next open spot was. 94 minutes! So I ask the front desk how long till I could see the doctor and she tells me 45 minutes! How can not make someone aware that they are going to be waiting for over an hour. There was a dad with 2 small kids that came in at we me. Needless to say I refunded my package and me and 3 others got up and left. I will never go back. If your wait is going to be more that 15 minutes because of online checkin (bare in mind when I called they said they were walk in only) you should tell people. read more

All the doctors, Ali, Tom, and Tanya are the sweetest and some of the most attentive chiropractors I've ever worked with. I've had spinal fusion on most of my lower back and still need chiropractic care to keep my neck and rest of body in balance. This is the most affordable care I could find in the neighborhood.
