When I asked the guy why the $110 increase, he simply said, the girl at the shop gave him the wrong price. That was it. Matter of fact. No apologizes, no attempt to soften the blow. This is on top of him having to go back to his store to get his glasses so he could see well enough to put in the pump. I would think twice about going to the little guy. They even answered all my silly questions from a homeowner that doesn't know much about plumbing. About a week later it became apparent that the drain clog which we thought was cleared had one more surprise in store for us. I called A&D for a return visit and they worked it out again. All has been good since then. They also reworked a bad drain pipe and installed a new faucet in my kitchen as well as installing a new faucet in my utility sink.
