Six pretty good sized men showing up at one woman's house is definitely overkill. Six men showing up at your house would be scary to some women!!! It's surely NOT wise!!! Some of these guys could have sat in one of their trucks instead of just standing around. Anyway, 2 of the fellas - evidently worker bees - went under my house while everyone else stood around. They looked around, & saw the how the previous plumber had blocked my access to the rest of the plumbing & came out to tell their bosses. They told the Main Boss how all my plumbing was PVC pipe. He made it very plain that he wasn't pleased to hear that. He said that he doesn't like working with PVC. Maybe he doesn't do drain lines. I explained to him that I needed that one drainage line moved (rerouted,) so that it didn't block my path & I wanted the water lines wrapped for the Winter, so they wouldn't freeze. I don't think I told them that I needed the drainage lines strapped up which is another thing the previous plumber failed to do. Anyway, they didn't want to dig under the line that was blocking the access to see the rest of the plumbing behind it, so they really couldn't give me a real estimate, but the head guy said they'd do the work. I wasn't impressed! I don't do half or maybe estimates, or just hire folks NOT knowing what all is involved & how much money I am going to spend!!! So, no thank you, K&K!!!

I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. I had lost pressure in the bathtub in our hall bathroom and nothing else in the house. Two other plumbers after swapping out the cartridge in the faucet and finding that didn't work, were ready to tear out the foundation and replumb the entire area when it was discovered we had recently had foundation repair done on the home even though there was no apparent slab leak. I spoke to Kenny and he and his guys approach was to literally eliminate anything it could be and do everything possible to avoid costly repairs going through the foundation if there was not an absolute need to do so. These fellas were incredibly thorough, they opened up the wall behind the bathtub to access the supply lines to determine why just those were affected. When they cut into the line a small plastic marble slightly smaller than the supply line somehow got into a line that should only have fresh water running through it. Once that oddity was removed they put everything back together to see if that was the problem and sure as hell it was. No one present had any clue how something like that got in there in the first place, and after a good laugh I was happy to have a fully functioning bathtub again. In the end the final price was less than the initial quote. These guys were truly incredible and are the only guys I'll be calling for future plumbing needs. A+ all day long.

Kenny's crew was the only one that spent significant time looking at the issue and explaining to us how he would repair the problem. After they did the work, the final cost was exactly the same as his estimate, Casey and Chris were professional, hard working, and very knowledgeable. They were also able to explain the process to me in a way that I understood which was greatly appreciated. They really do treat their customers as if they are family. I would definitely recommend calling Kenny first before anyone else for plumbing issues.

This consisted of pumping smoke from a $10 smoke bombs through the sewer system to find a leak. Toilet seals were leaking. Great! Problem solved, right? Wrong. After charging us $750 for the run around... the toilets were incorrectly reinstalled... wobbly and leaking. And the original problem of shower drain odor still exists. We called on a Thursday afternoon and left a message and received an immediate call back. They said someone could come out the following day. Speake's was excellent about communicating and we opted in to receive text messages. They let us know that someone would come by between 10-2 on Friday. And they did! Enter Mike on Friday afternoon around 1:30! We showed him our bathroom and he could smell the sewer gas too! We had kept the door closed to keep fumes down to the rest of the house. Also opened a window. After he removed the toilet and scraped off the wax he found the real problem. He came to show us what he discovered. There was a gap between where the flange and the drain pipe meet. Mike fixed the pipe and replaced the flange with a new beautiful brass one. This is the only pic I took. We love our Toto toilets and asked Mike to replace the insides with a new flush valve kit since the current one looked really old. He replaced the toilet and cleaned everything up. We paid and he sent our receipt via email. The price seemed in-line and we were very happy with Mike and the service he provided. We will definitely call Speake's Plumbing again if a plumbing issue arises.
