They did a great job servicing my water heater as it needed a flush after four years. Note that I was unaware of this maintenance was even needed! My bad! Thankfully it's behind me now. I also had them look at my sink disposal and two toilets. They provided good advice about the condition of a water valve on one toilet and after discussing price options, I decided to get the toilet pumps updated. Overall, they took just over an hour for all the repairs and then explained everything they completed by taking me on a "tour" of the repairs until I was satisfied. Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. My two dogs were especially bad and barked terrible at him.. and he remained calm, relaxed and pleasant. He even saved one of them out in the street because I had left the gate open. Not only are they great people at Mother's, but they charged less than any others that I checked. I checked a lot. The 1st plumbing company that I called required a fee just to come and look at the problem, for an estimate of what the actual job will cost.. their estimate fee was about the same as Mother's full fee was for doing the entire job, with no estimate fee charged. The day of the service, I received a text with bio of the plumber that would be servicing my home. Adan Diaz showed up and he was fantastic! He was pleasant and knowledgeable. Not only did he solve the problem but he gave pointers on what to look for and other homeowner misses that can ultimately end up causing thousands if dollars if not addressed. How did he know I needed a new disposal when the electricity had gone off due to safety precautions because water was pouring out of disposal. I asked what do you think happened, his reply was it's old. He offered me a price of about there was 700 dollars for a 100 disposal. So I paid it. In less than an hour he had put the disposal in, first he had to ask where the switch for the disposal was even though there was only one switch in the kitchen. The switch was where all disposal switches are. I asked him to push the reset button on the wall plug, he said you don't have one. I said it is on the wall. He ignored that and said you need a electrician. I said can I wash dishes by hand. He said yes, then he left. I went to the kitchen to wash dishes. After I drained the water, the water went out all over the cabinet and the floor. And to top it off he left a part from the old disposal in the sink instead putting the new one. I called Expert On Time to tell them about the water, they said we will put you on the schedule. I said need someone to come out now. They sent Martin over. Martin said Alex knocked something loose when installing the disposal. Martin was a nice guy he hit the restart button and got electricity back on. He repaired the damage from Alex.
