Boston is an incredibly walkable city, and aside from the JFK Library, I was impressed at how close the hostel was to so many iconic locations: Beacon Street, the Commons, City Hall, and the Boston Public Library, just to name a few. I loved how I didn't need a car to get to any of those locations, because everything was walking distance. The hostel itself was outstanding. I loved that for guests, there's a dedicated floor for pool, hanging out, a kitchen area to eat and cook, etc., but I also loved the daily activities they had for guests: On the night I stayed, they had a drinks mixer to meet people, and I got to meet people from Peru, Germany, New Jersey, Australia, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and other places. We did a bar crawl based on availability and who the staff knew and had relationships with. The staff took us to the bar where the Founders planned the Boston Tea Party. As a guy who loves history and reads about history and travels to places for its historical sites, there was genuinely nothing cooler than being to go get a drink at the same bar where our Founders planned to throw tea into the Harbor. I have to warn people that I thought about bringing a lock before my stay, but I didn't. The front desk has locks for $8 in case you need something. The bathrooms were well maintained, and the bathrooms had soap and shampoo. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place where the staff will facilitate ways for you to meet people and hang out.

Located centrally between Chinatown and the Theatre District, and a simple one block walk from the United States first park, The Common, similarly to the first subway - The T. From Boston's downtown hostel, all things tourist are well within walking distance. Want to go a bit further, perhaps Salem? Hop on the nearby and easily used train system. Not to mention free guided tours and events, welcoming staff, and clean private sleeping areas. Oh, and the restrooms, private - none shared - how is that not a bonus when traveling on the cheap? Have I glossed over the entire floor dedicated to amenities? Pool, TV, Nomadic Focused Work Area, Full Commercial Level Kitchen, Dining Room with a View, Laundry, and more~! HI Boston Hostel is my top choice for a safe warm and cozy base of operations every time I travel through the area.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

The venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful, clean, and presentable. We requested a charcuterie board, champagne, and fruit platter, and it was stunningly displayed and high quality. Ours was only 3 doors down from the main lobby, so that was easy and convenient. This apartment fell under the Suite category. Our place had a kitchen with large refrigerator, stove with two burners, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, sink, plates and glasses. All very clean and convenient. The shower was modern and glass enclosed. A few things that could be improved could the the paper goods (paper towels and toilet paper were not the best quality, and the internet was a bit sporadic and slow - speeds sometimes of only about 1-2 Mbps). We loved the comfortable bed. Firm but not too firm and our pillows were all very nice...a total of six of them....making it very good for me since I like to have at least two when I go to sleep. The lady at the check-in lobby was very sweet and nice. Overall a great place to stay. Either for just one night or for extended stays.

We were lucky to get a brownstone located on St Steven Street, which was walkable to lot of places and near Berkelee School of Music and Northeastern University. We had a studio with a kitchen and balcony. We couldn't lock the balcony door but it was elevated and difficult to get to from the ground. Location was great, neighborhood was quiet...but the walls were so thin, which is apparently normal in Boston. I could hear every voice as they were coming in the main entrance at night and every door slam. We stayed in such a cute place.

It is situated right near the Old South Meeting House and the Old State Building, which is smack-dab in the middle of the Freedom Trail. Public transit is about 1 block away on all sides and rideshare drivers can pick you up right out front for easy access. We even had UberEats deliveries that were really easy to navigate. The room is clean and spacious and has plenty of amenities. We had a single queen with a standing shower, a desk with 2 chairs, a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and even a small electric stovetop. A great room for a great price. The only thing I wish was different is the toilet: you have to "pump" the flush handle to get it to clear out, but it's manageable after you get the hang of it. The staff working here are attentive and kind. Juberto helped us with check in and check out (even let us check out an hour later at 1pm), and gave a friendly greeting every time we walked through the door. The English pub downstairs, Elephant & Castle, is a great respite after a long day sight-seeing and we appreciate Jimmy so much for how welcome he made us feel. We will definitely be coming back here! Thank you!

We like the free bottles of water on each floor. On our last stay the front desk required everyone to check-in using a kiosk in the tiny lobby. It was much slower and as more people came in it got very cramped. It was so odd because the manager was helping people use the kiosk, but if he had just checked us in himself at the desk it would have been faster and more pleasant. I would consider CQ to be a backup hotel when nothing else is available.

The entire establishment was clean and attractive. The term "Deluxe Room" in the advertising, however, is misleading. The room that we had did NOT have a private toilet/sink. We had to go down a pretty steep staircase to use those shared facilities. (There was a very new shower in the room however.) It was not easy for us...especially for my husband who is on crutches temporarily. We stayed there the night of August 22nd and would never stay there again. when we originally made our reservations we were asked if we wanted breakfast and told them yes, they said "that will be an extra $15.00 per person" When we arrived the gentlemen again asked if we wanted breakfast only making it sound like it was a real inconvenience to do so, we declined and thankfully so as another guest who was there was expecting breakfast at 9:30 as they had to be somewhere by 11 and nobody was around, couldn't even get a cup of coffee. They claim to provide a shuttle to the airport for an additional $10.00 which we asked for a 9:30a.m. shuttle and again that was not provided as no one was around and would not answer a phone call or a text. The room we were in was hot, plus there were sheer curtains only on the windows plus a skylight right over the bed which made for an early wake up call from the sun. Plumbing fixtures were loose on the sink and falling off the shower and toilet. We were handed old towels and no wash clothes at all. The only soap in the bathroom was the persons who had vacated the room for us to stay, all that is on top of the 3 flights of stairs up a dark narrow stairway to get to your room. overall one of the worst experiences we ever had staying in a B&B or hotel Sandy & Dan D

Next, we were trying to get a beer at 10:35PM tonight, Friday night, but the bar has last call at 10:30Pm and closes @11PM. SERIOUSLY!!!!! Are we now staying in kiddyville?? Next the hotel had only two out of three elevators running all day and there were high school kids going up and down the elevators like little children causing delays and crowded elevators. Then tonight after finding out the bar was closed before midnight, we go to the elevators to find another elevator is out of order with only one elevator running. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE EXPECTING LEISURE, OR IF YOU EXPECT GENERAL SERVICES (All elevators working, a bar that stays open until reasonable hours, and a true reception that is worth sitting down and relaxing with beer, or wine) THAT ARE NORMALLY OFFERED AT VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER EMBASSY SUITES. I will definitely never stay here again. It isn't worthy of the Hilton brand. Ok, had to edit again. Don't ever expect ice to be available for your breakfast time in the morning!!! Also, if you have a schedule, plan plenty in advance for your time, this place has no urgency or priority for elevators. Had to take the stairs multiple times just to get downstairs
