I'm just happy to have gotten to stay here. C booked it for our first night in Boston. I had no idea what to expect, or where in the world we were staying, but was pleasantly surprised by the digs when we got there. We do some unique traveling. Mainly in the way that we actually take trips. We leave town with only the first night stay booked and wing it from there. We do this for spontaneity, to always keep things fresh and new, and to avoid losing money in some cases because of flight delays or changed plans. This last trip was a nine day haul around the Northeast Coast. This one was great and I have lots to share, so buckle up! ;) Night one: Excellent check in. Easy valet experience as you can just leave your vehicle on the curb and they come get it later at some point. Martha Stewart's flunky designed the place, but don't hold that against them. It's quite comfy and cozy. I loved the room accommodations. The glass box overlooking the busy Cambridge City street is really cool. The windows even open so that you can get some fresh air in the room or even purge some "compromised" room air out if needed. I wanted to sleep with the window open but the city was too loud for me to endure while sleeping. Shower is nice but all of the bars are deceiving. I thought that we may have a multiple shower head experience, it was only a dual head junt.... All of the bars are just to let the things slide around. It's nice though. It's a bit quirky with only one ice machine in the basement and none on each floor. But down in the basement is a plethora of oddities and things to look at. There is a great conference room that you can rent and shit yourself in if you want. They have a good coffee maker down there too. No free breakfast. That's ok though. Come have a stay. You won't be left disappointed I believe. Staff were super courteous to us. We left something in the car after we valet, and they went and retrieved it for us with no gripes at all. Came and stay a while.... You will be pleased. '25 - 111/111

Pros: -Gorgeous panoramic views of the river from the rooms -Room Service is top NOTCH. -The suites are HUGE! Super Spacious. -The gym is very well stocked and clean -Staff members are polite -Cleaning crew is very prompt with freshening up Cons: -The sound bleed between rooms is so bad. You can literally hear the phone vibrating in the room next to you. Tell me why someone was watching TV super loudly at 3-5 AM!? :( No sleep = Sad me.

When I booked the room, I mistakenly thought it included both a bed and a sofa large enough for my son and me. Upon check-in at 1am, Edvin kindly explained that the sofa was not what I had expected. Rather than simply delivering the news, he was incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful in assisting us an amazing solution. He made sure that we each received their famous cookies while they were still warm. After a long day of travel, his kindness and professionalism made a wonderful first impression. Exceptional customer service like this truly makes a difference, and we really appreciate the warm hospitality. Thank you, Edvin, for helping start our Boston visit on such a positive note!

I was…read morethere for work and honestly wish I had extended my stay just for a little more of a rest! The shampoo, conditioner and lotions were (I think) Gilchrest and Soames -- if I have the wrong brand, know they were high quality and smelled wonderful. I did not eat at the restaurant while I was there, but colleagues of mine did and had positive things to say. I did avail myself of Door Dash a few times; very smooth ordering, as the hotel has a system set up for drop off and pick up. Was there this past winter during a particularly cold time and puh-lenty of snow; the front of the hotel was cleared and safe. A few suggestions: 1. If you can get a corner room, I HIGHLY recommend it for the light and openness. 2. The elevator is quite small -- I did fine, even with quite a large suitcase; just be aware for how many bags you bring or if you are a bit claustrophobic. 3. When I was there this past February, some construction was being done on the hotel. I was on the 5th floor and I heard nothing; the lobby, however, could be pretty noisy during the day. Again, not a reason not to stay -- and the hotel communicated well about the hours of the work. But if you plan to meet people there (for work or fun), you may wish to call in advance about the status of the construction. That aside, I definitely plan to make this my go-to hotel when I return to Boston.

We made a few requests during our stay, and everything was delivered to our room promptly. On a couple of occasions, I asked the front desk for a bottle of water when returning to the hotel, and they were always accommodating. The property features an on site bar and restaurant, as well as a fitness center. Our room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable enough for a restful stay. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a water station in the lobby. During our stay, a few days were unusually hot, and it would've been great to have easy access to cold water when coming in from the heat

Everything could be improved…read more Apparently this place has been under construction for months and yet the front is still very much under construction. The walkway entrance is sticky and wobbly. The sitting area is probably the only nice part about it and even then, it only has pleather/bonded leather couch. The other hairs looked flattened. The reception is off to the corner by the elevator. Sometimes, the staff is talking on the phone. And the elevator scares me as it makes weird noises when it moves. It's expired for a few months. It also smells. The room is very small. The bed is supposed to be a queen but it's more like a full, and on metal rails. There's no bench or couch in the room to drop off the luggage. However, there is one shelf in a small closet. The room is also supposed to be upgraded and renovated. But it's already dated. Some of the items like ventilation does not work. There's no headboard, just wooden slates. The floor is lament, the bathroom is on par with motel quality. Also, the room is noisy at night and I have been having trouble sleeping. I don't feel rested. For all these reasons, and at $400 per day, this place is a scam.
