We tried 4 different beers and they were all pretty dang tasty. My personal favorite was the Greenbelt Trail Mile #4 (Hazy IPA). It had a lot of flavor and perfect for a hazy. It is right off the trail, has free water, free live music, free bike parking, and a great patio. Add in cold local beer at fair prices, and it is pretty hard to complain. The people serving were mostly friendly, the beer was very good, and the selection is always great. If you go inside and head up the stairs, the selection gets even better. My only suggestion: please consider selling mix-and-match 4-packs or single cans to go. We wanted to buy some to take with us, but we could not agree on one flavor, so we skipped buying more and just stuck with what came out of the tap. For cyclists, bridge beers and bike beers are a real thing, and it feels like there is a missed opportunity there. That said, we will absolutely be back for all the "free" stuff, the local beer, and that amazing patio. Great trail stop, great beer, and a perfect place to take a break. Keep up the Lord's work. The beer is good, the food is great if you are hungry, and the wait staff has always been top notch for us. They seem to go out of their way to make people feel comfortable, whether you are stopping in for a full meal or just grabbing a beer along the trail. Prices are fair, the location is excellent, and the service has been consistently strong. I also appreciate seeing them help keep some Iowa beer history alive, especially with Peace Tree no longer operating out of Knoxville.
