The owner checked on us. The cole slaw is phenomenal - creamy, thick with lots of flavor and not too sweet. The owner's wife makes the cole slaw. Maybe best I've had. I ordered the pork tips because I didn't want bread. The tips are flavorful but you have to be willing to eat around the fat and bones. I loved the tips with the North Carolina mustard sauce. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. There was a lot of meat on the sandwich and the roll was fresh. The bbq sauces are phenomenal. My husband loved the spicy hot sauce. The restaurant is decorated in western bbq theme. The tables are clean and stocked with sauces and paper towels. There are also a couple picnic tables outside if you want to eat with your dog. Friendly Staff, a nice rustic wood interior, clean restaurant with friendly Servers. We've had most of the menu over our many visits including breakfast and few times. Their brisket, burgers, pulled pork, pulled chicken and sausages are very good. Their brisket always has a flavorful smoke ring and bark. Fighting the blizzard to get inside - I can see now that it isn't a guy - it's a dummy - well one of us was a dummy. I went into this cavernous joint and was met by half-a-dozen pink steel pigs. I knew I was in the right place. I ordered rib tip dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Those were the meatest rib tips I ever had. They were think and smoky and soon the blizzard melted away.
