The dining room is neat and tidy with old photos of Martinsville and subtle pig decor. Outside is a really nice covered patio where pets are welcome. My food came out quickly in a paper bag with my name on it. The BBQ brisket was phenomenal. The sandwich had several generous slices of thick brisket with slightly burnt ends, but moist and tender inside. The meat melted into the bun, which was soft and fresh. This was the best bbq sandwich I'd had in a long time. The spicy sauce, came on the side, was really delicious, too. The cole slaw is prepared in-house, finely chopped with a sweet vinegar dressing. It was crunchy and good, and a I've portion. Easy 5 star lunch. Free street parking. I'd stop by every time I'd mail a letter if I lived here. And I'd mail a lot of letters.

They have an air station, ice, Wood, propane, and inside the store they have the normal stuff of candy, chips, cold drinks, frozen food, cigarettes, lottery tickets, an ATM machine, and worms for fishing. They also have a space where they can make fresh food for me, and they have some prepared most of the time in a hot box. They have a nice drink station, though things seem to be breaking down at this point in time as one part of one machine was broken And another one was just empty. Could use a lot of work. But not bad for a quick stop.
