I came in New Year's Eve at approximately 11:30 AM to wash my dog and while in line to pay there was a lady ahead of me with her dog and two children around five and six years old. She was extremely rude to the cashier Jeff. Apparently she wanted a dog wash and they were out of towels. She was very hostile towards Jeff and wanted a discounted rate which was already very reasonable at $10 including dog wash and also the supplies. She was also cussing at her children to the point of child abuse. She kicked my service dog in the face. Luckily he's very gentle and well trained. He moved back so that he barely got contact from her. I let her know hitting a service dog is a federal offense. I think Jeff should be commended for being so professional. She was the worst customer a person could ever hope to have. He handled it so well. When I went to wash my dog in the back she was already there washing her dog in the wash next to mine. I ignored her, but she continued, abusing her children cussing at them and threatening to beat them if they didn't listen to her. I feel bad that Jeff had to take that abuse yesterday and that we all had to witness that terrible woman's hostile actions. The wage Jeff handled it should not go unmentioned. He should be commended for being so professional in such an awful situation.

The first one "buddy" who turned out to be a girl... was a rehome that had to be relinquished after 10 years. I had that bird for six years until it sadly passed away in an accident. The second was also a rehome who I adopted two years ago after that tragic accident. It was a bird they did not have any history on. The bird came from very bad circumstances when I took it to the vet it had suffered from a lot of social isolation that came out after I brought it home. When I called in tears asking what to do because I didn't think I could keep the bird "Samantha" talked to me with compassion and care, and I decided after talking to her I still needed to give it at least a few more months. My bird made a huge turnaround now after two years she was completely different bird that just needed the love that they entrusted me with to give her. Ceresa sold her to me and put her trust in me involving herself in the transition and because of her they even let me have her a week early. I have lived up to that trust and given my bird all the time, vet care that she has needed to recover from a previous past that was not good. I'll be going there soon to buy a bigger cage. I look forward to them seeing my Quaker April who is now renamed Gigi! thank you Bird Hut trusting me for the two rescues you let me love and take home. You are always involved in their care and your employees, always concerned for their well-being.

They had some pre-fab chicken coops outside for sale, and since eggs are so expensive. It actually made me think about the possibilities. :) since eggs are so expensive and all. I was searching for a coffee mug that fit in my vehicle holders and found one here. They also had a couple Yeti items on sale which is something you don't see often. Until next time!
