Super impressed with these guys! Everyone was so well educated on options we wanted for a new backyard set of chairs, loveseats and sofas. We also got a cool new fire pit. We had to get everything in for a large family party. Somehow Backyard Expressions got it done in under a week. It was a big hit. The furniture is high quality and really well priced ( we went to 4 different companies and chose the best!). That was a month ago. I just went back and bought new furniture covers just before the rain coming tonight. My order was ready to go when I arrived today - so easy to do business with them. Customer Service is tremendous. Bought logs a year ago, and had a issue with the burner. Even having to wait months during the COVID shutdown, the burner was replaced today and is working great. I prefer to wait a while before reviewing a business to give a more accurate account. Their accessibility and follow through was exceptional. Would not recommend, customer service was poor. We were told our bar stools would take 4 - 5 weeks to arrive, took several months, they never updated us on the order had to constantly call ourselves. One the stools arrived they were not what we expected and now they won't let us return them saying they were a special order because they don't normally stock them. Very disappointed after spending $4,000, would have expected more from them. read more

We found some really nice padded chairs that were a perfect fit for us. They have a great sale going on, offering 20% off. They are very willing to help you get exactly what you want and they have very courteous employees who I believe are all family members. One evening when they were closing and shutting the doors they invited us in to look around as long as we wanted and answered all our questions. Most patio places have similar or same merchandise. We have been looking for patio furniture for over a year now. We looked on-line, Costco and small business throughout Orange County. We either didn't like the quality or the style or didn't trusted the company. Until we finally stepped inside Backyard Expressions in Laguna Hills. Connie, the sales representative, greeted us immediately and answered all the questions we had. We were interested in two sets and we gave her our email address and contact information and she informed us that she would email us the quote the next day. We didn't mind waiting for the quote at all. As promised Connie sent us the quote the next day and it was within our budget. We went in an hour before closing to see the set again to make sure we liked it and at that time it was busy filled with other customers. Connie was very friendly and apologetic for the wait, but again, we were in no hurry. Another customer was really rude and wanted to be waited on right away. So sad people can't be patient and wait and be nice to sales representatives. Anyway, we placed the order and within a week we got our set! The delivery men were very professional and actually worked for B.E. and was not a third party delivery service. They did find a slight nick in one of the pieces and they brought us a new one two days later! The furniture is sturdy and so beautiful! From the friendly sales representative, Connie, to the delivery crew to the quality of furniture, I highly recommend Backyard Expressions! I just can't believe we didn't find them sooner! Oh my gosh-my experience in dealing with the staff at the Laguna Hills facility was fantastic. From the first time I visited the store I knew I was at the right place. Tyler was really helpful after greeting me promptly and then showing me around the immaculately clean and orderly showroom and answering all my questions without hesitation. He was not "pushy" and he was very patient while I strolled around the sales floor. After I made my "GO" decision, Angela stepped in to complete the paperwork and she also was amazing by being calm, reassuring and really open to my tastes and ideas. I chose a beautiful counter-height outdoor table set for 6. The paperwork was quickly processed by Angela and she quoted me a 3-5 week time frame for manufacturing (which I knew was a reasonable industry standard ). On the first day of the third week the set-up and delivery guy Tom called and we set up the delivery. At this point I did something I have NEVER done before and that was to arrange delivery of a major item when I was NOT going to be home. I marked where I wanted the table set up with blue painters tape on the patio deck and that was it. Tom said that would be fine. I knew that I was in good hands with this group based on my prior visits and conversations with everyone there at the retail store. When I returned home a few days after delivery my expectations were wholly fulfilled. The placement of the table was perfect ( I even measured the corners and they were absolutely spot-on). The chairs were all placed properly. Everything was cleaned up and swept clean and the entire area was gorgeous. Moral of the story: trust your "first-impression" instincts. I had a great experience with this high-class group. I WILL be back when it's time to contemplate that new BBQ that caught my eye in the showroom. LOL. Norm K read more
