I have to start off saying that I always have a good time coming here. The food here is always fresh and good. The restaurant does a fantastic job at consistency. This was my first time here. My parents have talked about how good their food is and so my mom and I went. The wait was a little long for being mid-day on a Saturday. When we got seated, my mom ordered a maple butter latte and I ordered the coconut almond latte. Both drinks were ridiculously delish!! My mom ordered the 2 eggs, bacon and pancake meal. I ordered the 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns meal. I have never had hash browns that good. I didn't even have to put ketchup on them like I normally do lol My moms pancakes were yummy too. We had breakfast here for the first time in 6 months. It wasn't busy as it was before 8. The guy who waited on us had no personality and wasn't attentive. The eggs were under cooked but we had to find him to get it corrected. Found a hair in my food but that would have taken another 5 minutes to locate him. As you walk in you are greeted by a friendly smile and welcome. It was breakfast and you can choose your own seating. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. There is an encloses room for small parties of roughly 25-30. Once seated you are immediately greeted with a menu and offered a drink. Your drink arrives by another waitstaff and your official waitress will ask for your order. The wait between seating and getting my food was a matter of less than 10minutes. We had a late breakfast here. It was full, but not overly crowded and there was no wait. Our waitress was kind and attentive at first, but we didn't see her much after she took our order. We never received water, only our coffees. I also ordered a biscuit. They brought me some gravy, but a day later and I still don't have a biscuit. The food in general was decent, but nothing extraordinary. My wife really enjoyed her pancakes, but the rest was average breakfast fare. Overall it was ok, but I'm not sure we'll return. read more

This place has good-ass pancakes. Seriously. I try to eat pancakes at every spot I go to and whenever I travel, and this spot is, like, in the top 1%. Country potatoes are top notch: well-seasoned and crispy. The white gravy on the chicken fried steak could use a pinch more salt to help with the flour-y taste, but otherwise, this place is legit. Another great breakfast place in this area! We came here on Tuesday, May 2nd at about 11:00am with a party of four. It is hidden away in a shopping center; however, it was busy and we had to wait just a few minutes for a table. They have a cute outdoor patio area; however, it was a little chilly that day to sit outside. The decor is kind of standard diner decor; however, the service was very friendly. Now...on the food. The meal I had was Bessie's Biscuits with the chicken jalapeno sausage. The biscuits were so soft and delicious. The sausage pretty much ranked up with some of the best sausage I have ever had. Yes you should eat at Bacon's !! The food is fresh and I have never been disappointed! You will be family at Bacon's , a very warm and friendly atmosphere with a Coffee Bar that brews up some very tasty Java!! My favorite is Bessie's Biscuits with 2 large biscuits loaded up with Scrambled Eggs and either Sausage smothered with gravy or sausage gravy which is so awesome that I can hardly order anything else when I eat there! Love their buttery biscuits with all kinds of jellies brought to your table! A family owned business with a Staff of Waiters and Waitresses that make you feel at home and want you to come back!! Cute place needs improvement on service and kitchen. Only saw the waitress when we got our coffee and food. Other then that nothing. I got my food and we had to wait for my boyfriends food I timed it almost 10 minutes I guess it's not normal to have a table of two have their food come out at the same time. Food was pretty good. We started by waiting 30 min for our food with crappy service. The waitress was extremely rude at first but we didn't think anything of it. After 40 minutes of being ignored and we asked for our food and she finally put our order in. They were extremely racist and by far the worst service we ever had to deal with. If you are a person of color avoid this place at all cost. She did not even give us eye contact and rushed us out whenever we tried to order. She took a different tone of voice when speaking to white people. We didn't even get our food just drank our coffee and when she realized we were irritated she tried to apologize after an hour of not getting our food. She was your typical Karen looking for trouble. Hadn't been here in a while so thought I'd give it another try. I requested a TABLE, not a booth. Ended up with half booth table. Uponi returning from the bathroom as soon as we got to our table, I noticed a side room. There was 4 empty TABLES there. Yet, there wasn't any available 4 minutes ago?? Took a bit to place our order then we waited. And waited. And waited. I have left places before for this much of a wait. But we sat there. Food finally arrived. It was good. Would have really been good had the eggs and hashbrowns been warm. The chicken fried steak WAS hot so that ws the only thing I ate. My mother's pancake and egg were room temperature as well. The wait staff eventually returned to ask how things were. I politely told her the situation. She went to get the manager, for what reason, I don't know. She offered to bring me more eggs. I declined. I had waited long enough for the food and wanted the eggs WITH the other food. So we paid the bill and left. Won't be back for awhile. Now the food MIGHT have been hot when they put it on the plate but therein lies the problem. If you place the hot food on a cooler plated, it's going to get cold!! How about putting the plate in a warmer??? So won't be back again for awhile. read more

If you're looking for delicious gluten free toast, pancakes, french toast and other yummy brunch items I highly recommend Bacon's. If you're looking for your standard breakfast items I also recommend Bacon's. I opted for the gluten free french toast with the bananas and nuts and it was delish! It even came with a personalized size of warm syrup. I really didn't miss the gluten. My friend ordered the rooftop dish with gluten free toast and it was fantastic. The hash browns were perfect in texture and a great fusion with the onions, tomatoes peppers mushrooms and cheese. The toast was toasted perfectly and buttered. I highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar sausage. It's a good size link. Its not your small breakfast sausage link size. The sausage has just the right amount heat and snap. On top of all this good food and great service it's affordable and they have a cute covered patio with flowers and seasonal decor! I've paid much more for gluten free items elsewhere. The wait was normal for the time, but we were skipped by another two person group...which is something someone mentioned earlier- about not being a regular, and expecting to wait longer. However, at the point of walking away, we were seating immediately after that couple. We decided to stay. We got two basic breakfast options. Nothing special. Have gone a couple of times on a Sunday morning. Gets busy quick, but we've gone early. Not too loud and very reasonably priced food. Staff is attentive, but not overly so. I went last Wednesday and had and omelette with toast. The atmosphere was light and casual. My only qualm was the spinach in my omelette could have been cooked more prior to serving but overall it was delicious. My server was attentive but not overbearing and was right on time with the coffee. I also like how they are trying to be eco friendly with their compostable straws but they felt funny on my lips. Stopped in for breakfast with the family today. Cute family style diner. The staff were all very friendly. They accomodate gluten allergies. 15 minute wait. My only con was that they buttered my GF toast (dairy allergy) and I didn't ask for a new one, but they were nice and apologized and ordered me a new one, but charged me a dollar for it...kinda weird.
