I would give no stars if I could. I got the back of my phone fixed about 3wks ago and it's shattered again. I was extremely careful, I didn't even leave it in my pocket when I would sit down. After checking around a few places, we tried Bad Apple to replace the battery in my wife's iPhone. The other places wanted us to come in and fill out paperwork to order a battery, and then get in line with an appointment. Bad Apple had it in stock and didn't require an appointment, and since we're both busy this really helped. We were in and out in about an hour and the new battery works fine. This place is a money pit. I took my phone in Tuesday to get the back fixed and by Sunday it was cracked again. I VERY consciously did not drop it and always had it in my hand. The crack is in the middle of my phone not even connected to a side or anything so I know it didn't crack from a drop. I took it in because I was sad/mad that it hadn't even been a week since and mostly sad because I had been so careful and it happened anyways. The guy there said he doesn't see anything wrong and I must have dropped it. I said I was careful and I didn't and he said something must have happened when I wasn't looking. ???? What??? That doesn't make sense. I'm not looking for answers but at least someone to work with me and they were just a dead end. Next suggestion was it could have been pressure and when I asked what he means by that the best he could come up with was bending the phone. I KNOW I didn't bend my phone. That would be such an intentional thing to try. He said the "warranty" doesn't cover it. So basically the warranty is all just for show. But he could offer me a discount of a WHOLE 10%. Out of hundreds of dollars. He proceeds to tell me he sees this all the time in the 7 years he's been working there. Well I don't think that's something to be proud of. If you keep seeing this problem for 7 years over and over, it's not my fault. I almost told the new customers coming in for a consult to not waste their money like I did. read more

Bad Apple is an ironically apt name for this place. I had my iPhone 6 screen fixed on a Friday and by Tuesday afternoon the replacement screen already cracked down by the home button. When I brought it back in the Manager on duty couldn't even be troubled to come talk to me. Instead he talked to one of the employees tho I was 10ft away. My phone hadn't been dropped, smashed or pinched and he didn't care that for the two work days after it was fixed my phone sat on a desk in front of me or on a conference room table. Whatever "warranty" they may try and tell you it has is total BS. He said - well I guess we can give you 20% off of another replacement although I had just spend $100+ just days before. Do not trust these people. They steal your phone parts. I paid $170 for an iphone screen, and it cracked in just a few weeks. They wanted another $170 even though it is under warranty. Took it to the Apple store in City creek where it was repaired at no charge under the manufacturer warranty. this iphone had a working camera until we brought it to bad apple. since then the camera never worked again. apple Installed a new one at half cost. I also brought my Note to them at the same time for a new battery. The claimed they replaced it, but then said the power would not come on. It was working great until i brought my phone to bad apple. These guys made my day/week/month/year! I was at Apple all day yesterday and the "genius's" at the Genius Bar told me my phone was toast. Nothing I could do but get a new phone. I was so bummed because I hadn't backed up recently and was sad to know I'd probably lose my most recent photos and videos. I decided to go to Bad Apple today to see if I could get a used phone and when I was asked what was wrong with mine, one of the technicians asked if he could take a look. 2 minutes later he said it was an easy fix- it had to do with the charging portal. I've had a number of interactions at this location with a number of employees. Every single interaction has been honest, fair, and affordable. These guys claim to put the customer first and unlike many other places they actually do! They really do prioritize you, will work out fair deals and clearly have a goal of making you come back again (I mean, I guess you NEVER want to have to go back to the repair shop, haha). My husband brought his phone into this store to have the screen and the speaker fixed. The speaker actually works worse now, and when he went in again, they told him it was working fine. Nobody can hear him when he is on the phone unless he is yelling into the speaker. Now he has to go get a new phone after spending $150 to get his phone "fixed". They did a good job fixing it but now my screen pops out and they won't do anything to help me what a joke the popped out screen has caused it crack again slightly and it hasn't even been a week. They don't offer a warranty for help with anything on their work it's a joke! My iPhone 6 screen cracked, and I was recommended by Best Buy to go to another place - IQ - but after reading their reviews that they gave discounts for people who'd give them 5-star reviews, I decided to go to Bad Apple. I couldn't have bee more pleased. I called ahead to see how long it would be, and Rob, the manager, said it would be about 45 minutes. When I got there, he was just finishing up with something, and said he could have it done right away while I waited. It took 15 minutes. I sat on their couch and watched a little TV and Halley helped me pick out a better case so I wouldn't crack my iPhone again when I dropped it the next 40 times a day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and my phone looks good as new. I would totally recommend these people, and while I hope I don't see them again with my broken phone, I know they're there to help me just in case! read more

Unfortunately bad apple really is a bad apple. They half fixed a screen which shortly popped out and cracked. I don't know if they use sub par parts or if they don't have the best employees. Their customer service is horrible as well. They won't do anything for us. I've never had a screen pop out. They say that it's normal for screens to pop out. Ridiculous. My iPhone 6 Plus screen was shattered, so I took it to them. The girl at the front who I told the problem to was rude, short, and unfriendly. They fixed my phone great. Two days later I dropped my phone and it shattered again. We took it back in to see if there was anything they could do to help. We were disappointed that the manager and the girl (in a Pokemon tshirt -unprofessional?) working with him basically laughed at us, said this has happened to multiple customers and they never help them. We asked for an email of a higher up employee. The owner of the store returned my email with another mocking email saying it sucks and he wouldn't help. The job was done fine, but I've rarely seen such terrible and unprofessional customer service. Not worth giving them your money in my opinion. read more

I have gone here twice now and both times they go out of there way to fix anything I have a problem with. I have a broken screen and they end up fixing the charging port and the speaker on my iPhone 6s. They always stand up to there word and they are always really nice to the customers while I'm there. They have a really nice drop off and come back later system which is really nice and reliable. They make sure that everything is working properly and they stand up to there agreements and use contracts. I've been to other places in the past including an actual Apple Store and none of them have been as reliable, easy, calming, and enjoyable as these guys. Best service ever! My iPhone 6 got dropped in water a couple weeks ago and I lost all power. We immediately put it in a bag of rice and there it stayed for about 10 days hoping it would work again. No luck. I took it to Bad Apple and kept my fingers crossed that they could work their magic. Less than a day later I got the phone call I had been waiting for. My phone was once again working! Awesome service! I had the screen on my barely month old iPhone 6 shatter. I brought my phone in and was taken care of right away. The girl working the desk was very informative in making me aware of their policies. It took them a couple hours to replace the screen but I was able to leave and have them call me on another number so I would not have to wait for 2 hours. It ended up costing me $105 which was better than any pricing I had found elsewhere. The phone works perfectly and they even put a screen protector on it for no additional fee.
