Went in really excited for a breakfast burrito ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and paid extra to add some sausage. 1st round got the burrito took a bite noticed it was pastrami not bacon and sausage. Went in to tell them it was the wrong meat and specifically said I ordered bacon and sausage. Waited for another 10 minutes for hopefully the right order. Nope took a bite into the second burrito it was just sausage. Really disappointed, should not be hard to put two meats that were specifically ordered and PAID for in the burrito. Scrambled eggs mean that the yolks and the whites are thoroughly mixed BEFORE the eggs are cooked. What ended up in my burrito was gross and I had to throw those two globs of overcooked egg rubber into the garbage. And it wasn't THREE globs of egg pucks like advertised. I know the price of eggs has gone up, but a breakfast food business should not be shorting customers of both proper preparation and the quantity of eggs advertised. On top of that, nobody likes a sausage breakfast burrito with giant chunks of sausage, especially cooked to extra firm. Maybe they are trying to be different by going for two-bite sausage chunks, but it makes the eating experience a lot less pleasurable when you take a bite and the sausage drags out the mushy tots with that weird sauce onto your lap. And that sauce tastes like it originated as an experiment in mixing condiment packets from a melange of fast food eateries. Your mileage may vary. read more

Or times when the bacon is undercooked and chewy.. or like today, when they just didn't put bacon in them at all. Seems simple, apparently too simple. Got no cheese on both and avocado on one, also with no side sauces that they said they would provide. I promise you this place has amazing, but different take on breakfast burritos. When you think of breakfast burriots in Colorado, you probably think of scrambled eggs, potatoes of some sort (hash browns, country, even fries), cheese, maybe some sort of meat, and a lot of times green chile. Now imagine you didn't do green chili, but added an assortment of premium sausages, bacon, and even pastrami as options, and made the egg inside over-easy. Not only that, but bring some spicy mayo to the table, crispy potatoes, and some top shelf cheese. OMG. With each bite, you get the snap of the sausage casing and a right hook of flavor, the crispness of the potato, the savory egg (which can get jammy or solid depending on how long you wait to eat, but I prefer the runny egg), and whatever other punchy flavors you chose to go with. These are literally served in the Dog Haus, known for their sausages and other fares, so if you know, you know. But be warned, these suckers may put you out of commission for a while. That being said, they may be pricey but they're a whole ass meal. So eat one really early or for lunch, then have a light dinner . The side options are pretty solid as well. Only thing I could recommend is some other drink options, but you can easily just go get a smoothie or Dutch Brothers down the street if it's that serious. All in all, these burritos are definitely BAD ASS. Keep it up guys. read more

I stopped into the Dog Haus in Northfield for a breakfast burrito from Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos. After looking at the menu options I decided that I would like something more simple than what was offered. The woman taking my order assured me this could be done. I ordered a burrito with scrambled eggs, tater tots and cheese. I was told my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. The first burrito I received had only bacon and runny eggs. My order was sent back again to be remade. The second burrito I received was also incorrect. It contained eggs, bacon and Mayo. After 30 minutes of waiting, the woman taking orders and working the register could not give me a refund. I was told to write my information on a piece of paper to be contacted at some point today. She also mentioned that "this is how our burritos are" and that "new people were working in the kitchen." Both responses are unacceptable excuses for making the order incorrectly, twice. I do not recommend this place for breakfast burritos. I will not be coming back again. read more

Honestly the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had. Waited 25 minutes for two mediocre at best burritos. I honestly could have made the exact burrito I paid for at home... but it would be better. It got the haus burrito and it was probably one of the blandest foods I have ever eaten - I seriously think they didn't even use salt and pepper. Not only that but I ordered the eggs sunny side up as it's supposed to come and they came scrambled which made the burrito even worse. They weren't just scrambled they were also over cooked. My boyfriend got the borracho burrito and it was also disgusting. It looked like somebody shit in his burrito and it tasted like spaghetti! Honestly have gotten better burritos at Taco Bell. Not to mention for the 2 burritos it was $28 - absolutely ridiculous for what we were given. Was really hoping this place would be good but will never be returning. All I tasted was the tator tots and nothing else :( Burrito was advertised to have chili and a sauce on the side. Chili was not detected and hot sauce were packets of Cholula.
