We always come here when we're craving a smothered burrito! This spot never misses. The staff is already friendly, quick, and efficient. There is limited seating, but it seems majority take togo. We've also tried their bacon egg burrito which is delicious! Highly recommend this spot!

Went for breakfast with my daughter. I haven't had Tamale Kitchen in ages! I wanted a breakfast burrito, but I can't have flour tortillas. They made me one with just the filling. Perfect! The nice young man at the counter was friendly and helpful. The burrito was delicious! All the flavors! Tamale Kitchen was busy, but our order arrived quickly. We chose to eat in, and got a quiet table in the back. Yum! Very no-frills space, and it looks like they've expanded their menu since my last visit. Must go back soon!

Everything can improve. Cleanness, quality of food, and get the drink machine working.

New Mexican style food with excellent green chili. Best breakfast burrito in the area IMO.

Was there as soon as it opened and they were ready to serve. Friendly counter service that delivered a hot quick bacon egg and potato breakfast burrito. I was expecting a soupy mess inside but it was very well made. I was the only customer there so was nice and quiet. In and out. I liked the spice level of the chili. Not too spicy but had a good kick.

All potatoes. Where are the eggs???

Usually, they're pretty great but today was not great guy was rude and my breakfast burrito was 90% potatoes. Almost no eggs

In the mood for delicious street tacos? This is what you've been looking for. I had been here once…read moreand the food was really good. I don't remember what I ordered though so at the time it just wasn't very stand out-ish. I recently went back with some friends because I told them I was in the mood for tacos. I tried a few different ones, the Carnitas, the Barbacoa, and the Lengua. I was full with three, but it was so good. I ordered a fourth and my husband who normally gets my leftovers - didn't get any leftovers from me this time! He got a couple different tacos from what I had largely. We ordered about the same, but he got the shrimp which he said was delicious as well. I also tried the signature, Bellanova margarita - I must say that was a little unexpected, not your traditional margarita it was very sweet, so probably not something I'd order again since I prefer stronger tasting drinks, but the coconut flavor in it was delicious if you like coconut. The service was excellent! When we arrived, the interior was super packed and super loud so I was very relieved when we got to sit on the back patio, which turned out great because even though there was a little noise there, we were able to hear each other much better. The server was excellent. She kept checking on us. She answered all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. I've been thinking about the tacos since then, it's been about a week, I can't wait to go back.

The corn tacos were very fresh and table service was great. They have a great selection of drinks, alcoholic and regular, and our server was fast but didn't rush us at all. The only confusing thing about our visit was that we had to wait in the back of the restaurant for our table, fine no issues with that. Except that they told me someone would be "right there" to get a drink order for when we were waiting for our table. Sure, well after 10 minutes no one had come by where we were sitting to get our order. We even tried to nicely flag down a server, but no one listened. So I went up to the bar myself and was sharply told, "no, you'll have to wait for someone to come by. We can't have anyone up here." Okay??? A server did soon after stop by, however I found that process not smooth at all. Overall, though, a good restaurant and I would even love to stop by there for brunch sometime.

I'm partial to the Enchiladas, Chile Relleno, Taquitos with consumè, and the chilaquiles. If you ask for it, they'll bring the heat unlike many places out here. The service is always fantastic. Usually Monica takes care of me when I come in during the week and she's always cool to chat with and takes care of my order. The service as a whole is really good here.

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per

I went in and had a dinner about three months ago with my partner. we both agreed very quickly that…read morethis was probably one of the lower tier restaurants we've ever been to ever. We only stopped here because it's on the corner in our neighborhood. The chips were completely saturated in oil or grease, the entrées we had did not have much flavor like you would expect in a typical Mexican restaurant. On our way out we met with the owner. Tim had a neon advertisement sign hanging in the window that was flickering and broken. Tim took my phone number and told me it was mine when his beer rep came in to take it down. He told me to come back in two weeks and I came back six times over three months (to be clear I didn't eat any other times I just was checking on the sign) It honestly seems like he was just trying to shove his poor quality food down my throat and force me to come back as a customer. Two nights ago I came in for the 6th time and met with Tim at the bar and asked him once again what was going on with the sign. Tim actually relocated it in the restaurant and decided to back out on our deal and not give me the sign. The funny part was he gave me his phone number like he was somebody super important and I needed it or something. He tried to give me a free dinner which I declined because you could not pay me to eat here again. He told me to call him the next day and that he would arrange delivery of the sign. I called him the next day and he never answered or return my call, completely ghosted by this guy. Then I text him the next day and he never returned my text or my call from the day before. I however, blocked his number after I sent him a text, letting him know how poorly his behavior was backing out on this deal and I told him how horrible the food was at his restaurant, he binge called me 39 times like an angry ex-girlfriend. You don't have to take my word for it just scroll down and look at how he engages with his customers that try to give him feedback on his restaurant. He's like an angry three-year-old that doesn't get his toy before bedtime. Has to have the last word in. If you have any type of dialogue with this guy, it will not go well. Like I said, just scroll down and look at what other customers have said and how he responds.... He calls his customers dumas.... Tim, you should realize these customers work very hard to earn the money to come into your establishment to waste it and when they share feedback with you to insult them like that, super sad on you dude. I absolutely will never come back to this restaurant again. There's a place not even 2 miles from there called los Dos Potrillos and they have 6 locations across Colorado. There's a reason for that because they serve amazing food and I recommend you go there. The ownership at Casa Caliente has zero ethics, dignity or respect (I can't stress it enough just scroll down and read other reviews that he's responded to and see it for yourself). Good luck to Tim, you absolutely need it. As of 5/5/2026 there is a poor 3.5 score here on Yelp for this place. Terrible. (I will bet you my life they'll be a response to this pointing all the blame to me just like all the ones down below. Just remember Tim every time you point a finger .....there's three pointing right back at yourself).

Fun funky decor, good selection of various margaritas and drinks. (I had the Diva Margarita). The menu is a good sized and has a nice variety - and it was refreshing to see so many salad options other than just a classic taco salad. We started with the chips and queso; the queso came out nearly boiling and was super tasty. I had the birra taco special with black beans and rice. The tacos were delicious! My friend had the enchilada which she said was good, but neither of us liked the super bland refried beans. We ate so much of the chips and queso that we did not have room to try one of many dessert options.

We waited an unreasonable amount of time for almost everything, and the staff seemed completely inattentive and disorganized the entire visit. It felt like customers were more of an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Trying to get simple things like drinks (we never got to order refills), check-ins, or updates on food took way too long, and communication from the staff was poor throughout the experience. Even when issues were brought up, there was urgency and concern but then forgotten the moment they walked away from the table. What made the experience even worse was that by the end of the meal, the service had become so bad that we were literally trying to pay just so we could leave, and even the manager could not seem to bring themselves to come process the payment in a timely manner. We sat there waiting just to give them our money and leave. Finally a different manager told us we can just leave no need to pay. Unfortunately, the bad service completely overshadowed the meal and made the overall experience frustrating enough that we would not return. This was our second time giving them a chance to make it up bc the first time wasnt any better :(
