First time trying this smash burger place and it was delicious. Have driven by this area before and never noticed it but it is a small location, tucked away a bit, so keep your eyes peeled when in this busy area! The young man who waited on me at the counter was so patient and sweet as I looked over the few options and placed my order. Every table inside was full and the energy was palpable with tons of laughter and stories. Definitely a popular place among the college students and I can see why! I got a single patty combo and had plenty of food. Wished I had room for banana pudding but will have to try that on my next visit. If you need a delicious burger without all the fuss definitely add Baddies Burger House into your quick bite rotation! read more

Just had delicious burgers here at a special pickelball event The burgers were being sold here hit n fresh..and they were fantastic . I met with Aiden the operations manager, and he was absolute fantastic with great service and he had pizzazz of selling his burgers with great passion!! The ambience of the restaurants in Athens I hear is full of great comfortable atmosphere enjoyable for food, friends and laughter. I highly recommend trying this burger and getting it the way that they sell it don't try to customize your burger as I am pretty picky, what I like on mine and when you order them directly the way that they have been made that is the ticket. Thumbs up guys will see you in the restaurant soon. Even though the menu is extremely limited (burgers, fries, pudding), it is good, simple, and reasonably priced. We came to try the banana pudding but were thrilled with the smash burgers and fries. They are making it fresh, an if a steamy burger bun like Krystal's is your thing.. give them a shot! You should also know the amount of meat for one patty is slightly more than a Krystal's single patty, but on a hamburger bun. So pretty much everyone is gonna need a double even a kid.. otherwise it's like the meat is an after thought. The Order - Double or Triple patty plain with raw onions, sauce on the side. The pickles are the sweet butter type which I don't like. I know it seems like a triple may be a lot but it's not. It maybe the equivalent to something in between 1/4 lb and 1/3 LB max. read more

My wife and I wanted to try a new place for us to have a hamburger. Located in Five Points. Place had a steady flow of people before a UGA basketball game. Order at a counter and they call your name when ready. My wife and I ordered the single combo with classic fries and a drink. We got our food very quickly. The burger was really good. The food was amazing! We were trying to find coffee and stumbled here instead. The wall art outside made it very inviting. Inside we found a menu and merch to be purchased. There is inside seating and outside deck seating. You can order just a burger or a combo. The combo is fries and a drink with the burger. They have loaded,Cajun and regular fries. They also have dessert, homemade puddings!! Banana, Reese's and cookiesncream. We weren't going to order a pudding but the owner gave us one to try for some feedback, we got the banana and I can tell you it did not disappoint!! Bring a bib! You are going to be covered with sweat from shoveling this food in your mouth so quickly along with you salivary glands in over drive and the dripping sauce of goodness redecorating you. I like hamburgers... I don't seek them out- until now. This food is incredible, memorable, and crave-able. I was floored at the first bite. I had a double cheeseburger. The employee at the counter recommended the seasoned fries and I am glad she did. The burger comes with grilled onions, sweet pickle slices and Baddies sauce. The combination of these elements was a eureka flavor profile one dreams about... similar to salted caramel... in my head I couldn't help think who thought this out and why has it taken so long? If you're into smash burgers this is as good as any. Personally I found them a bit overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere is typical of chain-type burger stops. The staff were friendly and accommodating. In my estimation it is as good as any other burger joint but not exceptional. read more

Nice addition to the county's food choices. This is a second site, started by a local, serving smashed burgers. Smashed burgers end up with the edges cooked crispier than the middle, unlike patties. Food 4/5 The menu is pretty limited We liked the burgers. We were not fond of the Cajun fries. -but that's a personal taste. They do offer other sides They have 4-5 puddings for dessert, including banana pudding and a pudding of the day. The children's meal has a small burger, small fries, small drink and small pudding-for $7. Counter ordering. Not table service. Service: 5/5. Employees, including the manager, were friendly, cheerful, & helpful. Great staff. Facility 4/5 nicely remodeled from previous occupant ! Clean, not crowded, and they have outside tables with umbrellas as well as the inside tables . Location 5/5 for Watkinsville, in the middle of a busy shopping area, although current road construction requires a little extra care in getting into the parking lot. read more

My first experience with Baddies will be my last! Ordered a double and it was terrible. The meat patties were so thin it came off the grill in pieces. You could see the bun through the pieces of 2 patties. I never write negative reviews but this is warranted. Plenty of good burger joints in the Athens area but Baddies does not make the list. read more

I Tried this place for the first time because my friends were raving about it. The first couple of my bites were good, but then it felt like too much of the same hot substance. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger though. Personally speaking, it was missing the brightness of fresh veggies. Also, we both couldn't tell if the fries we got had cajun seasoning on them or not, so I am not sure if we got the wrong ones or the flavor isn't very strong. The service was alright, and ambiance pretty standard. Obviously people really like this place, but I guess it just isn't for me. read more

The location for a traveler is the absolute worst but it's easy for the students at UGA to walk there so I won't complain much. I'm grateful I didn't get a scratch on my car . Ordering is fairly easy. It reminds me of a back in the day burger joint that serves burgers in a brown paper bag. I told my daughter, "I believe these burgers are about to be amazing" and they were! They were smash type burgers so I ordered a triple but it felt like a single. It was SO good, well seasoned and juicy! The sauce they use is amazing! It was fast paced so we ordered and I got my order in like 2 minutes! Although fast paced, it was not too loud in the restaurant. The young workers were very professional and mannerable. Last night I tried baddies for the first time and now I can fully understand the hype behind it from everyone in Athens. I was at sigma pi's spring party and decided to try a burger since they had a tent. I was skeptical at first since I was at a frat event, but the staff was super helpful and got me my food quickly after I ordered! I was expecting it to be much slower and mediocre given the environment, but I was thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be dining at their actual restaurant soon! read more

Really great smash burger and the caramelized onion with the sweet pickle is chefs kiss material. The only reason I have it 4 is because the fries did not travel well and were to soft. May have been the ride though. Really like the Baddies sauce and price was on point read more

We took our burgers to go and despite being a Friday at dinner, service was fast and our burger only took 10-minutes. Got the double baddie and the long and short is that it was everything you want from a "smash" style burger. Perfectly cooked (medium), a little messy, and juicy af. THE BEST GF BUN! This GF bun was 100% worth the $3 up charge. It's the size of normal bread, doesn't fall apart, and tastes amazing. I got the double burger and almost cried. We've been to Baddies 2 times. The first visit we found the food delicious and loved the generous serving of tasty banana pudding. I had no hesitation to suggest we pick up dessert there when my out of town guest wanted banana pudding. I found that the serving was half the size for the same price of our first visit. The bananas were black. It seemed more than a day past its prime. We were sorely disappointed. read more

I think the cheese used was Havarti, which is interesting, even though it's not supposed to be there, one would have expected provolone or mozzarella. I also had a couple of onion rings, very heavily breaded, cooked to perfection but tasted like fried chicken more than onion ring. This is not a negative review since the food was good and price/value was also good, it's just that neither item was "authentic" to the original target. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and most definitely order a burger because that is their thing.

We REALLY enjoyed the pork belly in Korean BBQ starter, absolutely fantastic. I had a double fish and chips, my wife the Royale burger. Loved the meal, wish we'd had room to try the sticky toffee pudding to see if it's as good as Ramsey's at Hell's Kitchen. Parking is limited, as is seating.

He lives in the area(ish) and recommended Trappeze Pub as a soliding dining option that is also very close to the venue and, having had a meal there, I can now corroborate that assessment. The space is quite big which made it super easy for us to grab a table. We were seated in a section of the restaurant with a bunch of booths so it was nice to have a quieter space where we could catch up with our friend and have a nice meal. For my dish I went with the grilled cheese BLT (muenster cheese with bacon, tomato, arugula and lemon thyme vinaigrette grilled on sourdough) and fries and I quite liked it! Nothing fancy but it was good and and I would absolutely try it again. Currently rocking the sober life so I can't speak to their beer line up personally but the menu did look quite robust! And as someone not drinking I must also recommend their root beer. Great casual spot perfect for a bite, a hang, or all of the above when hanging out around town.
