The food is really good, and the value for your dollar is also pretty good. the biscuits are big and filling. except for the cheese grits, which used to be cheesy, but now they keep adding plain grits to the pan out front when they're running low without adding more cheese, rather then getting a fresh pan. this place is horrible!!!! I will never, never give my business to a place that gives so little regards to their customers. I would leave a negative 100 if I could. This is the second time I've ordered a BACON and Cheese biscuit. I get to work and the first one has eggs, ok simple mistake and toss it. This morning I get there OVER THE INTERCOM ask again for a BACON AND CHEESE biscuit. Decided to come here on a Thursday morning. My first thought pulling up: what a large clean parking lot area! The patio also is in good condition and you can tell that management cares about the appearance of this local eatery. I walked inside to be greeted by almost the entire crew including the owner who was very friendly and walked me through the entire menu and my range of possibilities. Before heading out for the day he informed me that although he's the owner he puts a lot of trust in his team and informed me that if I am dissatisfied at all I should let one of them know. He said if I had a problem but don't say anything and never come back that is my problem. I think that attitude is great-he's definitely a manager who cares about the customer So about the food: I ordered the breakfast bowl with gravy. For less than four dollars you get 16 ounces of southern bliss. You can add an array of meats if you would like for an extra charge but unless you're super hungry I find that unnecessary because of the amount they give you already you is already a good bit. Also if you're in a hurry they have a drive-through! I'll definitely be back to try one of their burgers. Even though it's not one of the more popular breakfast joints in Athens I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. You will not be disappointed! read more

Stopped in for lunch and was really pleasantly surprised! I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was quite delicious. It looked like a standard burger but whatever patty they used was very filling and tasty! Someone else ordered a sausage biscuit and it was the biggest sausage patty I have ever seen. It was possibly larger than my burger patty! Definitely worth stopping in. Prices are reasonable and everyone left full. Admittedly, I was adverse to stopping here. Burgers...had my burger for the week already---doubt they'd have veggie anything. Biscuits, not my cup of flour. Ever. Well, not at quasi - fast food spots. Chicken wings, eh, maybe? I dunno. I was a passive bubbly ball of "eh's" and meh's" so I tip my hat to B & B's staff for changing my mind and being as lively as they were. B & B takes the idea of a tailgate party and wraps it into a small eatery. They have their burger menu on one side and biscuit menu on the other. For everything in between, a small paper menu with wings and other options they couldn't add to the wall menu for lack of room. I opted for a standard pulled pork sandwich combo with fries. The other order was a crispy chicken sandwich combo, but was mixed up and became a grilled chicken. If you order burgers or items with toppings they have a counter like at Subway where you can tell them what to add. Your choices there are slim and uncreative. Just white onions, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo... really slim. I was rather offset by this since the veggies weren't many and kinda sad in this environment. So why four stars? The food actually is pretty good. Even if it's just fast food without all the fluff. They have their concept, they work it, and the staff is really jovial. Decent noms, not greasy, okay space. I may or may not stop by again, but next time I won't be "eh" to getting a grilled sandwich. read more

A place has to really mess it up for me to not like it. On the one hand, they were very accommodating. We got there a few minutes after they stop serving breakfast, and they were willing to get us some smoked sausage biscuits going. They were also quite friendly, but everything else left much to be desired. Firstly, I ordered an unsweetened tea, and, within 10 minutes, I was vomiting. I don't know if they had not cleaned their tea urn in months, hadn't brewed new tea for a few days, or what reason this occurred, but there is not any great reason for giving your customers food poisoning. That really soured my overall experience. Secondly, the biscuits were pretty standard. I'd rather go to Hardee's to get breakfast, which would cost less. Thirdly, I did not enjoy the aesthetic. It was grimy and on the verge of disrepair. To be fair, I haven't tried their burgers, but I'm not exactly inclined to risk my health to find out. read more

Man this is really bad. If you were wondering what a hockey puck tastes like this is your place. Frozen/premade burgers taste like they are cooked the night before and left in a warming tray. I've tried to like this place, believe me. I've tried it on 3 separate occasions over the last 8 months and it has been lackluster food at best each time. The chicken biscuit was soggy, and the actual chicken tasted like a frozen reheated chicken patty. The cheeseburger bun also came out a soggy mess. The burger patties were severely dry and flavorless. The fries unseasoned and soggy. Avoid this place and save your money. My family and I had this for breakfast while visiting Athens, I searched for breakfast places and was hoping for a locals only type of place as I am considering UGA for school and wanted a feel for the local atmosphere. When we walked in I was surprised to find it was more of a fast food joint with a drive through around back. I was ready to leave and find a more "locals only" type of place, but the manager (I assume) came out and greeted us. He was so nice, accommodating, and welcoming that he ended up making us want to stay. We ordered breakfast biscuit sandwiches and they were good and actually a very cheap meal. Inside seating is bar-styled and faces the windows with a street view. Outside seating are booths. Overall decent food, very cheap, tons of UGA Dawgs memorabilia decor inside, and the BEST management. read more

I ordered a regular cheese burger and quickly noticed that the burger patties are stored up front in a container with the toppings like it's a subway. Then the cheese was rock hard and when I asked them if they could melt it, I was told the only option was microwaving the burger. Complete shit hole of a restaurant, should focus less on the whole UGA theme and more on improving the crap food. We have lived in Athens for 12 years. In all that time we have never found a decent hamburger restaurant. At 85 I'm not one to hand out compliments easily but this has to be an absolutely sensational place. The food is hot, delicious and very reasonably priced. I got the 16 oz breakfast bowl:grits,sausage,and cheese. It was in a 160z cup that was just half filled with stiff cold grits and sausage crumbled on top. I also ordered a 20oz drink. Sausage was good but was disappointed that it is advertised as a 16oz bowl but only had a half cup and the fact that the grits were stiff and cold made it get hard to mix the ingredients around. Please do better. I'm so over spending my money on food that others serve you and wouldn't want or eat it themselves. read more

When you look for a hole in the wall Burger Joint you look for a place that is usually run down. This place has all the nice exterior features you would expect from a nice new restaurant with great tasting food of your Hole in the Wall Restaurant. I'm pretty sure I met the owner cooking the food, super nice guy Joey. He recommended a double bacon cheeseburger that was out of this world. Something better than I usually cook on the grill. He let me sample a biscuit and some chicken fingers. All we're very good if I lived a lot closer I'd come here and try the breakfast. it was fantastic based on the sample he gave me. The gravy was white and goopy and tasted like glue seasoned with lots of pepper. Clearly came out of a large vat. Didn't try the burgers nor the eggs and bacon, so maybe there are redeeming qualities, but nothing on my plate was acceptable, so I can't say. A great place to stop in and get a biscuit, or a burger. I've only been in the morning though. The biscuits are large and tasty. Everyone inside was very, very friendly. The owner is always there in the mornings and is quick to say hello and goodbye to every customer that comes through the door. If you happen to chat with him he will probably share his business vision with you which is quite interesting. The restaurant is decked out in UGA colors and spirit, obviously because it is located in Athens. But don't be afraid to wear your team colors in there! I was decked out in Clemson orange as I was on the way to see my Tigers play those good for nothing Seminoles in Tallahassee ;). The owner will be quick to tell you that the TEAM in the title has double meaning. First and foremost his definition of TEAM is for ALL of us. As in TEAM USA first, school spirit second. He is a staunch supporter of the Military and explained to me that school spirit is the fun part. This place is a great restaurant that also is trying to promote a positive message coupled with a fun atmosphere. If you are an Athenian or just passing through, be sure and stop by! read more

This is probably my favorite breakfast restaurant in town. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. The service is prompt, and the staff is fantastic. We had a wonderful talk with the owner who said he was considering opening another one closer to the UGA campus and we couldn't be more excited!
