Look no further! Barbara and her team are AMAZING. We have attended both private and group classes and could not be happier. We love that they have a year option as it makes attending classes super flexible and helps us keep up on all our training goals. Can't wait to get back into puppy class with our newly rescued pup!

My dog as an 8 week old puppy at BAFdogs.

BADdogs is very important to me because my dog is hopefully going to be my service dog. The force free training is incredible! I absolutely LOVE that my dog is learning without the use of choke collars and instead is learning with all positivity and earned rewards. It makes training so much fun for both me and my dog. Barbara is always there when I need answers to a question, and I ask A LOT of questions! The team is patient with me as well. When I don't understand something they take the time to make sure that I do, which I really appreciate. I've been going to BADdogs since my pup was 8 weeks old and he is now 8 months old and we will continue with BADdogs for a year of training. My dog has learned so many great foundational skills that we will continue to build on as he grows. My pup is pretty big, so one of the greatest things we've learned is how to not greet people with jumping, all without the use of harm by kneeing my dog in the chest or stepping on his toes (previous ways many of us have learned as an effective "training" technique). I have recommended BADdogs to several friends who have puppies or dogs with bad habits. I would recommend BADdogs to anyone who is looking for help with their dog because of the force free training. I truly love it and wish this way of training was around when my previous dogs were alive. Thank you Barbara and the BADdogs treat! I am so grateful I found you!

This is based on just my first meeting with Barbara and her interactions with our dogs, Max and Maddie. We met for an introduction to see what exactly could be done with issues between the dogs. Nothing major was wrong she explained and put my mind at ease right away. The dogs really seemed interested in her and while there was no hands-on "training" going on, she was watching and commenting on every move they made. She KNEW her stuff! The psychology behind their behaviors and how to work with issues. I can't wait to see how Max and Maddie do under her training. PLUS...she's a really sweet woman!

My boyfriend and I have tried almost every dog training available, but nothing was addressing our Australian Cattle Dog's underlying fear and anxiety, she has a history of being terrified of strangers, growling and trembling when anyone who she wasn't familiar with was around. It was truly heartbreaking because our dog is "perfect" with just the two of us: affectionate, attentive listener, loves to please, great at tricks, and really just an all around goofball and joy. Needless to say we came to Barbara in desperate times because we had tried everything else, but I really wish that we started with her! Its been about 5 lessons now and the improvement we see in our dog's confidence is astronomical, some friends (who are strangers to our dog) came over to our house the other day and our dog was so friendly, snuggly, and just happy to be with them! This is a statement we weren't sure we could ever make! I cannot recommend Barbara enough for her support and knowledge! It definitely takes work - we've been doing the assigned homework nightly but it actually is a blast watching the gears turning in our pup's mind, plus she has so much fun with it! The entire experience has been beyond rewarding, and we cannot wait for what the future holds! Thank you so much Barbara!

This is a bit long, but stick with me, it's worth the read. :)…read more I want to share this because I know how overwhelming life with dogs can feel when things spiral out of control, and because truly great dog trainers are rare. Last year, I lost my dog Chloe. I had her for 15 years, and losing her completely broke my heart. Afterward, I adopted Lily, a multipoo who had never been out of a cage. She came from a puppy mill and was deeply traumatized. She shook constantly, wouldn't come to me, wouldn't let me touch her, and had severe anxiety. She was peeing and pooping in the house nonstop. I tried everything I knew. I tried love, patience, reassurance. Nothing worked. I was exhausted and completely at a loss. Then life threw me another curveball. A client of mine broke her hip after tripping over her dog and had to move into assisted living. I took in her one-year-old Schipperke named Daisy. If you aren't familiar with this breed, 'the little black devil.' Daisy is the sweetest, smartest dog in the world and also an absolute mischievous chainsaw in a tiny body. Endless energy, barking at people and dogs, running through the house nonstop, biting my neighbor on the ankle and even the gardener, and bullying Lily relentlessly. My house turned into chaos overnight. On top of that, I still had my 13-year-old dog Rocky, who is basically the best-behaved dog on the planet and thankfully not part of the problem. I didn't know what to do anymore. That's when I called Jennifer. Jen took Daisy for a two-week board-and-train, and when Daisy came home, she was a completely different dog. Not perfect, but honestly a million times better. She sleeps in a crate now, no longer bullies Lily, listens extremely well, and while she still barks, it's nothing like before. We're still working on it with Jen, but the transformation was incredible. After that, I sent Lily to Jen. What happened next honestly felt like a miracle. Lily no longer pees or poops in the house. She sleeps in a crate. She comes when I call her. She's happy. She plays. She acts like a dog now, not a scared abuse victim. She still has moments of anxiety and fear, but she is doing a million times better, and the difference is night and day. Jen didn't just train my dogs. She gave them structure, confidence, and safety. She gave me peace in my own home again. She understands dogs on a level that is rare, especially dogs with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. If you are struggling, overwhelmed, or don't know what else to do, I cannot recommend Jen enough. She is patient, intuitive, honest, and incredibly skilled. She truly changed our lives.

We had an introductory meeting and felt very comfortable. He walked through his 3 week and 5 week board and train options and what to expect with each. We chose the 5 week program which trains him to basic commands on AND off leash. It was super difficult to hand over our dog for 5 weeks, but as difficult as it was, I can honestly say it was worth it. Simply put, it was life changing for us. Bryan provided weekly updates and videos so we could see how our dog was doing and help us get over missing him. Our dog still has his silly personality, but is now controllable on and off leash. Bryan was able to improve his mindset so not only does he obey commands, but has learned to relax. I cannot recommend Bryan more highly.

As the year went on, it was increasingly difficult to train him and he was just overpowering the kids. He didn't realize his own size and just wanted to play so much, but in playing, he would knock over the kids and it lead to most of his day needing to be spent in his crate. He had so much energy after getting out that he would pull constantly and just be his own dog. My spouse and I decided to look for help. We looked everywhere and vetted big business to small business. This was a very long process and somehow stumbled upon this page. I was very intrigued by a lot of the previous reviews. Almost too good to be true reviews. Eventually Contacted the owner (Bryan) and we had a good conversation. Started with questions about the dogs personality, what the goal and objective was, and how to get there. I don't want to go into too much detail because that conversation was so refreshing. I knew from that convo that Bryan was a true dog lover and trainer. Not someone just trying get the $$$$ After the conversation, we had a meet and greet and that went even better than the phone conversation. Bryan went into great detail the steps in what the board and train entails. My spouse and I were immediately invested. Both for the family and the happiness of our dog. We wanted happiness for everyone. We scheduled the time for the board and train (Took the 4 week option). We felt this was the best option for our family and our dog. It was an investment in our family and I wanted the best So now it's time to drop off Rufus. It was weird not having him in our home but knew it was for the best. Bryan again gave great detail into all the steps and what would happen during the 4 weeks. Each Friday for the 4 weeks we would get a private YouTube link on everything Rufus learned and his progress. Within the first week, he was a completely different dog. I've never seen him listen so much on the video. Those videos are all self explanatory so I wont get into those details either. Just know that they are very well detailed videos and you wont help but smile on your dogs progress Each week was upped to the next level of the defined training and it was a joy watching all the changes that have been made. As the weeks crept up to us getting Rufus back, we were excited with anticipation. On the day of pickup, we went through our own owner training with Bryan. Got very detailed with what we needed to do and how to continue the training for the rest of his life. It ended up being really fun. Rufus has now been home for a week and he his fully integrated to the home. He has a special place in our living room. The kids are happy they can play with him and pet him. Rufus is all smiles, droll and tail wags. This was indeed life changing for our family. Also Side note, Bryan made himself available for Boarding as well. We have been using the boarding services before and after the board and train. Experience was way better than any dog hotel I've used in the past for extended family trips. Bryan was the most genuine when it came to his business. You can tell he loves what he does. That's how I knew this was the place to go. I highly recommend. Also, even though board and train has been completed, he still checks on us after. He will be available for the life of the dog. Def cant go wrong with that

Watching Instagram and YouTube videos won't give you a well-behaved dog. Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!
