I think they have good beer and an excellent beer garden. The problem I have is I went to food truck Friday at 5:30. They had no one serving beer outside, why wouldn't you have someone to sell beer at your 2 outside bars. I would say about 50 people were outside, but people had to go inside to buy a beer as they were not staffed to sell anything outside. ? Why. read more

Rude bartenders, when my boyfriend asked if they had food all the bartender said was frozen pizzas, when I asked if they had live music I was told idk I just started working here look at the sign over there. Was treated like I was a nuisance. I don't expect you to be an expert but at least don't act like basic questions are annoying, you work in the service industry. Come on guys. read more

Great outdoor patio and beer selection. It is dog friendly but need to keep them on a leash, which stinks because it's hard to enjoy yourself when they just want to play. 3 stars for now but I plan on returning to update this review. I come in from out of state on business occasionally. 2 reasons for the 3 stars; 1. I'm the kind of beer connoisseur that believes any brewery with capabilities and equipment such as this one, should have at least 3 varieties of IPA's, at all times. Both times I've come here they've only had 1, as guest taps were kicked and they were having troubles pouring the other. I do appreciate there variety with hitting all styles of beer though, just need more IPA's. 2. With only 2 people working behind the bar, it doesn't take much of a crowd to get backed up and standing around for 5-10 minutes waiting for a beer is no fun. read more

Badger State Brewing Company is a beautiful place, and a wonderful concept, but the beers felt very "touristy". Lots of fruit beers offered and many beer descriptions used buzz words that didn't truly match the flavor profiles. Seems they are catering to craft beer beginners, which is probably a good tactic given the location, but disappointing for someone who truly appreciates a variety of craft brews. read more

Love this place. Beer only (it's a tap room, not a restaurant) with an excellent selection of their own brews plus a number of guest beers. Selection changes fairly frequently with their "standbys" always on tap. We're fans of flights and their 4 oz snifters are just right. You write your selections on the tray so there's no question of what you ordered. Badger is relatively new but they do a good job with their beers; good selection and depth of quality/flavor. Plenty of room to sit at the bar or tables and an outdoor beer garden when the weather permits (dogs allowed outside). Inviting and well-appointed furnishings. Gift shop is near the entrance. One of my "have to stop" breweries Every time I am back in town. First, the venue is great, quietly tucked with in the area of Lambeau Field. Two, the beer is top-notch, with favorites being typically anything they do as a pilot series as well as their double dry hopped grassy place varieties. Great local brewery made by locals! They have a great assortment of their own beer (obviously) as well as guest brewers. While they don't serve food- they often have amazing food trucks right outside and let you bring in/order in food from outside vendors. Another big plus: the tap room is dog friendly! If I had to change one thing it would be better hours on away Packer game days. Those Sundays they don't open until noon and they're missing out on a lot of possible patrons wanting to pregame! read more

Had two different beers here. The delusion and the pilsner. Both were fantastic. This brewery had a great atmosphere and if you are visiting green bay you have to make this one of your stops. We tried this on a friday evening. We had a few different beers from porters to ipa. Very nice. They also have a food truck dude outside that has from fish tacos to burgers. Reasonable prices. Definitely coming back. The only complaint I would have is that the staff swear quite a bit. Not a fan of cursing. To me it shows lack of intelligence. I went here on a Saturday for a Packer home game the following day. The atmosphere inside was really good and it looked like they had a bunch of solid beers on tap. I was really excited to try them all and when I went up to bar and said I would like a taster of all of them he said he couldn't do that because they were too busy and I could only order 2 at a time. I was disappointed and that is why I gave them 4 stars out of 5. The good news is that it saved me money because we ended up leaving after 1 pint and a few tasters instead of making it a night there like I wanted to. The beer that I had was really good. It was good enough for me to stop here before the Packer game the next day. They had a band playing outside which was nice. I would go back again in a heartbeat. read more

I have stopped in a couple times, and the staff is always wonderful and that which they have on tap is always a treat. But, what I'd really like to address is the manner in which I have been treated by Tom as I have pestered him via e-mail about getting a 1/4 barrel of beer for an event I am hosting. Tom has been patient, kind, and willing to answer all my questions. What is amazing is that this is not the first time I have dealt with him. Knowing my propensity to ask questions, he was still patient and willing to deal with me a 2nd time! Kudos! read more

Great beer and nicely decorated interior It's convenient to bring in your own food, and they have food trucks on Fridays. Another neat addition is the "guest feature" beers that rotate often. The only negative is that the staff generally seems unhappy to work there--it's dominated by males who don't smile, don't describe the beer or point out the new features, and the prices are more expensive when compared to other breweries in the area as many of the pints are $6-7. read more

Right behind Brett Favre's Steakhouse near Lambeau, this is a great stop while you're in town. Compared to warehouse like setting it had a year or so ago, this brewery has come a long way. This is another favorite Green Bay Brewery of mine. I went here the first weekend they were open all you could get is some merch and fill up a growler. Since then they have a tap room that's fantastic. They have close to 20 tapped beers. Half of them are their beers and the other half are beers from other Wisconsin breweries. Now they have about 5 or 6 regulars beers that they make, but they are constantly coming up with new beers. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with the different beers because they make them in such small batches. Some of my favorite beers are the Green Chop IPA, Walloon Wit Bier, Dubious Ruffian Chocolate Stout and the Buzzy Badger. Also this is a fun place to go for Packer games as they have a beer garden with games and music, plus it's close to Lambeau. read more

Their own brews are my favorite, but they also offer an amazing selection of WI craft beer! They don't serve food, but offer snacks and you can bring your own food in or order it to their location! They do have food trucks on Packer Gamedays! Great for a unique experience by Lambeau Field! I hope they bring in even more amazing bands! Great beer here! It's close to the Packers games and lots of room. The selection of local beer and Badger beer. You can find a beer or several for everyone in your group. The prices are very fair. Love this place. They do IPAs like a boss. And their stouts are fantastic (Dubious Ruffian and Buzzy Badger are my favs). The atmosphere has a great vibe with the board games, the murals, and lots of fun-loving people. Really cool atmosphere. Love the BYOF idea. Beer glasses are very unique, and brews were acceptable. The "order at the bar" idea does not work great, as patrons wait a LONG time for service. I am sure this is to assist with labor costs, but there is still not enough labor at the bar. read more
