Excellent service and the food was on the pricier side but tasty with a nice helping of protein

This fusion will never disappoint. We took some friends for dinner and this location and the food was delicious. We had enough sitting inside to enjoy our night. I try the bowl with chicken and guac with many fresh ingredients. The frozen rosé was amazing with the fruits on top . We also try the Horchata, which is always so delicious and refreshing.

I LOVE Oaxaca! We usually get it via delivery and the food is always amazing quality and delicious. I have tried many Mexican places around town, but Oaxaca beats out the competition. I usually order the steak quesadilla with a side of guacamole and chips. The quesadilla comes with a delicious cumin dipping sauce that I'm hooked on! The food is top quality and so yummy!

Delicious food and happy staff. Menu is slim: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls, overpriced alcohol. However, the food was delicious, freshly prepared with real herbs and grilled to order. We only ordered burritos but possibly the best I ever ate. Relaxed setting: Outdoor seating or indoor air conditioning. No tablecloths or finery. They have a loyalty reward club.

Great location, great service, phenomenal food. Seating inside or outside. Modern, clean decor. Service was friendly and our waters were never empty. We ordered chips and guac to start. Guacamole was perfect. Chilled, good portion, fresh, chunky, just enough lime and jalapeño. Just delicious. Chips were awesome. Tuna cruda taco was so interesting and delicious. Fresh and highly recommend. Pollo asado and carnitas tacos both phenomenal- great flavor and good portion. Hot sauce was delicious on both. Pollo bowl was HUGE. Delicious flavors and meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Cannot say enough great things- just try it out. You won't regret it.

Friend just moved to the area and we noticed how close it was ... walking distance. We were intrigued by the description of Asian/Mexican fusion so we walked over. The location is great. This area is very up and coming and surrounded by a plethora of other businesses. I will say the place is very very small. Limited seating. But the decor is very modern. The service was decent. Nothing outstanding. The menu is small but the food....honey....it was great. Portion size is not a problem. They had me at the homemade chips. I will say that if you like spicy make sure to ask for extra spicy bc idk who they were trying to fool with what the consider spicy. I had the short rib bowl and man..the flavors were extremely on point. The meat was tender. A guy next to us had a burrito - it was huge. Definitely get on over and try this place.

Came to visit my hometown and tried out this new spot with my mother. We were coming back from the beach, and found this cute little place on yelp. The employees were all nice, felt like family which is a hit or miss in Miami, ESPECIALLY after covid if we're being honest. The food was delicious! The chips and guac were irresistible, i enjoyed my moms carnitas burrito (actually wanted to eat all of it haha) I took a bite and everything together just meshed so well! I ordered the beef short rib taco which was wonderful! And the pollo asado taco which was good. The chicken quality and seasoning was amazing, however i couldn't enjoy eating just an onion & chicken taco. Overall, I left here satisfied and full, we will be coming in again on our next beach visit ! Thank you Oaxaka!

I really enjoyed this tiny restaurant. The vibe is on point. I think the attention to detail on the glasses and the bar is something that makes it a really cute spot to go to. Only a few tables so I would recommend a reservation. They do have plenty of seating at the bar.I really enjoyed the tuna taco. I would highly recommend the short rib quesadilla. The burrito was super tasty. I also really appreciate it that they had very thick chips and delicious guacamole. Very affordable spot has a good happy hour. We had a burrito, quesadilla, four tacos, guac and chips, a craft beer, and Frose for $65 during happy hour

Great food and atmosphere. There are family owned businesses and the ingredients are delicious and fresh.

Everything was really good. We had five different meals. The price was not too bad. I highly recommend a build your own bowl with rice and I tried two different meats and it was delicious. Spicy tuna was good but had a little bit too much mail. The chips and guac was fabulous.

Just one block south of Hollywood Boulevard, this small Mexican-Asian Eatery packs a big punch. From their delicious vanilla horchatas to their bowls, you are sure to find something you will like. As soon as I was seated I was greeted and brought a small glass of cold water (big points!) I got chips and salsa to start. It came with homemade chips that, although in the thicker side, were freshly fried and salted. The small wooden tray also included red salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was fresh! A little more lime for my taste but delicious nonetheless. The menu offers tacos, quesadillas, bowls. But some feature an Asian twist so why not try something different? I went for the tuna crudo bowl. The bowl came with cilantro-lime rice, yellowfin tuna, kimchee sauce, cucumber, sliced avocado, cilantro, fresh jalapeños and cumin-lime crema. The tuna is the clear star of this dish! Now I need to try their tuna crudo tacos!! I also ordered a side of their black beans which needed just a pinch of salt but other than that, they were very good. Service was friendly, prompt and courteous. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items on the menu.

The restaurant is nice and clean. We can't for Friday lunch service and it's not too busy at all. We h got our food promptly. The parking downtown was a lil bit of a pain. There are more availability along the side street next to the train track. The yuzu plan was my favorite item from every thing that we tried. The tuna poke was refreshing and the fish was pretty good. The tacos wrapper is a lil stale so it's not very pleasant. The highly anticipated item Short ribs tacos flavor is underwhelming n the meat is dry.

The girl at the bar was so rude it honestly felt like she didn't want to serve us -- or even have us there at all. We waited about an hour for a table, only to find out that the "welcoming" host somehow couldn't find my phone number... even though I literally saw it on her screen. Impressive. It seems our table was generously given to someone else instead of, you know, actually calling us. We arrived at 7:00 PM, got seated at 8:15, and our food showed up around 9:00 PM -- so if you enjoy long-term commitments, you'll love their service speed. Both the service and kitchen move at a very... relaxed pace. Pro tip: come here full, maybe have a drink, enjoy the scenery, and leave. That's about all this place can reliably deliver.

Unfortunately, the service this time was so rude and unprofessional that it ruined the entire experience. From the moment our waitress approached the table, she appeared irritated and impatient. When ordering drinks, my husband asked for an unsweet tea (the raspberry-style tea they serve). I asked for the same tea with sugar packets. She insisted it was "Thai tea," and I corrected her--multiple times--clearly stating that I did not want Thai tea, just unsweet tea with sugar. Despite this, she brought me a Thai tea, a $6 drink and with ice $7, which I did not order. Before I could correct it, she rushed away. The tea happened to be good, so I let it go rather than make a scene--something I now regret. When she delivered our appetizer, she dropped it on the table without a word. No explanation, no courtesy, no acknowledgment. The same thing happened when she brought our entrées--food was placed down silently and abruptly, as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. When my husband ran out of tea, she finally returned and said, "Oh, would you like tea?" Then immediately asked if we wanted our food, clearly rushing us. Meanwhile, the cleanup crew repeatedly tried to take our plates while we were still eating, creating an uncomfortable and hurried atmosphere. The worst moment came at checkout. I handed her my debit card, completed the transaction, and still left a very good tip, even though the service was poor. She looked at the screen and said, "This is for the tip?" I confirmed it was. She then yanked the payment machine out of my hand, pulled the card out, and threw it on the table. That behavior is completely unacceptable under any circumstances. I stood up to address the situation, but my husband encouraged me to leave instead. I have never been treated with such open disrespect by a server. The food may be good, but no meal is worth being treated this way. Management seriously needs to address this level of hostility and lack of professionalism.

It's hidden inside Reunion Kitchen (another restaurant). First you check in with the hostess at Reunion. Then she takes you to the back, in an area you didn't know exists, where there's a dark narrow hallway and a locked door shrouded in the dark on the other end. Your hostess guides you through the dark hallway and then clandestinely punches in the code at the locked door and, voila, the door opens into a cozy serene restaurant (Blind Tiger) with a sushi counter and a few tables that can serve not more than maybe 20 people at a time. It feels small, private, tranquil, special. We were the first to arrive when it opened and we had the restaurant to ourselves for about the first half of our meal which felt amazing, like they'd opened up just for us. Our server Julian was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking good care of us throughout the entire evening. He also gave us the best recommendations on how to most enjoy the Blind Tiger experience, which we all did. The food is excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Some of us had the Omakase tastings and all of us tried several à la carte dishes. The Trio Crispy Rice is a must eat. The Black Cod Miso was absolutely lovely too--and it's fantastic that you can order either a half or full portion of it. The lychee martinis were crisp, clean and sweet. Definitely recommend this unique spot for a special experience!

The ambiance is always beautiful, especially being located inside Aventura Mall, and the atmosphere is one of the reasons we wanted to return. When we first arrived, the service was attentive while taking our appetizer and sushi orders. However, after placing both our appetizers and entrées, the service noticeably slowed down. We started with the Otoro Nigiri, Shrimp Dumplings, and Lamb Spare Ribs, and they were all delicious, fresh, tender and flavorful. No complaints there at all. The issue came with one of our entrées. The Toku Ramen, Kung Pao Chicken, and Braised Short Ribs all arrived together, aside from my Shrimp Fried Rice. After waiting a few minutes, one server told us it was on its way, while another said it was just being plated. It ended up taking another 20-25 minutes before it finally arrived, making it seem like the order may not have been put in initially. It was disappointing because everyone else at the table had finished their meals before mine even arrived, so I just ended up getting a to-go box. After that, service continued to be slow, and it took quite a while to receive our check. I was especially disappointed because I had recommended Toku to my family based on my previous visit. Although the food continues to be excellent and full of flavor, the service this time unfortunately took away from what could have been another great dining experience.
