I have a top end German made air conditioning and heating unit that came from Germany. All of the labeling is in German and 36 years ago when it was installed I thought I really had something great, that is until it broke. Service people that I called didn't want to try and repair it as they may wind up breaking it more. So I was looking for a replacement unit. Jay Baehr came out to give me a replacement quote and asked me why not try and fix it. I said if he was willing to try, I was more than willing to pay him to try, and he was willing to start now. I was looking at over $10K to replace the unit. Jay started from the thermostat wires and traced the lines and after 2 hours it was fixed. I had called to have assistance with my home Furnace. I had a representative on the line and I expressed my furnaces has a propane leak&a water line that was leaking onto the furnace that as near electric plugs. Explained turning off the water and propane and my fears of potential fire due to the propane leak& water. The representative ignored the urgency even after exclaiming this was an emergency. I stated if this isn't an emergency line or company that can help tell me so I can get help : the representative continued to ignore me and ask how I heard about the Buisness and what apps I had to share their business -! They installed a whole new AC/Heating system about 2 1/2 yrs ago. it stopped running. They sent Dakota to troubleshoot the problem. He eliminated several potential causes and identified a failed blower motor. Got on the phone immediately and ordered a new unit. Would be available next day but he was booked for another job. But they had a cancellation and he was able to return the day after the holiday and got it installed in no time. He and his office stayed in contact with me by phone and text each step of the way. My dad and I were house sitting for a friend in Rough and Ready. We live 2 hrs away in Vacaville, so we're not familiar with companies in this area. While house sitting my friend's cat decided to swat my dad's medicine bottle down a floor vent. This is medicine my dad needs because he has Parkinson's. I immediately started calling around to see if something like that could even be retrieved. A couple of places told me no they couldn't retrieve it.
