The avocado bagel was completely unseasoned--I honestly couldn't eat it. How do you serve avocado without even a little salt? Once I added salt myself, it tasted much better. I also got the garlic butter bagel. It was a little stiff and hard to chew, but it was still okay. Maybe next time I'll try the egg and cheese on a different bagel. The staff were friendly, even though it was busy inside. The atmosphere was nice, and the food came out pretty quickly.

I'm so happy to have a great legit NYC bagel shop north of Austin-it was much needed! Love their sourdough bagels. My favorite is their sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich . Their plain cream cheese on the everything bagel was also very good. The cream cheese is so creamy all made in house! I also tried their toasted marshmallow latte and it was good 8/10. Loved that it wasn't super sweet either! Staff is so friendly and their indoor space is quite spacious with a lot of tables. I'll be back for more!

GET HERE NOW! The bagels have such great flavor and the TEXTURE is to die for. The homemade cream cheese was an explosion of flavor and if we ate bagels more I would have gotten a whole tub of it. The bacon, egg and cheese was made fresh and you could tell the quality of the ingredients! The workers were very nice and personable! You need get get here asap and have a delicious bagel and coffee!

This is my second time stopping by, and it's a must stop for bagel lovers in the area. The staff is warm and friendly and greets everyone who walks in. Today they were offering samples of different flavors. Bagels are massive and delicious.

Hands down one of the best bagel options in Austin area... yes I know it's in cedar park, but really the options in the city don't compare... I've tried them all (David roughies, rock star, Casper, Rosens, etc). Owner is amazing and from NYC... learned there and has recently moved to the area. Really great unique flavors and tasty coffee/drinks too. Highly recommend!! The BEC is amazing but they have date cream cheese that is insane.

My new favorite bagel spot in Cedar Park! I was craving a lox bagel and decided to treat myself. I came in around 9 AM on a Wednesday, and it was nice and quiet. There was only one other person there working on their laptop. Since it was my first time, the man working there offered me free bagel samples and helped me choose the best bagel type for the Austin Lox. He explained that all of their bagels are sourdough, with bagels sourced from Philadelphia and salmon from New York. I noticed a sign listing their cream cheese flavors and was shocked to see a date flavor. I mentioned I would try it next time and he went to the back and brought me a generous sample that was at least a couple of tablespoons. It was so good. I also ordered an iced Dubai latte with oat milk. It tasted like an iced mocha, just a bit more bitter and similar to dark chocolate or a French hot chocolate. I would 100% come back. The staff was so nice, the shop is super cute, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center.

We enjoyed our visit here! The actual bagels (the dough) of course were the best part and we tried one with bacon egg and cheese as well as one with smoked salmon. It was quite tasty and satiating which was nice and it was nice to see a variety of bagel opens available. I also didn't realize that they had a drive thru so I might have to utilize that next time for convenience's sake. I'll definitely be returning so I can try other bagels there! Shoutout to the lady making the drinks, she was very sweet.

Great Bagels! Been looking for a new bagel spot near us. This one checks all the boxes. They also have killer lattes and coffee drinks. High quality bagels, bagel sandwiches, and baked goods. Interior is pretty modern, and clean. Folks working there were very nice and seemed to enjoy their job. Food was out quick- the Austin Lox was delicious, very good portions.

This is a fabulous locally-owned bagel shop. The bagels have great shine, good chew, and soft texture. They are made fresh daily in a variety delicious flavors. And best of all, they taste great! I'm happy to be able to shop local for my bagel needs now.

Lovely bagel shop that opened not too long ago on Parmer, and I'm already a fan. Why? Mainly the friendliness of the owner Mo (With his New York roots) and his warmness every time I've visited. What I REALLY liked is the creativity of their bagel flavors. From Za'tar, rosemary to churro bagels alongside with the classics (like sesame, everything and plain ones) they make everything in house. Plenty of flavored cream cheeses as well, the date one was a huge hit with us as well as their scallion flavored one. Every time im in the area I pass by and get a lox bagel and a bag of bagels to take home. Unlike other bagel joints they're also open later which is a huge plus. The restaurant is cute as well with some really nice murals that are inviting. Highly recommended, and the prices are reasonable as well. Hope to see Bagel Bear stick around for a long time to come!

Absolutely fabulous customer service. Such friendly staff and cute, open seating. Delicious flavors of bagels and schmears, and weekend specials flavors. Very affordable comparing to other bagel shops too.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on Everything Bagel

Visited Bagel Bear on my way to Cedar Park. The interior is spacious, clean, and full of natural light. I purchased the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel itself had plenty of seasoning and a great texture. As for the sandwich, it's a good size but it needed a little something to make it more flavorful and bring it all together. I plan to return, but if I get a sandwich I'll add jalapeño cream cheese and get my bacon extra crispy. Service was quick and friendly!

Their mission is to provide employment for adults with special needs and their profits support a vocational program to empower local citizens. When you first enter the building, you see a shop with lots of beautifully crafted and interesting products. Lots to shop here, although prices are high which then again, part of the proceeds go into a good cause and the products are well made. The cafe is located at the back of the shop. We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

(I am not from San Francisco, don't know how or why Yelp says I am, and I am unable to change it,…read morefor now...Kelly from Texas) I'm pushing 80 now. I grew up near Pasadena, where we had burger joints named Chuck Wagon. This is 70 years ago. Chuck Wagon had what I still consider to be my favorite hamburger. That's what I was weaned on, and spent a fraction of my younger years growing quite fond of. You know how it is, I bet. There was that sandwich shop, or hangout where they got to knowin' you. You always got that comfortable vibe from the folks there... and they had the absolute best Texas Hamburgers a child could want. Well, I went back there today...in my mind I'm talkin' about...not "actually" went back to the Chuck Wagon. I stopped by Texas Toast Breakfast and Burgers, ordered a Traditional Burger and fries, and took a bite. I swear to goodness every taste bud that remembered the Chuck Wagon burgers just stood up and said, "Where the heck am I." I'm bettin' that those of you who are of a certain age know exactly what I'm talkin' about....somethin' so good and so important in your life as that Chuck Wagon burger was in mine. It might be Grandma's cast iron skillet biscuits, or the chicken fried steak at the Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser. For me...today...it was that Traditional Burger at Texas Toast Breakfast and Burger.

While it was a bit of a far drive, it was well worth it to have breakfast at Texas Toast Breakfast and Burgers with these friends. I had no expectations of what to expect (first time diner), so I was starting from ground zero. First impression...this was a neighborhood café with down home cooking. The restaurant had a small town, country, and laid-back vibe...no pretense, just warm and welcoming. As I got out of my car, I could smell the wafts of something good happening in the kitchen. Our server was friendly and immediately offered us water. She gave us adequate time to place our orders and checked on us pretty frequently. She was attentive while also giving us the right amount of space. Why do this neighborhood café have a 4.8 rating? Hands the food! My friends ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Plate (including three over easy eggs, hash browns, and of course, Texas toast) and two breakfast tacos. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Did I die and go to food heaven? The waffles were firm on the exterior and soft and flavorful inside. So, so good! My friends were pleased their meals also. My friends meal came with Texas toast, which she gave to me. It was yummy! I did not eat it all since I was carb-loading with waffles. Would I dine at Texas Toast Breakfast & Burgers again? Absolutely!!!
