The avocado bagel was completely unseasoned--I honestly couldn't eat it. How do you serve avocado without even a little salt? Once I added salt myself, it tasted much better. I also got the garlic butter bagel. It was a little stiff and hard to chew, but it was still okay. Maybe next time I'll try the egg and cheese on a different bagel. A gentleman, who I believe to be the owner or manager, greeted and held conversations with customers as they came in. The atmosphere was nice. The room was painted in neutral colors with several tables and chairs for two available for seating. I will say if you're a tall person you may find the chairs a bit low. I'm so happy to have a great legit NYC bagel shop north of Austin-it was much needed! Love their sourdough bagels. My favorite is their sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich . Their plain cream cheese on the everything bagel was also very good. The cream cheese is so creamy all made in house! I also tried their toasted marshmallow latte and it was good 8/10. We got the churro bagel with honey cream cheese and the Austin Lox . I liked them both. I would probably get the regular lox next time. This sandwich was big and falling apart a little. My SF vanilla latte was on point and my girl liked her medium cold brew with vanilla and honey syrup with vanilla cold brew. I am not a fan of cold brew. It was too strong for me. We went here this morning for my work I ordered 3 dozen bagels. The lady who assisted us was rude she said next time give me 1-2 days notice for big orders. I should have walked out. It went downhill from there she didn't slice the bagels nor did she provide cream cheese. I didn't find out until I got to work. Updating my review due to rude service. Walked in this morning, there was no greeting/welcome in, which is fine. I asked the young lady working the front counter if they still had their date cream cheese, as I thought this was possibly a seasonal flavor, and she offered me a condescending smile and pointed to the menu. A simple reply yes/no could've sufficed but all she said to me was "look at the menu". She did let me try the date cream cheese. Then I tried asking her more questions what I wanted to order and she just kept telling me to look at the menu instead of answering my questions, which was rude. I gave up and just ordered what I had last time because she was so unhelpful. They were so much nicer to the customers after me and greeted them as soon as they walked in. The bagels are delicious, but I personally wouldn't return due to rude service. The original woman who took my order the first time I visited was very polite, warm, and great manners. My new favorite bagel spot in Cedar Park! I was craving a lox bagel and decided to treat myself. I came in around 9 AM on a Wednesday, and it was nice and quiet. There was only one other person there working on their laptop. Since it was my first time, the man working there offered me free bagel samples and helped me choose the best bagel type for the Austin Lox. He explained that all of their bagels are sourdough, with bagels sourced from Philadelphia and salmon from New York. I noticed a sign listing their cream cheese flavors and was shocked to see a date flavor. I mentioned I would try it next time and he went to the back and brought me a generous sample that was at least a couple of tablespoons. It was so good. I also ordered an iced Dubai latte with oat milk. It tasted like an iced mocha, just a bit more bitter and similar to dark chocolate or a French hot chocolate. I would 100% come back. The staff was so nice, the shop is super cute, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center. read more

We enjoyed our visit here! The actual bagels (the dough) of course were the best part and we tried one with bacon egg and cheese as well as one with smoked salmon. It was quite tasty and satiating which was nice and it was nice to see a variety of bagel opens available. I also didn't realize that they had a drive thru so I might have to utilize that next time for convenience's sake. I'll definitely be returning so I can try other bagels there! Lovely bagel shop that opened not too long ago on Parmer, and I'm already a fan. Why? Mainly the friendliness of the owner Mo (With his New York roots) and his warmness every time I've visited. What I REALLY liked is the creativity of their bagel flavors. From Za'tar, rosemary to churro bagels alongside with the classics (like sesame, everything and plain ones) they make everything in house. Plenty of flavored cream cheeses as well, the date one was a huge hit with us as well as their scallion flavored one. Every time im in the area I pass by and get a lox bagel and a bag of bagels to take home. Unlike other bagel joints they're also open later which is a huge plus. The restaurant is cute as well with some really nice murals that are inviting. Highly recommended, and the prices are reasonable as well. This place is fantastic. Cold brew + Bagels = Heaven. Anisah makes the best cold foam, and overall I have never been disappointed when she is working. She is kind and friendly, and has yet to make a single mistake on an order. My favorite bagel on the menu is the jalapeno cheddar with plain cheese, toasted and halved. The bacon egg and cheese is delicious. I have not been inside yet, just drive-thru. There have been multiple mistakes with my orders: missing cream cheese, not toasted, burnt bagel, but each time the worker is very kind and corrects the mistake. I work close by so I have been there every day and whenever Anisah is working I know it will turn out perfect. She needs to run some kind of training program at this point! read more

Visited Bagel Bear on my way to Cedar Park. The interior is spacious, clean, and full of natural light. I purchased the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel itself had plenty of seasoning and a great texture. As for the sandwich, it's a good size but it needed a little something to make it more flavorful and bring it all together. If it was not for my local foodie page on Facebook, I would not have know about this place! It is located in a very unassuming strip mall next to a Shell gas station on Parmer Lane past Whitestone Blvd. (*If I had not put it into my Google Maps, I would not have found it). But, I am so glad I did. Once you walk in, it is very light and bright, and great mural (see pic). As previous reviewer said, I don't think they have ALL of what they are going to have, in regards to selection out yet, but they did have quite a few kinds out (Jalapeno Cheddar, Everything, Onion, Poppy, Sesame, and Za'atar). They had a couple of samples out, one being Sesame and the other Za'atar. If you have never tried Za'atar (*like me), try it! OMG, the spices are amazing, and definitely not something you would get any other bagel shop! Also, they MAKE THE BAGELS ON-SITE! You can tell the difference! The lady at cash register was super friendly! She explained all the choices they had and was very excited when I told her how I found them. I decided on trying the Za'atar bagel with plain cream cheese, and went with my favorite flavor, the "Everything" bagel, with (what another reviewer recommended here) the Date Cream Cheese. While I was waiting, the (owner or manager) came from kitchen and offered me a small iced tea (*not coffee as other reviewer had said). The tea was great! I don't like anything in my tea (No sugar or sweetener) and it had a great flavor! Thanks so much! Got home, and split with my husband, so each of us could try both. Only thing "bad" I would say, is it was waaaayyy tooo much cream cheese on the bagel. I took off about a Tablespoon off each one. But, the spices in the Za'atar was very good! We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our son's dairy allergy, taking the time to walk us through safe options.
