The one item that has gone up exponentially is the cost of everything on the menu. We have continued to spend money here out of some false sense of nostalgia in hopes to see this place rebound. The picture I have included is a broken dish our food was served in. Luckily it was noticed before anyone in our party cut their hands on the protruding shards. The only reason I am giving this review 3 stars is because the live music performance by The Heat at the time we stopped in kept us there. If you're in Foley or nearby, this is the place to eat at if you're in the mood for Italian food. It was worth every penny we spent.

Although the food was very tasty, I just cannot understand why the items that I had ordered totaled $26. The bread was good and fresh, but it wasn't toasted, and the pasta salad lacked a lot of the ingredients I am accustomed to seeing in a true pasta salad. I gave this four stars, as the food was very good, but again I thought was much pricier than what we received.

We have a LOT of Greek and Middle Eastern restaurant options around New Orleans but options like that are challenging to find in Lower Alabama. There is a drive through only joint for gyros etc. in Gulf Shores but I'm a weirdo that HATES doing drive through and I only want to eat inside places as I don't eat in my vehicle like some kind of barbarian elementary school kid oinky oinking down on their chicken nuggets. Overall I would eat another gyro here if I can find them open again.

I got coconut as my flavor and that is where things sadly failed as the coconut flavor syrup just didn't have any coconut flavor like I'm used to with all my experiences eating snowballs in New Orleans. I hope they do way better with their other flavors while the coconut flavor at Pelican's Snoballs for me was a big loser. Overall this joint is alright for Foley but if they can fix that coconut flavor they could be really exceptional in the world of Snowballs and Snow Cones that exist in Lower Alabama. If the coconut flavor would have been decen this place would have earned four stars but the utter lack of flavor really ruined the experience. The BEST Snowballs in the world are still to be found at Hansen's Sno-Bliz in New Orleans!

They have a French Toast Bagel that is awesome! Their bagels are perfectly baked and they offer (you don't have to ask) several different toppings, which is also cool. I would rate it as a 5-star eatery if they served Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, but they don't...at least not right now. read more
