It was like going to a family reunion where you didn't know all of the extended families, but they wanted to know you -- and they genuinely cared about how you were and how they could make you feel welcome. The food was home-cooking good, and I was tempted to try every one of their homemade desserts. I know we didn't take three sips of coffee before our food came out piping hot and fresh off the griddle! The eggs were perfect as were the hash browns.
