My bestie & I just love coming here. The staff is so fun & down to Earth to talk to. They have great creative ideas too. I can't wait for cannoli cream cheese! Multiple choices for Idea Coffee and tons of bagel choices. I love the spinach and black russian flavors the best.

The bagel sandwiches are insanely delicious! We came in around 11:30am. If you come earlier they probably have a ton more great options in bagel selections! The workers were so friendly and kind! Also very efficient! We ate in one day and even came back for take out on our way back home. This place reminds me a lot of New York style bagels and they do an amazing job! This place only has a low rating due to a few bad reviews that seem to be from generally unsatisfied individuals. Highly recommend stopping here! Definitely a hidden gem! Our experience was lovely and we were instantly hooked!

My partner and I grabbed bagelwiches during our first visit to Bagel Lovers Cafe today. He ordered a pastrami, egg & cheese on marble rye bagel; I got a bacon, egg & cheese on an egg bagel. The service was friendly enough and relatively quick, too. The place is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, yet the interior is bright with pretty wall murals. They have some countertop seats and tables for dining in, but we grabbed our food to go. When we got home to eat, we discovered different bagels than what we ordered. I was given an everything egg bagel (instead of egg), and he received a rye (instead of marble rye, their flavor for July). These were in the ballpark of what we ordered, but still wrong. I'm not a big fan of everything seasoning, so I guess it's good they really under season them? Both bagels were quite under-toasted, too. My partner said that, despite the wrong, under-toasted bagel, the pastrami on his sandwich was tasty. My sandwich was fine, and I'm glad they got my cheese order correct. I'm sure we'll be back at some point; we'll just double-check that we actually get the food we ordered.

Wow wow. Really good bagels, best IMHO in 100 miles. Salt bagels and everything egg bagels were my favorite. Also they have unique cream cheese blends. Great service and the staff seems to be pretty happy too. Will be a regular here.

    Their website description

Do not order catering!!! Background: on Friday I ordered a bagel platter 1 for pickup on Tuesday at 8 am. This was well in advance of the requested 24 hours notice. I paid $112 for 18 bagels, cream cheese, jelly, and coffee. On Tuesday at 8:15, I showed up and the look of panic on the cashiers face told me that they were unaware they had a catering order. So I patiently waited, knowing I had a 9 am meeting that folks were expecting bagels and coffee for. About 8:30, the young woman with shorter dark brown hair brought the platter out and apologized for the wait. I asked "is there coffee coming too?" And she said very condescendingly that the coffee was complementary to the platter and she didn't have any coffee boxes. She offered me apple juice instead. I declined the apple juice, because adults want caffeine at 9 am, not apple juice. I further stated that if they didn't have all the ingredients for my order, they should have called me because they had my phone number. She said "well the coffee was complementary anyway. Take the platter or not, but I don't have coffee boxes." She was so condescending and dismissive, pushing me aside and asking the woman behind me how she could help her. So I took the platter to my car and checked the receipt I had for the order. It very clearly stated 2 boxes of coffee. So I paid $112 for 18 bagels and some cream cheese... or $6.22 per bagel on a piece of flimsy cardboard covered in seran wrap. Had I just bought 18 bagels sliced with 2 containers of cream cheese, it would have cost me less than $40!!! So I went back inside and asked for them to refund me the price of 2 boxes of coffee. The woman refused to do it at that time and said she would do it by the end of the day. It's now 2 days later and I have no received a refund for 2 boxes of coffee that were clearly stated on the catering site as being included. On a side note, the woman that I was dealing with was so absolutely dismissive and condescending to me during this situation. I spent years working in food service. At no point did she apologize for not having coffee boxes, not calling me to notify me OR suggest giving me a refund. She tried to say that the coffee was complementary. So I am expecting a refund or I will be paying another visit very soon to get my refund. So either the coffee is included in the price of the catering OR that was some expensive ass cardboard and seran wrap.

A great spot with scratch made bagels and more. Friendly staff and cute cafe for sitting and enjoying. The pastrami egg and cheese bagel was great.

In all, we would be lucky to find a place like Ressler's every time we are looking for a bagel while on the road. We also enjoyed the staff, and the order/pickup system moved quickly--so don't worry if the line is long when you arrive! She Said: I had high hopes as we saw the many people lining up at Ressler's as we pulled in the parking lot, and I wasn't disappointed. After many sad pumpernickel bagels at other bagel shops during our travels, I had decided that it was too difficult a flour to successfully work into a good bagel. After watching how things worked during our first 5 minutes in line, I decided that Ressler's had a chance of doing it well. My leap of faith was rewarded with a bagel with perfect texture from the slight crunch of the exterior to the lovely interior chew. The rye flavor was excellent, and I also appreciated the cream cheese which didn't have the waxiness that I've found in other cream cheese products. Next time I'll order my bagel with light cream cheese because they are generous with it... and I really hope there will be a next time soon! Potty Points: No trip to the potty for me today!

Normally, my week gets off to a rocky start--especially on the Monday after a holiday--but today, on this Taco Tuesday, I turned it into a Terrific Tuesday. I decided to get some work done on the computer and then went to get my bike fixed. Mission accomplished: it's fixed, and I even fixed it myself! After that, it was time to go feed my hunger. I normally try to wait until noon to get my grub on, so I decided to head to the Bagel Boutique, grab a coffee, and see what these bagels were all about. Of course, just like anyone with a brain would do, I did my research first to see if it was a good place. Some PennLive articles popped up with awesome reviews, so I headed out. Being a New Yorker straight out of Manhattan, I have to say: these bagels were poop. They just tasted like the Thomas' bagels you can get from any grocery store. There was nothing special about them besides the creative toppings. I would never go out of my way to get a bagel from this place again. I wish I would've just ordered them on UberEats so I didn't have to waste gas money and time driving all the way from Harrisburg to Mechanicsburg. Honestly, I think the decor was better than the food itself. They should call it the "Boooo Boutique," because that's exactly what it is. Thumbs down. This was my second visit to Dalicia -- my first was for dessert (which unfortunately didn't win me…read moreover), and this time my adventure buddy was set on giving their dinner menu a try. Menu unseen, expectations unclear...so off we went! Knowing from past experience that the restaurant can feel drafty, I arrived layered up and ready for a cozy-but-practical evening on a cold February night. We walked in around 6pm without a reservation and were seated without issue as we were the only two people inside other than folks working. We started with the flatbread appetizer (feta, spinach, artichoke, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, scallions, turkey pepperoni on flaky pastry - $8), and honestly -- this was the highlight of the night. The pastry was thin and crisp, piled generously with toppings, and finished with what tasted like a garlicky sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Light, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. In hindsight, I should have just ordered a second one and called it dinner while things were still making me do the happy food dance. For my entrée, I ordered the Turkey Pesto Crepe ($12.25), described as sliced turkey, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone mozzarella cheese, and sun-dried tomato pesto. On paper, this sounded fantastic -- a combination that should have delivered distinct flavors and textures. Unfortunately, everything blended together into one uniform consistency, and the individual ingredients didn't stand out the way I had hoped. It wasn't inedible -- I just lost interest after a few bites because nothing felt memorable. My adventure buddy ordered the Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage) ($18.95), described as cabbage stuffed with beef, onions, and rice, served with potatoes (his choice instead of rice). Again, the ingredients sounded promising, but the overall experience landed in the "fine" category -- nothing wrong, but nothing particularly exciting either. The potatoes fell into the same space: acceptable, but lacking seasoning or personality that might elevate the dish. We paired dinner with Pepsi Zero ($2.25 each -- note for fellow Diet Pepsi fans, they don't carry it here). Total for the evening came to about $55 including tip. It may simply not be my flavor style, but I'm always glad to support local and try something new.

The day before, I had a great cup from Passenger, but today I stopped by Little Amps in downtown Harrisburg before hitting the road. The atmosphere was excellent; it reminded me of home in LA with the records playing, dim lighting, and vintage decor everywhere. I felt a bit torn, like one coffee house wanted me to stay and the other wanted me to leave, so I decided to "break myself in half" and visit both. After all, two of me is better than one! I highly rate Little Amps for the scenery. The vintage look and the outdoor seating make you feel like you're in Manhattan or Paris, giving you the vibe of three places all in one. If you haven't been to any of these spots yet, save your money and just visit Little Amps to get that "all-in-one" experience.
